The theory is you generate Sorcerer's Apprentice with Simulacrum which will then cost zero after reduction from the elemental. The concept is pretty basic and provides for constructing the deck in a more efficient manner that doesn't completely rely on the quest.
I mean Tar Lord is a Good card but it offers zero pressure whatsoever. I would rather you run double bogcreeper if you still want to go the taunt route since it can be used both offensively and defensively due to it's great stat distribution.
i haven't coached people in Hearthstone but I've done coaching in Dota 2. Personally, I feel if you can get to rank 5 you are already a more than decent player. Going above and beyond that simply requires time and extreme dedication. It was the same for Dota 2, no amount of coaching will make you better at the game unless you actually spend A LOT, and I mean A LOT, of time playing.
Sounds like your gameplay issues will be solved by playing more as they did for the guys I coached in Dota 2. It's not like there is zero merit in coaching but it usually should just be reserved for people who are new at the game or people who are just bad at card games (as they may be more suited for another gaming genre see FPS, MOBA, MMORPG etc.).
As a fellow yugioh player I have to agree that the term 'Exodia' is used very lightly and that the only thing that comes close is Uther of the Ebon Blade and Exodia Mage (which can ignore iceblock if you build it in a very particular way :p), I don't mind it too much though. At least yugioh is remembered for some of its iconic signature cards and not the ugly thing its become now. I really hope the next format if it survives this one goes back to basics. You know you've fucked up when seasoned players start leaving immediately.
I mean if you want to make sure the card never sees play then sure increase its cost to 4 mana. Whether or not you bump up its stats is irrelevant. The thing that makes the card good is it's low cost and decent statline thereby ensuring it isn't tempo suicide.
As it stands, the card won't see play in aggressive decks because they need the tempo and it will be extremely fringe for tempo decks thereby making control decks the only real carriers and even then it'll be a 1 of. Additionally, the weapon cards have to be good and show-up in tier 1 decks for oozes to be relevant. At the present time the weapons revealed are mediocre at best. Time will tell, but none of the weapons seem good enough to warrant double ooze let alone having them nerfed.
Conceding right after their main win condition is pulled doesn't mean they're salty, just means that their mind has realised that their chances of winning have gone from X% to below 1% and rather than put in the effort to gain the experience of how to pilot the match-up to some degree of success, they choose to just move on to the next game. This is either done due to time constraint or them not really caring about learning the deck since they play standard and it'll be replaced soon enough anyway.
It's kind of like back in the old days when queuing Freeze Mage into Control Warrior was considered an auto-loss and only a very select few would play every game out even against warrior cause there was always that 1% chance you won.

Congratulations dude. Onwards and upwards I say. Sooner you'll be a rank 5 regular and after that legend. Just take your time :)

Ragnaros the Firelord, Dr. Boom, Ysera, Alexstrasza are all good options. However, if you want to go cheaper than one Bonemare is also pretty sick. As far as this list is concerned, Tirion Fordring is by far the most replaceable card! :)

It's a conspiracy obviously! ;)

I see what you're going for here and although I am not a huge fan of the archetype, kudos for trying something new.
Two things jump out at me that I would like to see changed: -1x Fiery War Axe | +1x Dead Man's Hand and -2x Tar Lord | +1x Deathwing & +1x Cairne Bloodhoof. Might as well go big :)
