This probably works like defile in the sense that each tick read the current amount of spell damage on board, so if you have something like tainted zealot or bloodmage thalnos it can do potentially much much more damage or just die immediately

I think even early game this card will be good at clearing small boards and good trades against aggro so it's better than it looks on first glance

Well seeing as Warrior warrior is getting three legendaries this expansion its not really a wasted slot is it. Most legendaries dont have synergy with each other from the same set

well mage is in a terrific place and has been for a long time now with a number of viable meta decks in legend. S

top pretending you play anything other than Tempo secret mage anyway.

The argument on paywalls is completely irrelevant when you're discussing items which are purely cosmetic and aimed at collectors. Choose your battles.

This card should not be epic.  it's clearly a staple of the archetypal deck and goes alongside cards like kobold librarian and shinyfinders. 

Instead of actually being an epic it's just a bottleneck stopping you from actually building a decent rush deck. This is a poor show on a good card and is the exact issue people refer to when discussing the cost of the game.

I don't have an issue with the cost of the game but this the  best example of that argument  and the first one I agree with 

The good thing about HS is that its F2P. 

You can be competitive and reach high legend ranks without paying a single dollar. 

I'm a f2p player since 2015 and I can play any deck I want. Don't really care about new hero portraits and shiny cardbacks

As someone who experimented with End of Turn Quest Lock a lot the last months, I love it! Card draw was missing with Malchezaar's Imp and Darkshire Librarian, also it synergizes well with Clutchmother Zavas (pinging quest twice) while Drakkari Enchanter is on the board (which pumps out more Imps with Nether Portal). Cool card!  Also you draw 3 cards without discarding your actual cards in your hand.

Now I strongly feel they printed even more Discard-Support this time! I'm sure one more positive effect card for Discard like Silverware Golem or Tiny Knight of Evil will be shown soon.

This is probably meant for the MidRange Questlock to draw fast through your deck. I prefer Lord Jaraxxus instead of Bloodreaver Gul'dan. It heals more one turn earlier and pressurises the opponent even more (which ideally would be Control oriented)

Eh...okay.  I can see elemental Baku mage being a deck.  Seems super promising!

Early game: every Mage 1drop spell (excluding the Quest) alongside Mana Wyrms and Fire Flys.  Tar Creepers and Igneous Elementals or maybe the new Nightmare Amalgam.  Also possibly an Arcane Artificer or two.  Voodoo Dolls!

Midgame: Mage's new kitty and this guy for draw power and an Arcane Intellect or two.  Simulacrum to copy the aforementioned draw power minions or another good elemental in hand.  Or of course you can copy Voodoo Doll!

Then the endgame plan: Servant of Kalimos's, Blazecallers, Flamestrikes, Baron Geddon and good ol' Frost Lich Jaina.  The fact that the deck earns so much power all game before playing FLJ at the cost of just one dead card is pretty sweet.  It's also why I think Baku Quest Warrior will also be a thing.  Also, did I mention Voodoo Doll?

It's all already here!  If any other new cards in this expansion support this archetype it'll be icing on the cake.  How obnoxious will it be for opponents to play against a deck with Mana Wyrms, Voodoo Dolls and Blazecallers in a deck with FLJ?
