I think it's good they're changing old cards so that they do not limit card design. RIP the good ole' Baron-Steed decks though.

It is true that, you very rarely win when Malygos and Archmage Antonidas gets played. But that is the same as the fact that you NEVER win when you are at 10 hp and the opponent pyroblast your face.
Hearthstone rewards card for being sitiuationel. Malygos and Archmage Antonidas needs very specific hands and board-stage to work, and if you are not able to create that, then they are just dead cards. Along with pyroblast, they only work great as game finnishers, and are absolutely horrible everything else.
So yes they are "AUTO-WIN cards" when they are played, but a waist of space in your hand when they are not, and do not guaranty a win even though they are in your hand.

I opened both Mekgineer Thermaplugg and Foe Reaper 4000. I've manage to find use for them in grinder mage, and they are really fun when they work! I think you should craft whatever seems to be the most fun, ranked play does not give any real reward, so there is no reason to worry about it.

Cheap how? Is it because, it is somehow unfair to win a game, with a deck that cost under 10K dust? Or is it unfair to have a win-condition that does not reguire a 7+mana card?
Cheap mana cards? 1 warsong 2 forthing beserkers = 9 mana, and with you having 7 minions, there must have been 3 whirlwind effects to make the beserkers at 26 each, so that must be two normal whirlwinds and a deathbite. All in all 11mana plus a deathbite from the turn before. That is a two turn 15 mana combo, which is only possible with emperor and a GOD-like hand. How is this "cheap mana"?
Add an acidic swamp oze to your deck for these situations, and don't overextend, it is really not that hard! And stop investing your dust in Netdeck's if you don't have the skills to adapt the deck to the current meta.

Against a face hunter that did not even give me a back greeting in the start of the game, but started spamming "thanks" when ha got me to 1 hp with a explosive trap. I slammed down Mal'ganis and ended up winning the game!
The hunter friend requested me and keept spamming hate messages for 5 minutes.
It felt so good................. ;-3

So Baron Geddon and Illidan Stormrage has the same stats. The effect of those two is very different off cause, so I see how they cannot be directly compared to each other. But they both seems to only get one turn to generate value, and then they absorb some removal, as they becomes the priority targets.
So how many tokens do you need from Illidan's, to make his value equal to Baron's AOE?
Or is this not a question of direct value, but more of which one has the highest speed?
