posted a message on Priest is back into the meta... sigh

I enjoy that there is more than one archetype of priest now, the new stealing cards are very interesting in my opinion, too. So many people complaining about the games being too long... I actually enjoy games that are not just decided by who can do more face damage within the first five turns. Some people like games that take more than five minutes where you have to think several turns ahead and try to create as much value as possible.

You play an aggressive deck and hate playing against priest(or any kind of control deck) because you lose after 15 minutes+?  You clearly doing something wrong, if you can't tell the game is over when your aggrodeck hasn't beaten the other deck by turn 10 and you keep playing, that is your own fault. I played against a face hunter yesterday who only conceded after he played the very last card in his deck. I was at 20+ health the whole game and had have control over the board since turn 5. But it sure was my fault the game took so long...

Solution: remove Priest from Hearthstone, makes people toxic

posted a message on Counter hell rank 1-5?

So funny reading all these theories on unfair match making, this must mean that there are a bunch of people out there who blizzard decided to only let them play their most favorable match ups, man they must be lucky as hell! Or maybe all the hard counters that play against you are blizzard employees, out there to get you?

posted a message on Does everyone like that this game has gone "full casino mode"?
    Quote from Roadie >>

I remember back when you sort of had to think about plays, only had to "play around" a few copies of broken/powerful cards.  Or when matchups werent so polarizing where even your "worst" ones were still worth playing out.  What happened?  How or why did this game turn into a slot machine?  Why do we have to face decks that literally end up with like 50 or 60 cards?  Or, decks that end up with like 4-5 copies of super strong cards that you really shouldnt get to have more than TWO of.  How is this good for the game?  Theres a reason why powerful cards have deck limits and stuff.  Right?

Yeah, yeah, no one liked pure curvestone either  but did it have to go this far?  Cant we balance it a little better between *some* randomness and "crazy" plays and good old class-only identities/cards?  A lot of games you can instantly concede because your chances of winning are somewhere around 0%.  And how can you plan out or deal with things that shouldnt even happen?  I dont get the attraction to this 100% randomized casino we have now.  No skill, no nothing.  Just chuck them dice out there....ya know???? :(

So if it is 100% randomness then how can you have 0% match ups? Do you have a problem with too much rng or with overpowered deck(s)?

posted a message on Face Hunter - What’s the counter?

Galawarrior with the enrage mechanics and armorsmiths do the trick for me. Since they are usually stupid af and just go face I had it several times that they ignored my armorsmith, I got to play out multiple minions and then damage them or trade them into their stupid snakes, on occasion copying a damaged armorsmith to gain upwards of 20 armor. Sometimes they concede right away, sometimes they rage quit a couple of turns later when their hands is empty, my armor intact and my board about to kill them. Either way it makes me happy.

posted a message on Newbie question regarding Dragon Master Bundle:
    Quote from HarrySeaward >>

Being new to HS, I recently purchased the Dragon Master Bundle as a means of getting some good single player content and the 25 card packs.

I understand that the description of the bundle says that you must complete the "introductory missions" to gain access to the card packs, but what exactly are the introductory missions?

I have completed the first chapters of both the League of EVIL and the League of Exploreres, but alas no card packs.

    Thanks for the help.

Are you maybe confusing the single player content called "rise of galakrond" and the card pack bundle? The first gives you access to the single player adventure, where you unlock certain cards once you beat it and the second just gives you card packs from the year of the dragon.

and im sitting at 75% win with highlander galakrond shaman..

go ahead, ask for buffs. I dont mind

Yeah that is what I am thinking, have you guys played shaman? It is fine, actually. I think everybody just assumes it is dead since it was nerfed twice, but it actually is still a strong class. Just because it isn't as popular does not mean it is weak. It's just not an autopilot-win-every-game-class anymore, which no class should be.

Maybe so you can give an old otk a new name by adding a new legendary?

posted a message on Blizzard just cant resist the infinite value decks?

You face pogo rogues a lot? All I see on ladder right now (7-9eu) is aggro decks like mech-hunter, midrange-hunter, mech-paladin and murloc-shaman as well as cc-mage, either dragon or cyclone-build. Meaning you either die turn 6 because a bunch of big as mechs hit your face or you die turn 8 because a bunch of big as giants hit your face. No room for infinite value anywhere to be found.
