Maexxna has never seen any play on ladder - seven games in which she 'works' notwithstanding. There are plenty of six-drops which are simply better, as her stat-line isn't nearly good enough to compete with Sylvanas, Emperor, Highmane, or a number of other commonly-used cards. Against aggro decks, she is unplayable - the tempo loss from playing her for six mana, in order to kill a 2/1 or 3/1 a turn later, will simply kill you. Conversely, if you are including her in order to deal with your opponents' big threats, she will also be too slow - BGH battlecries, and Maexxna doesn't, nor does she attack through taunts. And with only 2 Attack, there are plenty of commonly-played 2-drops that present a bigger offensive threat to your opponent. Probably, she'll kill two minions when she 'works'. But so will Boulderfist Ogre - and unlike Maexxna, BO does present a threat to your opponent, yet still isn't good enough to compete with the usual suspects at 6-mana.
