I like that they are trying to do their own thing while still sometimes throwing in old classics. And really, it better for them to go this route, because most people who likes the WoW lore will still play WoW, not HS. Making new characters loosens the effect of people feeling like they should know the characters. And yes, this is a thing that happens. It actually happened quite recently when i was introducing a friend to MtG: Arena. He said that since he doesn't know the characters then the interactions didn't make much sense to him.
You do understand that their team already knows what cards are coming in the next 2 expansions, right? You balance stuff differently when you have that type of info.
People constantly ask the devs to communicate but when they do, the community calls them names instead of actually addressing the problem. Kind of sad when you think about it. Really wouldnt like to be in their position during those times.
I am sorry if this comes off rude, but you make all these threads yet don't provide any quality content yourself. Seems kind of pointless to start a thread and not provide any meat to the said topic.
Because that's exactly how resources work, right? They work two expansions ahead of when they realease them, they've been doing this work all of last year. It's not like they release something then take a huge vacation between expansions. Making games is fucking hard especially when playtesting is such a small fraction of the intended audience. Chill out and go play any of the thousands of games you can also play for free out there.
1) who said that they are working 2 expansion ahead?
2) Yes it is how resources work. If you are not doing something you have more time to do something else.
Who said that they are working 2 expansions ahead? Ben Brode in one of his last interviews. Also, once again, they work in two teams. A guy who is good at coming up with adventure bosses isn't going to be perfect for the final design/balance team.
Also previous dungeon run hasn´t been updated with new cards, so this one won´t gain anyting new when next expansion hits.
No? You can get the WitchWood cards in the Kobold and Catacombs dungeon run. The unique pool is filled with them. Maybe do a little fact checking before posting?

How hard is it for you to understand, that the guys making the actual game, don't make the comics themselves.
You really expect a programmer to do the same work as an illustrator?

You just can't stop crying about Mecha-Jaraxxus eh?

But the deck doesn't even have Mecha'Thun in it?

So you are telling me that your version of Cone of Cold doesn't freeze minions?

Hopefully not too late.

Their point is that they wont launch the beta with bans. It is still a feature that they may include for the full release.

Still such a shame to see them go, but hopefully, they will provide us with another great game.
