posted a message on Hogger Disenchant?

The ladder is never going to be slow enough, that you will be able to gain consistent value from him. But he is a "fun" card, and he might be awesome in some tawern brawl in the future.

400 dust is not really that hard to get, so I would not say that he is worth disenchanting.

posted a message on nerf Force of Nature + Savage Roar?

I have hated the Savage Roar + Force of Nature from day one as well, but I fear that a nerf at this point is just going to remove the class from the game.

Again the charge mechanic creates problems, but that combo has been there for so long and I am not sure if it limits any design of future cards? It is not a fun deck to play against, but I do not think that we ever will see a nerf ;(

If we do it would probably be do to there being to many "sticky-minions" which just makes the deck to strong.

posted a message on Patron Warrior is not dead? Just tell me that I'm dreaming...

When i played the old patron, the warsong commander almost didn't matter when i played against hunter or ebola-din. So with all the aggro decks back on ladder, it might be possible to still get a 50%+ winrate.

posted a message on Beginner - struggling with rankes

I would advice you to watch some intruction videos

    https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvEIxIeBRKSjprrvlbAcbVjzHsnH9PjDX

And try some of the other free to play decks.

Arena is also a good place to start, instead of constructed, as everybody is on equal grounds. Minion trades and tempo is what is important in arena, and that is also what you need in constructed, to be able to see how a deck should be played.

posted a message on Why is there no trading?

    1. You can abuse it by farming or hacking other peoples accounts.

    2. You will end up in the situation of trying to trade bad cards for good cards, which is probably going to cost the same as crafting. Is there anyone who would like to trade my 50 wisps for a Ragnaros? The answer will be NO!

Crafting is the same as trading, but better. The prizes are constant, but there is no way that you can abuse it.

posted a message on Shield Slam OP. Nerf?

The more divine sheild and deathrattle spawning minions that is in the game, the weaker is minion-damage-removal, such as weapons and sheild slams.

So sheild slam might get less situational with each expantion, as it gets easier to gain big amounts of armor, but it also gets weaker as more minions needs multiple hits to be removed.

And with control warrior being the only warrior left to keep some of the face decks in check, I refuse to see any of the staple cards being changed.

posted a message on My Video Response to the Warsong Commander Nerf

Exactly, the nerf is needed but at a time where Secret Paladin threatens to take over the meta. Some people might end up missing the influence that Grimpatron warrior had. Even though it really was a "no fun" match up.

posted a message on Patron Warrior still alive after Warsong nerf
    Quote from wg15 >>

+1 for someone with brain. This worked before and will still work.

    What he said...

Yeah it is alive, but all the different win conditions has gotten weaker compared to the Frothing Berserker version. The Warsong Commander "mass charge" made the deck very versatile, and created a lot of ways to OKT the opponent.

The Raging Worgen deck has always been there, but it only has one OTK combo, so it is never going to be as consistent as the old GP Warrior.

But Rampage has some good synergy with Grim Patron, and was a card that I tried to fit in the GP Warrior deck, but as GP Warrior got more and more fine tuned, it became more and more centered around the Whrilwind effects, so Rampage just didn't make the cut in terms of "one turn value". The deck might become viable with one or two cards from future expantions, but as it is now, it is just not good enough to be top tier.

posted a message on Upcoming Balance Change to Warsong Commander

How fitting that I just earned my "Warsong Commander title" the same day that it is anounced that the card will be nerfed to oblivion!

And yeah now the deck is dead and will never be seen again. I admit that is was frustrating to play against, as you really can't tell from the board if you are winning or losing. But with Patron we had something to control all the face deck, and now when patron dissapears they will be back ;P

posted a message on What are we going to complain about now?

The dark times of Midrange Hunter will be back! And then it will disappere do to facehunter... It is the old Hearthstone where everyone is hating Hunter, but maybe Secret and Eboladin can co-exits with Hunter and make the all new super-face meta of hearthstone?

In-short people is just going to hate on aggro from now on, because that is what people will be playing.

posted a message on You shouldnt be able to drop ranks in ladder

I like the idea in that all the farmers would end up getting trapped with each other, and make the new players able to "escape" the farmer ranks.

But to have the ranks to work as "checkpoints" will just take out the challenge. Even the most gimmicky decks can get a 5-winstreak, so getting to legend might become to easy. It might be balanced by making each rank being 10 or 20 stars (so you don't just rank up by luck), but then the ladder just end up being an even bigger grind than it already is ;P

Though I will say that the ladder system a bid too simple, so some change would be nice.

posted a message on Possibility of solo adventures getting cheaper?

There is no reason for them to lower the prices, if people are still buying them, and people will keep buying them as long as some of the cards are viable.

So they will probably not lower the prices before all the cards are rendered useless do to powercreep, and that will take YEARS.
