I have been playing pretty much daily since BRM and I don't buy packs anymore because of how expensive the game is here Australian pack prices are a little more than the Canadian prices you listed. I tend to buy the preorder but am even thinking of stopping that.

I was "fine" with the 2 big and 1 adventure release. You paid 25$ and get like 4-6 legendarys and the rest of the set, while the next 4 month you could save up for the next BIG release. Without the break the game has become a lot more expensive.
What should i say? I understatnd that someone that likes to play arena can play the game for free.... but if i pay like 200€ per release and still have to grind that is way to much in my eyes. The "playtime to gold that you get" is a joke, if you dont have quests up.

I'm speaking as a Canadian here. Current prices are the following:
- 2p: $3.75
- 7p: $12.49
- 15p: $25
- 40p: $63
- 60p: $88
I get Blizz needs to make money. Also that they charge what the market will bear and that I shouldn't complain because F2P yadda yadda.
However, getting a decent number of packs for those of us willing to put money into a game we like and would like to support is very expensive for what we end up getting. I could buy multiple full high-production games elsewhere for the cost of these bundles.
I think it's high time Blizz lowered prices somewhat to more palatable levels.

I get all "Ahhhh maybe later I will play" but I never do. Then I play and lose and drop to the lower rank and I keep playing mroe until i say Iam done.

To answer your question, you don't see them because you are much higher rank than them, which should be obvious and makes me think this is just a thread to brag. You will never see a 40% WR player at rank 5, let alone legend, and the only people who talk about their WR on forums like this only do it if it's impressive. It's like asking a group of men to volunteer to tell everyone how well endowed they are. The only people who will do it are those that are far above the average.

It's still early, but I have to agree with OP that it looks promising so far.
Clearly they are trying to slow things down which is good, but... this could open the door for Jade Golems to take over, and that makes me nervous.
Still, for now, I remain quietly optimistic.

I think these quest cards are awesome and opens the door for a lot of creativity with regards to deck building. I would love to use this in a resurrect/N'Zoth deck.
The only real shame is that because it is a legendary card, it's somewhat expensive to craft. So I hope I open at least one of these quests cards on day one.

I can't agree with you more. I have been playing the game a very long time, and this is the first expansion where I am actually struggling to have fun with it.
I watched the EU Winter Championships over the weekend, and even just watching the best pro players play was repetitive and kinda boring. Seeing the frustration on Thjis's face after his first loss against an aggro line-up summed it all up for me. I think even they are having a tough time at the moment.
However, I'm still positive Team 5 can pull this around. We've had some great expansions/adventures like League or Explorers and Whispers. I'll definitely give them another chance or two to make things great again...

It seems the community is rather divided at the moment on whether the current meta is healthy or unhealthy, stale or diverse, and fun or not-fun. If I had to put money on it, I am sure the majority of people feeling positive would be people leaning towards an aggro play style, while those on the negative end are more control based.
So? What is the situation really... According to Ben Brode and Dean Ayala from their live stream the current meta is quite diverse and they consider the state of the meta based on diversity and win rates as healthy. Except they admit that the pirate package used by Warrior, Shaman and Rogue is higher than they like, and might intervene at some point.
Now, is it fun though? For me, after playing the last two years and loving the game, I'm struggling to have fun at the moment. Some will agree, and others will disagree with me; and that's ok... I just like it better when games are about skill and strategy, instead of seeing who can kill the other person before turn six.

As a side note, I would like to see the ability to ban a class when playing Casual. (Enough with facing Shamans 1 in every 4 games, even in casual...)
