Hey guys. The goal of this series is to create and highlight an interesting deck and then play a few games on the ladder. Grinding Standard can be frustrating so we will try to "survive" by having as much fun as possible.
This deck stands on two pillars, hand buff synergies and using an elemental package to land the powerful combo of Blackguard into Ragnaros, Lightlord. The new end of turn doubler Drakkari Enchanter has a great body to take hand buffs and it super charges your Grimestreet Enforcer turns.
The Jade Druid match-up might be a little bit too miserable so you might want to consider Skulking Geist.
THINGS TO NOTE
Attacking with Truesilver Champion with Blackguard out causes the 2 damage to happen before the attack. It can cleave another minion or be wasted on a 4/4 randomly. Ragnaros, Lightlord is the only Paladin Elemental so you have a very high chance to get him with Servant of Kalimos.

One copy of Mindbreaker is included as the Hunter hero power is not important in a control list until you need Deathstalker Rexxar. This card is very powerful right now against shaman and the new control Warlock deck.
THINGS TO NOTE
Deathstalker Rexxar and deathknight cards are not actually spells and so you will not get a 6-drop from Medivh, the Guardian. There is a learning curve with Rexxar, low cost things are generally better and be careful not to pick both stealth and taunt! While they didn't make it in at the time of the recording I would consider trying one copy of Stitched Tracker and N'Zoth, the Corruptor. The tracker could also make getting the very fun Professor Putricide more consistent.

There is no hurry to complete the quest like the decks of old. You will always begin games with the plan of bouncing Swashburglar for value. In the mid game you will be bouncing Plague Scientist and Vilespine Slayer to control threats. Eventually you will might complete the quest with these first 3 options or you will fall into enough Skeletons or Flame Elementals by using Shadowcaster and Vanish.
THE MULLIGAN
The most important card in the entire deck is actually Swashburglar as it is always going to be your initial bounce plan. Vilespine Slayer is a very strong keep if you are going second with The Coin.

Being a Reno Jackson deck I always recommend keeping him the mulligan. If it looks like a control match-up just keep the card draw guys and big deathrattles.
Spirit Echo is very powerful in this deck as it can double up your healing men vs aggro or your deathrattles vs control.

Having this late game covered, the rest of the deck will be tuned for aggro match-ups including all the tempo rogue spells, and early taunts like Tar Creeper and Deathlord. The bounce cards Shadowstep and Youthful Brewmaster help the end-game of the deck by possible getting multiple Old God battlecrys.
THE MULLIGAN
Being a Reno Jackson deck I always recommend keeping him the mulligan. The deck is sort on 4-drops so its a good idea to keep one at the start.
This list started out as a much more "fun" version with cards like Gazlowe, Toshley and even ANOTHER old god Yogg-Saron, Hope's End. The performance of this version wasn't really at acceptable levels so some hard cuts had to be made!

Today's deck is much like the Full Hands Mage Wild deck this time ported to Standard. The title comes from the fact that most of the cards replace themselves and it becomes very easy to land on a full hand and mill your topdeck card.
It's fine to mulligan the quest, Open the Waygate against various aggro match-ups like Pirate Warrior or Midrange Hunter. Mana Wyrm does most of the heavy lifting early and is important to get. The AoE spells are one-ofs so consider keeping even Meteor against a match-up like Miracle Rogue.
TECH CHOICES
For AoE in standard I like having access to a Volcanic Potion and we also include a Meteor.
THINGS TO NOTE
I was very curious about the interaction of Bright-Eyed Scout and the various giant cards. Pulling one will lock the cost at 5-mana even if the conditions of the giant's cost change throughout the game. Consider not playing the quest on turn-1 as it can help land an early Mountain Giant.

The goal is to stay on board and eventually overwhelm with 8/8s. The deck has a good fatigue match-up vs non-Jade decks as it has Naturalize, Coldlight Oracle, and Justicar Trueheart.
The deck is warped around playing the giants so nothing is specifically teched in.
THINGS TO NOTE
I mention in the video there are only two joust neutrals however I did not find Armored Warhorse or The Skeleton Knight. These might be fun to include as you win just about every joust battle.

For the long term:
At 150 packs you generally get x2 of each rare. After that its just better to save gold for the next round.
2
What's gross about Spreading Plague is it all but guarantees they will hit their Primordial Drakes. The drakes then insure the Ultimate Infestation breaks your back.

Been testing this guy in Shaman and Warrior. Its not tier 1 or anything but its really fun! :)

DECK GOALS
Backed by weapons and Tar Creeper you are trying to set up a Drakkari Enchanter into Grimestreet Enforcer to make huge, undercosted minions. Eventually closing games with powerful Blackguard combos, Ragnaros, Lightlords, The Lich King, and Uther of the Ebon Blade.
THE MULLIGAN
Being a hand buff deck, look to land early Fire Fly and hand buffs from Smuggler's Run and Grimestreet Outfitter. This deck lacks Equality combos so having a Truesilver Champion in the mid-game is very important. The single copies of Divine Favor and Sunkeeper Tarim can be powerful enough to keep in the open considering your other cards in hand.
TECH CHOICES
The Jade Druid match-up might be a little bit too miserable so you might want to consider Skulking Geist.

Grinding Standard can be frustrating so we will try to "survive" by having as much fun as possible.
Can Hunter control finally be a thing? Lets help Deathstalker Rexxar find out using some of the new Knights cards in Hunter including Abominable Bowman and Professor Putricide. There are also new neutral tools to play with: Mindbreaker, Saronite Chain Gang and The Lich King himself.
DECK GOALS
The deck abandons most midrange Hunter cards to try to test the potential of Abominable Bowman. The goal to get extra Savannah Highmanes or Nesting Rocs from the deathrattle trigger. To support Professor Putricide a large secret package is included, as well as Cloaked Huntress and an Eaglehorn Bow. Its important to have strong end game in control decks so we include Medivh, the Guardian into double Call of the Wild.
THE MULLIGAN
Extra copies of Hidden Cache and Cat Trick are included in the deck because they are the ideal secrets to play on turn-2. Hidden Cache into Saronite Chain Gang can be very powerful if you set it up.
TECH CHOICES
One copy of Mindbreaker is included as the Hunter hero power is not important in a control list until you need Deathstalker Rexxar. This card is very powerful right now against shaman and the new control Warlock deck.
THINGS TO NOTE

Hey guys. Much like the Surviving Standard series my goal with these is to start with an interesting deck that is fun to
play but ultimately win games on the Wild ladder.
DECK DESCRIPTION
This deck is centered on using the new Knights card Drakkari Enchanter to combo with the end of turn Mage cards Illuminator and Ethereal Arcanist as well as the powerful neutrals: Cobalt Scalebane, Emperor Thaurissan, Ragnaros the Firelord, The Lich King, Ysera and even Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound!
DECK GOALS
Early on you are trying to set-up a long-term secrets Ice Block or Spellbender in order to take advantage of the synergy cards Medivh's Valet, Illuminator and Ethereal Arcanist. Setting up a Duplicate before playing Bright-Eyed Scout can give you many chances to cheat your end-game bombs out early.
THE MULLIGAN
The most important cards to keep are the early secret creatures Arcanologist, Mad Scientist and Kirin Tor Mage.
TECH CHOICES
Its the end of the world! Of course we will include a copy of Meteor. Volcanic Potion will also be included to round out the AoE spells.
THINGS TO NOTE
Drakkari Enchanter reads "your end of turn effects trigger twice" therefore having two in play does not grant addition benefit much like having two Baron Rivendares. Drakkari Enchanter into Cobalt Scalebane is exceptional as you end up with a 3-mana 7/5 and a 5/5 that continues to buff. If you can Duplicate a Saronite Chain Gang you can get many taunts to hide your Cobalt Scalebane behind.

Hey guys. The goal of Surviving Standard is to highlight an interesting deck and then play a few games on the ladder. Grinding standard can be frustrating so we will try to "survive" by having as much fun as possible.
DECK DESCRIPTION
Much like Dragons from Below Rogue, this is a long-term The Caverns Below deck using the new tools from Knights which include: Plague Scientist, Bone Baron, Grim Necromancer, and Saronite Chain Gang.
DECK GOALS
TECH CHOICES
Old quest rogue decks could afford to run Hungry Crab or Golakka Crawlers. The nerf to The Caverns Below makes these tech choices unrealistic.
THINGS TO NOTE
The power in Plague Scientist is it's interaction with the pirate cards Patches the Pirate and Southsea Deckhand. These charge pirates are generally best saved for the scientist. Be careful with Shadowcaster and Saronite Chain Gang as it will copy a 1/1 minion. This can still be useful for quest completion however.

DECK DESCRIPTION
Yo dawg. I heard you like Tirion Fordring so I put a Tirion Fordring in your Tirion Fordring. Blizzard answered our dreams of being able to make an all Tirion Fordring all the time deck with the release of Howling Commander and Desperate Stand. The commander gives you three chances to draw Tirion Fordring throughout the game all but guaranteeing him before turn-8.
DECK GOALS
The journey begins by surviving with classic control Paladin cards Equality, Consecration, Aldor Peacekeeper and Truesilver Champion. Then, the turn before playing Tirion Fordring try to set-up the secrets Redemption and/or Getaway Kodo so you can of course get more Tirion Fordrings! The ultimate goal is an eventual N'Zoth, the Corruptor to make a full board of Tirion Fordrings! The dream combo is casting a Desperate Stand on Tirion Fordring and then using a Faceless Manipulator.
THE MULLIGAN
Because of Howling Commander you have my permission to mulligan Tirion Fordring even though that's pretty sacrilegious. Lost in the Jungle is a great turn-1 play as it makes it easier to hero power over the first few turns.
TECH CHOICES
Got no time for tech choices. We want Tirion Fordring!
THINGS TO NOTE
The new card Saronite Chain Gang combos well with Getaway Kodo to give you time to set up your Tirion Fordring. I believe Cairne Bloodhoof is a must craft to play this deck, he serves as an "early" Tirion Fordring to use secrets on and also bait out the devil, Hex. Consider saving Lost in the Jungle if you don't get it turn-1 to combo with Sunkeeper Tarim.

DECK DESCRIPTION
Today's Shaman deck is a Reno Jackson list that is stuffed to the gills with healing cards. Yes the deck contains Lightwarden, Friendly Bartender, and Gadgetzan Socialite on purpose!
DECK GOALS
Against aggressive decks you are looking to brute force heal your way to victory or at some point land a Reno Jackson to break their back. Against more controlling decks the plan switches to a small but potent N'Zoth, the Corruptor package featuring White Eyes, Sylvanas Windrunner, Sludge Belcher, and Spirit Echo.
THE MULLIGAN
Being a Reno Jackson deck I always recommend keeping him the mulligan. If it looks like a control match-up just keep the card draw guys and big deathrattles.
TECH CHOICES
So control match-ups aren't super miserable we include 3 card-draw machines Mana Tide Totem, Acolyte of Pain, and even Nat Pagle!
THINGS TO NOTE
Spirit Echo is very powerful in this deck as it can double up your healing men vs aggro or your deathrattles vs control.

DECK DESCRIPTION
Today's Rogue deck features both C'Thun and N'Zoth, the Corruptor in a Reno Jackson list. A copy of Ancient Harbinger was added eventually to make sure our Old Gods cannot stay hidden forever!
DECK GOALS
Having this late game covered, the rest of the deck will be tuned for aggro match-ups including all the tempo rogue spells, and early taunts like Tar Creeper and Deathlord. The bounce cards Shadowstep and Youthful Brewmaster help the end-game of the deck by possible getting multiple Old God battlecrys.
THE MULLIGAN
Being a Reno Jackson deck I always recommend keeping him the mulligan. The deck is sort on 4-drops so its a good idea to keep one at the start.
TECH CHOICES
Rogues have always had a weakness to wide boards so we combat this by including all the creature AoE cards, Dark Iron Skulker, Corrupted Seer, Primordial Drake and The Curator to get them.
THINGS TO NOTE
This list started out as a much more "fun" version with cards like Gazlowe, Toshley and even ANOTHER old god Yogg-Saron, Hope's End. The performance of this version wasn't really at acceptable levels so some hard cuts had to be made!

DECK GOALS
The win conditions are Open the Waygate into either Arcane Giants or Mountain Giants. You can also set up a strong Archmage Antonidas turn with zero and one mana spells aquired through Primordial Glyph, Mana Bind, Burgly Bully, and Mukla, Tyrant of the Vale.
THE MULLIGAN
It's fine to mulligan the quest, Open the Waygate against various aggro match-ups like Pirate Warrior or Midrange Hunter. Mana Wyrm does most of the heavy lifting early and is important to get. The AoE spells are one-ofs so consider keeping even Meteor against a match-up like Miracle Rogue.

DECK DESCRIPTION
Today's deck is a Reno Jackson Druid list featuring every giant card in the game. To ensure the giants are all playable the deck includes card draw for Mountain Giant, Justicar Trueheart and Savage Combatant for Frost Giant, plenty of spells for Arcane Giant, and some opponent card draw for Clockwork Giant.
DECK GOALS
The goal is to stay on board and eventually overwhelm with 8/8s. The deck has a good fatigue match-up vs non-Jade decks as it has Naturalize, Coldlight Oracle, and Justicar Trueheart.
THE MULLIGAN
Zombie Chow, Gadgetzan Jouster, and Living Roots are all important turn-1 plays as you will most likely have to hero power turn-2. I would always keep Reno Jackson in the mulligan regardless of match-up.
TECH CHOICES
The deck is warped around playing the giants so nothing is specifically teched in.
