It can vary massively. I’ve reached legend on day 3 one month and day 30 another. One big win spree often speeds things up. I find that rank 2-3 is extremely competitive, after that you start playing legend players who play more fun decks.
I really feel that the quest version with twig as a back up is just better. I used it from 5k to 800 legend last month which proves it’s pretty consistent.
Also so if I were to run this version then I would definitely use Alexstrasa to account for the lack of burst this deck often has.
The whole strategy around quest rogue is completing the quest ASAP, and charging down your opponent with cheap charge/rush minions. I’m just saying I don’t feel the -1/1 actually makes much of a difference as the gameplan of the deck is exactly the same. And will always be favoured against slow decks. Quest rogue is perfectly cabaple of beating zoolock, as always it’s about how lucky the card draw is.
Taunt Druid is fun if you like building walls and very very long games. Taunt warrior is ok but the win rate isn’t great.
Even and odd pally are simply the best decks to craft if you want to hit legend early in the month. If you have Prince Liam then odd pally can be pretty hilarious sometimes.
Don’t craft shamen or hunter decks, ive tried them all at legend level this month and they are just terrible.
To answer your earlier question I feel this deck actually has a higher win rate then even. It’s entirely because of the hero power. Stonehill defender can often find Tarim or Tyrion to help finish games easily, and vs odd hunter and especially odd rogue the value from hero power just overwhelmes them. I feel that Even-pally has inconsistencies from not drawing call to arms, the 2 drops actually don’t compete well with all the top 1 drops like firefly, mole squire etc. and and an underwhelming hero power that gets cancelled out by all the strong 1 drops from odd decks.
Cool idea with the thugs. I personally run 2 archer vets instead as I think hero power + 1 drop is a better turn 3. Definitely give stormwind champion a chance as he is such a game changer almost every time I draw him. I also run Prince Liam instead of creeper for fun. First time I tried him I got Emeris into 16,16 king crush lethal >.<
I have played probably over 100 games with this deck in legend now and I am torn between Valinir and Silver Sword... I find with silver sword that by turn 8 you have normally either won or lost the game/board control. So its either a deaddraw or overkill, but with Valinir silence is in almost every deck so it also has the potential to suck.
Also playing around with glass knight and defender of argus over 1 consecration.
I just can’t get this deck to work. It has no board clears unless you luck out with spellstone, and the minions just aren’t strong enough to hold their own in a tempo based matchup. I’ve taken a 2k hit in the legend ranks to try and actually win with it :,(
Its a shame because I have Toki and Arugal from packs but they just aren’t making the cut for me.
Yeah, freak out about Shudderwock, while Baku Pala is farming ladder. SeemsGood
Baku pally really isn’t that good. Without call to arms, knife juggler, Tarim etc it feels so weak to play against. I’ve never had trouble beating it. (I’m playing a few decks that I didn’t just net deck like almost every other user here).

Haven’t seen a cubelock yet after 20+ games

Quest rogue is definitely still viable. At 1k legend it’s the only deck alongside zoolock that has beaten my Maly Druid so far.

I’m currently 7-0 vs warlock at 2k legend with.... Malygos quest otk Druid! Fun times.

Sounds unreliable for an OTK deck. And without ice block? Aggro decks will be laughing.

Why do people keep saying that this draws a poisonous card? Have they not actually looked at the card yet?
