There are a lot of things here that came true. The field effects, the dredge mechanic, aqua theme, more murlocs and lot of other stuff. Nice work from 2020 :D
Every single quest and hero card should rotate... some are fine but the ones that are NOT are oppressive AF I cant outvalue something that has infinite value... and that just with 1 card! Come on... it gets boring... I want a board based match and not a "lets play this card and the rest is easy". With that the new cards will just be not worth it... also: fuck druids...
People think its stronger that is is... if you really want to dredge this every time you dredge you are welcome but I think it will be something that not a lot of people play with. Its not even remotely as strong as jade cards, games these days never go to fatigue (except warlock) and because its NOT a hunter card getting this reliable (or even every turn to make it worth) this will not see a lot of play. In hunter this would be very strong. Druid? Nope.
Not really. Bottom of your deck are cards that you would not otherwise draw in 99% of the games. So you get info what cards you cant play this round (because you dont get them) and one of them you get. If you have 2 flame strikes at the bottom for example you know that you will not draw any if you dont dredge them. There are also cards that put cards at the bottom because they are so powerful so no. The watcher is worse.
That is a good cheat card! You have to build a deck specifically around nagas and spells to get value and switch while playing them. Good one that needs some thinking to pull off.
I still like HS and I play it now for something 7 or 8 years I think. The problem we currently have is that draw is cheap, cost reduction is everywhere and tutoring cards is easy. Barrens was for me a FANTASTIC expansion! UiS on the other hand was a red flag for me... the quests are just to easy to complete and you have tem done turn 6-7 and get mostly infinite value. I remember the first iteration of quests. I really loved them back then. The second wave of quest was questionable bth. and now the third is cancer...
I think the meta will be a lot healthier with the rotation of the old sets that have a lot of draw and cost reduction. I think the meta should be a bit better then but I really hope they throw out the quests... they limit so many games. The only positive thing about them is that i give up as soon as the quest pops up. I dont want to waste my time with my home brew decks vs fast and infinite value monsters...
Do you mean the stupid 1 mana card that aggro and token decks abuse because they counter almost every 2. card of the opponent? It was stupid to begin with and I really hate those uninteractive 90% spell decks.
The only problem is that you can play it without the restrictions if you are just running spells. The control warrior that uses it is completely fine (also runs other dragons). I would say "Discover a treasure for each dragon in your deck". So that you NEED to run dragons. The more the better the card is.

No because you know what you will NOT draw in this game. Watcher dont give you any kind of information WHERE the cards are. Thats the difference.

This is neither good in rez priest, has something to do with minions a rez priest plays or is even a rez priest card...

Duels is interesting and I sometimes give it a try. But its not a main concern to me :)
