You can expect a legendary every 20 packs. Your result of 1 after 35 cards is highly common and totally likely.
If that is so, then I would like someone to explain why I have opened roughly 300 packs over the entire time I have played hearthstone and over a few different accounts, I haven't gotten a single Legendary. I had a friend who made a new account he opened the free pack they give you. He got Leeroy Jenkins and Cenarius. On his regular account he opened 50 packs last night.( A Random combination of TgT, GvG, and classic packs) He opened 12 legendaries.
I see the F2P players as either stingy people, or just broke. But if you're that broke that you can't afford $1.99 on a game you shouldn't be playing any games to begin with. You should be re-accessing your priorities in life.
6 drop is highly competitive. In general I'd keep the board clears to my auchenai combo or a holy nova which is enough board clear. & put down a great legendary turn 6 for a better curve, but we'll see where the meta takes us.
I don't think this will work with Prophet Velen as it's a minion battlecry, not a hero power or spell. Would be pretty insane if it did. You can fantasize about a rush deck with this card, but I don't see this in any of my priest control decks.
I never used the 1 mana control turn 1. Use it turn 2 or 3. Starting off with a doubled health then an inner fire. Thoughtstealing his 20 dmg per hit weapon is also nice. It took me a ridiculous amount of deck revisions and tries to down him. I got him to 1hp and needed 1 mana crystal to win before a string of losses again. How I won was the taunt was a 14/14, whacked em in the face and he whacked me twice with the weapon on em and he had 15hp by then.
I went into Hearthstone to play Naxx like the good old days expecting to be forced to grind spell hit for 4 horseman, forced to spend thousands of gold on saph and kt, 8 warrior tanks for 4horseman, multiple wipes on razuvious due to "developing a strat,"
Conventional priest doesn't work at all vs Maex!! I spent an hour wiping after 1 shotting everyone, Heroic Grand widow I used two lightwells and she was dumb enough to leave it up all game. But heroic maex is very hard. Basically I ironbeak owl turn 2 on the spider, turn 3 mind control tech. Basically spamming ironbeak owls - regaining control, stealing minions with mind control tech, then an aoe clear. BGH is for the sea giant. I never use mad bomber but kept em in the deck, because by mid game i've stolen 4 spiders and have a bunch of 1/1s on board. The goal for beating Maex is to control the start, she has no card draw and her cards are very weak. silences are very handy because of the 0/2 egg and the ~8x duplicate spider card. if your behind and nova now you're even more behind with a shitload of 1/1 spiders and a 4/4 so u can see how silence is crucial. Once they are all silenced and u do a board wipe you've won the game as she will be top decking. She wins by being immune to board clears via deathrattles and you unable to keep up even with the occasional board clear as it's instantly regained by her. At the end of the game you gradually flood the board. when her board is wiped and her hand is empty your board should be completely full of 2-3 mana costs to be immune of her auto cast hero power. In this deck her hero power helps you! constant 2 mana silences are overpowered, refreshing an argent commander every turn late game, a mind control tech. it just adds up over time.

This card is god awful unplayable unless silenced. Imagine if they see they the cards you discarded. Massive disadvantage.

Soulfire taunt, Minions with battlecry cost (2) more.
