Statistically, you are no more likely to have 'bad luck,' bad draws, bad beats, tough opponents, and so forth than any other player. We all experience these things. Maybe you should take a break from playing for a bit, maybe watch some streamers and see how they play; that always helps improve my game. I recommend Trump and The Hearthstone Power Hour. You don't need a deck of legendaries to win games, people have proven this many times.
The one thing I don't like is that when you collect most of the cards and are only missing a few legendaries and epics, it's not worth it to spend gold or $$$ on packs as the odds of you getting all extra cards is extremely high. It really is a genius business model.
It's one thing if players are genuinely thinking about the best decision to make, but it's another thing entirely when people are deliberately slow-rolling and BM'ing. The best thing you can do is squelch, and play courtesouly yourself in order to try and propagate a respectful play envrionment.
I have collected 1600 dust through arena runs and disenchanting duplicates and golds but I can't decide what to craft. I am leaning towards Dr. Boom or Neptulon. I currently have the following:
I made a shadowpriest deck 2 days ago thats completely wrecking the ladder. 100% winrate against control warrior and hunter and control paladin (maybe 5 games agast CW, 7 against hunter 2 against paladin). Weak against only mage and rougue. Ill post it up after I take it to legend next season (only Rank 6 atm, no time to get it to legend this season).
Care to share your deck list? I haven't had as much success as you; I got stuck at around rank 9. I also did excellent vs control warrior but not so hot vs other classes on average.
Control Priest: While good/great versus aggro, gets trounced hard by control warrior and handlock (two of the most prevalent decks atm)
I beg to differ. Control warrior is one of the best match-ups for my priest deck; I often run out their entire deck until they fatigue. Handlock is about 50% at worst, Lightbomb does work on giants.
Is anyone still playing this deck? I'm still looking for ways to deal with Mechanical Yeti's and all the other things with higher toughness that doesn't get cleared by Lightbomb. Right now I took out the Explosive Sheep and the Spellbreaker and subbed in two Doomsayer's. I also took out the Loatheb and added a Stampeding Kodo.
What do you think are the most satisfying ways to win?
Personally I've had quite a few satisfying wins with my Priest deck.
Outlasting a control warrior opponent who draws their entire deck and plays all those expensive legendaries. I've actually won games where the enemy had +36 armor.
Killing a Lord Jaraxxus's weapon as soon as he's summoned then killing Jaraxxus.
Fatiguing your opponent simply by countering all of their threats and healing yourself with Antique Healbots and so forth.
I see a shift to more control oriented decks that are able to stifle aggro decks pretty consistently. I think priest is one of the strongest classes right now as it can slower control decks in attrition battles and it can survive aggro decks. Control warrior and priest are rampant at rank 10 and under. I also think control hunter, hand/demonlock, and various mid-rangey-controlly paladins are popular right now. Mech mage is also a thing but slightly less common. I see very few shaman, rogue, and druid decks on the ladder.
Are you getting a lot of value out of the Explosive Sheep? I'm finding it to be a dead card most of the time and I was wondering what to replace it with.

It's a bit buggy for me. When I'm entering my results and so forth the page often freezes and I have to reload and it doesn't save.
