Soo, for most games I replaced Mimic Pot and Shaku with double lashers. I topped at Rank 1 and even dropped again yesterday.
I summarised: I really love this deck and it was a lot of fun, but I will just play some Tier 1 now to get the legendary dust :-O

I am sure this can go legendary too, but it takes a lot of effort (~300+ games in a season).

    Thank you!

I thought about the lashers more. For the way this deck works it might be even better to swap Shaku and Mimic Pod or maybe even Thalnos for the lashers?! I agree that the weak turn two hurts quite a bit against quick decks, whilst turn 3 Shaku also feels too slow pretty often in this deck.

Removing two value cards shapes the game plan a bit more to all-in early then be kind of patient for full value auctioneer turn.

Overall the lashers are a good idea for sure. I would cut Shaku before the deckhand tho. The deckhand is a shadowstep target, it pulls patches, it charges in cold bloods, it is a 1 mana card (as you can't play double coin here) - I really believe the deckhand is better than the lasher in this build - the Shaku is more argueable :)

Still I will test this idea too! :)

Might try a second deckhand. But the charge is essential in this build for many games to kill fast enough (e.g. Quest Rogue).

I am sorry if it sounded a bit too harsh, didn't mean to!

And I did test some of your additions but come on, do you really think playing Giants and kicking out the double spell hallucination is something one wouldn't question? It just feels so wrong. I played mainly rogue since december and went through many versions. My conclusion at the moment is: either full value with giants or full tempo with cold blood, the in between stuff just increases the turns when you don't know how to play the game out, as your game plan is even more undefined and far less flexible without the hallucinations.

Sorry again, I wasn't hating I was just a bit upset that this decklist gets upvoted so much - I appreciate your will to keep the ladder interesting tho :)

Besides the terrible addition of sprint and leaving the super strong Sherazin out, I can't see anything new there.
... after a while I realised you left out hallucination - sorry I can't take this serious anymore after seeing it.

Since I am playing many different miracle Rogue versions, I am positive about one conclusion I drew: either cold bloods OR giants, with both you are just making your deck awkward especially as you are only having one charge minion, that is usually not around for too long.
If you are interested in my current "tempo" miracle version:

Currently rank 2 as I didn't have too much time to play and playing some other decks for fun/and daily quests too.

I like Track-o-bot as it needs less CPU power when playing on weaker computers.

    Hey Sonic371,

actually I played it also without Shaku for quite a bit. You can play 2x SI7-Agent (better against aggro) or 2x Vilespine (better against control Warrior and Control/Midrage Paladin).
I would not recommend replacing it with Xaril, as it is too weak and does usually not require removal spells.
Another option would be the Eater of secrets when you are facing many Mages and Paladins.

    Cheers,

Those few Rogues out there that really work hard for getting those Giants out - LET THEM AT LEAST HAVE THAT and be happy they don't play Quest :D

posted a message on This expansion has been pretty good, but what's the biggest let down to you?

Other than the very high number of unplayable legendaries, I am a bit bored by the three decks pretty much forcing everybody who doesn't like these into playing aggro - named Burn Mage, Quest Warrior and Quest Rogue.

This is exactly what I thought, but as I was tired of playing all the other decks I just tried it and it was much stronger than I thought at first. Turn 4 Finja is simply insane and the extra burst damage from the warlock cards make this so much faster than the Paladins. I mean I don't have a huge samplesize, but the all together 14 games I played worked out stunningly well - can totally outsmorc Pirate Warriors e.g..

Just give it a try, I also couldn't believe it before I played it - and so it helped me out of the Rank 1 struggle finally.

    edit:
Of course if this deck was around more often, it would be quite a bit weaker. The surprise factor was very important for some matchups.
