Mindrender has the same wording as Grizzled Wizard, and that guy just swaps hero powers bazillion times with brann and things go back to the same result. So no, you can't achieve a permanent switch with Mindrender.
The card text clearly states "until your next turn", so any swaps will be reverted, and both of players will be playing the same things they did prior to that.
If it worked this way, then so should Grizzled Wizard. Their wording is literally the same.
If your enemy plays Azalina, both of you get King's Ransom, and decks will inevitably change, so your opponent basically gives you 7 mana crystals next turn.
Really, all you need to do is (1) Play Tog (2) Play Illucia (3) Wait one turn (4) Play Azalina.
The flow of events is that at the start of your turn after Illucia you'll still get enemy's deck to you, but you will be able to freely play Azalina Soulthief and just go on with it.
In fact, this combo will always work so long as you have Azalina in your hand, because the only requirement you need is to not let your enemy play the King's Ransom on their next turn.
Idk how competitive this is, but sounds retardedly fun, what do you guys think?
Your hand has to have the three of this gang in place.
(1) Play Tog - you have your enemy's deck, your enemy has King's Ransom.
(2) Play Illucia - you have your deck back, but your enemy's hand is yours and you see King's Ransom there, in your enemy's hand.
(3) That's it! On your next turn, you would get your decks swapped back, but you will just need to play Azalina and BAM, your enemy cannot rely on King's Ransom anymore!
If your enemy plays Azalina while the effect of illucia stays, they are digging their own grave for their deck - hands will be swapped, just like decks, and the result is that you have your enemy's hand and their deck - a perfect steal!
I wonder how competitive this is tho, coz unlike druid Priest doesn't have that much card draw, but I'll try this delightfully devilish combo nevertheless.
The key core is to not let your enemy play King's Ransom on their turn, which is the reason why druids who run this combo really need Avianna so that the Ransom no longer works in enemy's favor.
If you could somehow add Azalina Soulthief, you could replace your enemy's hand permanently.
I will find a way to do this combo and nobody is ever going to stop me. I will find it.
This thing totally goes to my steal priest deck tho. It's a perfect counter to literally any combo deck, and, as a matter of a fact, this counter mecha'thun lock if they have any combo piece in their hand, ESPECIALLY if it's Cataclysm.
I love this card beyond comprehension, and from my preorder I genuinely hope this will be the one I will highroll into the golden legendary.
Discover belonged to the League, and because they managed to strike something much more valuable than gold or cigar with the mechanic - so good and innovative it was back then, the keyword was kept.
You gotta agree, better this kept than recruits or inspire. I would much rather see that than "Choose one of the three randomly generated cards".
It didn't, but whether Spellburst effect would appear again on cards' text or not has been a part of the Q/A, and Blizz representative clearly stated that Spellburst is Scholomance-specific.
This card obviously works only with direct damage spell, like Flanking or Explosove shot.
This said, it won't see play, hunter doesn't need to run this. Only use I see is with rapid fire or arcane shot, but these cards are so Awful on their own, I wouldn't bother.

"Does not look like they are fixing soon" - they literally said yesterday in AMA that they are gathering info. Muster some patience, mate

Brann + illucia does nothing, pretty much the same thing as Brann + Grizzled Wizard

This combo consists of having three cards in your hand - Mindrender Illucia, Azalina Soulthief and King Togwaggle.

You can go with a 2-turn combo with this, Azalina Soulthief and King Togwaggle.

They wanted to keep Recrtuit to Kobolds specific, much like Spellburst and Inspire.

It's an interesting scenario, one that is not so plausible, these druids run Jepetto and Psychmelons.
This thing also needs two spells to trigger, you can't go with Avianna combo, and you need a good reason to not go with Avianna.
Edit: I couldn't fix a typo that made me feel insecure, mobile hearthpwn feels uncomfortable.

Yeah, I mean, Kun is Just better

Unleash does not work with this, it only summon minions, it doesn't deal damage.
