BarnacleEd posted a message on Tracking the Witch HunterPosted in: HunterAny thoughts on Call of the Wild in this deck? I've seen a few lists running it and, since I personally don't have any Molten Giants, I was wondering if it might make a reasonable replacement.
(Sadly however, since I also don't have the hunter DK, I probably can't play this list period...been thinking about highmanes or even Gladiator's Longbow instead)

SentineIs posted a message on Heeljin Skeletons from Below RoguePosted in: Heeljin Skeletons from Below RogueThe video was informative and helpful.
Started playing this deck and it really resolved a lot of the problems I was having with Quest Rogue. Good early and mid, and the slow pace lets me build up, rather then going all or nothing all the time.
Saronite Chain Gang with Shadowcaster has won me a few games, and got off my quest, something I would of never thought was feasible.
I don't have patches unfortunatley, so I switched it out for Valeera the Hollow. A bit more susceptible to early game aggro, but the long haul pacing of the deck lets me get to the point where I can play Valeera and then make more value from my cards.
(Also I can't believe I haven't tried cycling Swashburglers yet...I feel like Im stealing more cards then my Thief Rogue Voss Deck haha)
+1 from me :) -

derekmshaw posted a message on Anyone using Prince Keleseth? Pit fighter Gul'danPosted in: WarlockHey, I'm loving Prince Keleseth, and I'm actually trying to make a viable deck for each class with him. Here is the Warlock deck that I am testing this season, and so far I've gone from Rank 20 to Rank 14 and I'm still winning.
One of the major reasons I love the Prince is that he makes mulliganing so much easier. You have fewer choices, so you pretty much just hope for Prince Keleseth, and otherwise hang on to one drops and one 3 drop

donnie330216 posted a message on Heeljin KotFT What's in the Box? WarriorPosted in: Heeljin KotFT What's in the Box? WarriorThis deck is highly thought out and not a meme nor "fun" deck at all and is actually well put together. The only problem I see with it is the current meta shape we are in atm where there is nothing but Jade Druid and Big EZ Priest just everywhere you turn. Although with this specific deck we can with the big EZ Priest builds with the simple inclusion of +2 Execute there is still no viable late game answer for the jade Druid so by choosing to pilot this deck you must be okay with the fact that your decks main weakness is the most prominent populated deck on the entire ladder. Other than this small simple fact however I approve of the innovation behind the craft of this deck and it goes well out of "The Box" ;)
"So kudos to the craftsman of this deck archetype because if we were in a different meta this build is well deserving of a front page spot because of the architecture and efforts put into it's design."
"Furthermore I will be both +1 your deck and adding you to my watch list on here. as I hope to see more great deck ideas from you in the future and encourage you to keep striving and to let you know that you are appreciated from deck designer to designer."
"So you may not have gotten quantity in which it takes to gain popularity on the site ,but catching my eye in specific has garnered you quality and feel free to contact me in the future for your future theory crafts and I will be happy to work with you cause it is people like us with innovative minds that our community needs to enable any meta we wish as our end goal."
"Good luck in all of your future builds this season and the rest of 2017 and may you reach the front page with your innovation & efforts".

Turns hero power into justicar mage, and works well with our zombie friend and mistress. Ik most decks run soulpriest to wipe with circle of healing, but I think it's a valid card in this deck. You?

We are back with ANOTHER Untamed Beastmaster deck this time in Shaman where we do get a couple really sweet interactions and class restricted beasts. Beastmaster into Ice Fishing on turn-5 can draw two 3-mana 5/6 "murlocs" in the form of Nightmare Amalgams. Already drawn an amalgam? No problem, put a copy back into the deck with Baleful Banker and possibly more with Augmented Elekk. Nightmare Amalgam is serving triple duty here as not only a beast/murloc but also an elemental to support the powerful Kalimos, Primal Lord and another beastmaster synergy card, Elementary Reaction. The new legendary from Rastakhans, Krag'wa The Frog is the king beast in the deck and works very well with both Unstable Evolution and the beast, Corridor Creeper. Comboing these cards together is so much fun so we include a copy of Spirit of the Frog to help get evolution by using The Coin or Zap!. The Spirit also helps live the Un'goro dream by pulling the pack quickly out of the deck generated by our only 5-drop, Elise the Trailblazer. We actually have multiple ways of getting multiple packs through Augmented Elekk, Elementary Reaction and Krag'wa, the Frog. Late game this deck tends to fall back on the grind out power of Hagatha the Witch who works well in a deck which is almost entirely minions.

Here we have we have a Mage deck in which pretty much EVERY SINGLE CARD focused on beating everyone's most hated deck, Big Priest aka Barnes Priest aka Big EZ Priest aka come on Blizzard did you really have to print ANOTHER resurrect card!?! Each card pretty much falls into just three categories. Poly/transform cards, give your opponent a shit minion cards and finally cards that can discover more Poly cards! In the straight Poly department we have Potion of Polymorph and Polymorph: Boar along with Tinkmaster Overspark and the actual card Polymorph. Arcanologists helps grab potions from the deck and Arcane Keysmiths can pull them directly into play. As for giving our opponent garbage we start on turn one with a couple "Zombie Chows", Saronite Taskmaster & Gravelsnout Knight. The dragon duo of Marsh Drake & Hungry Dragon also help our opponent's Resurrect pool nicely. The last class of cards in the deck are the discovers including the new Firetree Witchdoctor along with Primordial Glyph & Ethereal Conjurer. The deck includes basically two cards for the rest of the field to give you SOME chance of winning a non-Barnes match-up. Both these cards can work well when giving your opponent random 1-health minions, Mind Control Tech & Frost Lich Jaina.

Our recent run through Untamed Beastmaster decks continues this time looking at Warlock. The big thing Warlock Beastmaster has going for it is the natural synergy with hero power and ways to draw cards on the cheap with Kobold Librarian & Soularium. Warlock's also have super solid class restricted beasts in Duskbat, Ravenous Pterrordax and Chittering Tunneler. Tunneler is definitely better than it's ever been because there are so many great 1-mana spells to grab that the deck is already running like Grim Rally, Soul Infusion and The Soularium. Unlike the other Beastmaster decks we tried this version gets away with running Snowflipper Pengiun which comes into play immediately after getting buffed and worst case can be sacrificed to Pterrordax or Rally. This deck would work as a Prince Keleseth deck to be sure but I stuck with Dire Wolf Alpha & Scarab Egg which help support the Corridor Creepers & Grim Rallys. The big dream with this deck is certainly to land all four hand buffs on the Legendary Hir'eek, the Bat for a board full of 9/9s!

Genn Greymane Hunter has always had access to all the secrets but never really any secret synergy cards until... the recent nerf to Lesser Emerald Spellstone. This version of Genn Hunter uses a "bomb" shell including all the even Goblin Bomb cards and Feign Death to combo them with. Turn one "Dennis" to the face means we had better be aggressive and that's why the deck's choices can seem strange like two Dart Traps and only one Wandering Monster. What makes our 1-mana hero power really shine and the reason we go to Wild are a couple 2-mana minions in Garrison Commander & Steamwheedle Sniper. The sniper offering early game board control and the commander offers some late game reach. A big turning point was finding Ticking Abomination, a card with obvious negative spellstone synergy but makes up for it by being both a huge threat early and late threat because of bombs on the board.

The biggest push Blizzard gave to Warlocks from Rastakhan's Rumble was certainly the new discard cards, finally getting that archetype into the spotlight. For a few sets now there's also been cards promoting a go-wide strategy like Unwilling Sacrifice & Fiendish Circle. Rumble introduces even more so it's time to take a look at what these cards do together and we're doing it all in the name of Illidan Stormrage. Grim Rally is no Savage Roar finisher but represents a great deal for 1-mana much like Mark of the Lotus does. The big surprise for me was how well Demonbolt performed and how often it only costed 1-2 mana. It's a bit tricky to find a win-condition in a deck full of 1/1s and that's where Witch's Cauldron can save the day if you can hit a Blood Lust or The Stormbringer. Finding use for random Shaman spells can be tricky, luckily this deck can use both Totemic Might & Ice Fishing because of Illidan Stormrage & Murloc Tidehunter. I cut the new card Blood Troll Sapper down to one but it does attack your opponent's life total on a different level which is always welcome.

One of the first things I wanted to do after seeing Untamed Beastmaster was try it in a non-Hunter class. We turn to Mage first because of how early he combos with Book of Specters. This puts double restrictions on our deck! Not only are we going to be almost completely minions, they also have to be beasts. Luckily there are some versatile ones to be had. At 2-mana Golakka Crawler is back in the meta now that Kingsbane Rogue is being tested more and more. Raven Familiar's job is to pull out the only other spell in the deck, Pyroblast, which serves as our end game. Nightmare Amalgam is a solid beast on turn-3 that also sets up synergies with two different 4-drops in the deck, Gentle Megasaur & Scaleworm. No spells means big minions can be a real issue so we landed on Stoneskin Basilisk as the other 3-drop beast. Tech minions are strong right now, the deck has max copies of Gluttonous Ooze along with copies of Chief Inspector & Mossy Horror. Beastmaster into book is always the goal but the real dream is when you combine this combo with Archmage Arugal!

As the name suggests this Paladin deck is playing both buff synergy cards Echoing Ooze & Lynessa Sunsorrow. The great part is we can consistently search these out of our deck with Crystology. The game plan for the most part is to play a slow control game backed by the power of Equality and at some point land a Seal of Champions or Blessing of Kings onto a Ooze. The second Ooze ideally you hit with exactly Spikeridged Steed. From this point Lynessa is going to be great but we want back ups! The deck runs both Zola the Gorgon & Baleful Banker to make sure you aren't foiled by just one silence. The banker helps the second copy of Crystology become more relative late game. I found having exactly three search targets a bit low so one copy of Acolyte of Pain made the list to again make sure you can cast Crystology the second time for some value.

As the name might suggest this deck has many themes running through it. It's main goal is building a large Shudderwock turn with the multiplying battlecries of Saronite Chain Gang & Doppelgangster. To beef up these 6/6s we are using the dragon duo of Twilight Drake and Twilight Guardian to make sure our shudderwock turn can't be ignored. Malygos serves mostly as a "dragon in hand" card, but it's also supported with a couple cheap 1-mana burn spells in Lightning Bolt & Frost Shock that can get to 0-mana with Emperor Thaurissan. Much like Doppelgangster, an activated Finja, the Flying Star will pull enough onto the board to get a nice Evolve turn. Spirit Echos is a big card here as it combos nicely with the small freeze theme by copying cards like Glacial Shard & Brrrloc. The dream of course is copying any leftover Shudderwocks too continue filling the board with huge taunts. An Emperor Thaurissan tick enables this at 10-mana!
