i wasnt looking forward for kobolds either, set looked pretty dull. it spawned interesting archetypes though and i had fun a couple of weeks. so i guess it will be the same with this one. i wont spend even a single penny on hs anymore, though.
There are many bad cards in the game, but the cards I dislike the most are
Tinkmaster Overspark and Nat Pagle. Both were heavily played back then, when the card pool was really small and those were good all arounders. But instead of just give the game some time they were nerfed into oblivion, although the game desperatly needs a neutral Polymorph and Pagle was pretty inconsistent before anyway.
I ran a list without Faceless and Prince and it worked well. I often felt that Faceless was just too clunky and Cubes (2x) are good enough to multiply Doomguards. Prince would be a solid addition, but I stay back from crafting it for now and wait for the upcoming meta.
Mountain Giants have always been solid in control variants of Warlock and will be in the meta every now and then.
The skull is mandatory for the deck and the only questionable craft, since we dont know hof rotations or the upcoming meta. I highly doubt Doomguard will be removed from standard though, the cards is pretty balanced.

deck folds to dirty rats, coldlight oracles, deathlords and clunky draws. getting 12 wins is just highrolling on rng
