I’ve been playing stalladris a lot recently and the value he brings been with wrath is so crucial for a deck that runs minimal removal and cycle. He has single handedly won me games vs murloc shamen, and in any game he isn’t removed he just snowballs more value.
I switched out a landscaping for the glorious gloop spell and the swing turns you can get with it is just ridiculous. On the flip side it can be a dead card some games. At worst it’s an upgraded innervate.
Zilliax! It’s absolutely core for this kind of deck. Because putting bombs in your opponents deck is terrible for tempo, you need cards like Zilliax that not only trade but remains on board and heals.
Supercollider is better/more versatile then gore howl. (I love gorehowl but weapon removal will always be a thing and it’s so expensive).
I’m sure there are other new neutral cards that could go in but I can’t remember them.
This will see TONS of play. Especially in Wild. Huge value and it only costs 2 mana to fill your hand. If the text read Battlecry - Fill hand with 5 random mage spells, just from a 2/2 2 drop the world would be exploding. Basically that's exactly what this card is. This card is broken in the value it generates. Absolutely busted in Wild getting Tomes, Portals you name it. Completely insane. Not to mention you can discover this from other elementals and other means. Mages ran Cabalist's Tome all the time. This card shits all over Tome. Draw the same or double the cards for less than half the mana cost plus you get a 2/2 body.
Many people have already corrected your previous rant in this SAME FORUM on how you mis understood the card text Mr ‘Arena Master’.
For the last time, it’s spells cast T H I S T U R N. How many times does an average mage deck cast 5 spells in a turn? Maybe once a year? Mage spells are normally expensive, the cheap ones are not really run in anything except quest mage which will probably make some serious value with this card.
Just so people realize how broken this card is Shimmering Tempest has a Arena rating of 127 which is in the higher end of the ''Good'' spectrum. Mana Cyclone has extra +1 health, the effect is immediate not a Deathrattle like Tempest and you can generate multiple cards. Even if you just pull 2 of this that is absolutely insane for a 2 drop. Granted you can't play this on 2 mana like you can Tempest but that's literally the only downside. The Arena power level of this card will be one of the best in the game.
I think you are over rating the arena strength. Mage decks in arena are not exactly full of spells. You will have to dump spells at potentially awkward times to then spend an extra 2 mana to get random spells. It’s good but not broken.
By useful I guess you mean overpowered neutral legendaries that were so unbalanced they went into every aggro, mid range and control deck in the meta? I agree it was way better to see the same legendaries over and over again every game (because they were so useful). I’m guessing Loatheb falls into the useful category.
Why are people bringing up Mecha'Thun? It won't work with Mecha'Thun unless hunter gets a 4 mana 'kill everything on your side of the field'.
Dead card, should've been paladin or warrior and even then, do you want egg synergy? All Hunter has when it comes to mech deathrattle synergy are bombs and the neutral whelp.
How does this happen every expansion. People claim to know the strength of a card before any of the set has even been released. The whole point of a set is the cards are often synergistic to each other, or/and to other sets. This already has crazy synergy with whelp and spider, lets see what else it works with later.
I just played a real fun game where I somehow managed to play Emeriss in a control warrior deck (can’t remeber how) , which doubled a Leeroy Jenkins with facelss manipulator for lethal. The guy (playing odd pally of course) added me to say one thing:
”Your mother will soon die in a car crash”.
He then removed me before I could reply. There are some seriously miserable fucked up people who choose to play this game.

I’m really enjoying Maly rogue With Galakrond. Maly rogue has regularly been a thing for a few expansions at least.

I just went 12-2 in the brawl with big spell mage and didn’t see one warrior after 7 wins. It was all murloc pally, quest shamen and giants mage.

I feel like it will re cast the original un-upgraded spell. So 1 armour :(

Are shitting me? The card art is outstanding. Hearthstone pleasers truly are impossible to please...

They expect people to pay money for packs that will have this trash in it.
This card is an insult to the players.

Please tell us all what awe-inspiringly “fun” deck you play that qualifies you to comment on control decks. It must be quite amazing!
