You can tweak it for better early game, although with Pyro + many spells and equality and Consecration, you can claim reset your game and go back strong at midgame.

If you want better early game, try Righteous Protector or even Doomsayers.

Yes, I was with 2 Lost for a long time (since it's a nice setup for Dire wolf and a good follow for Juggler). I just wanted to battle big boards with equality, consecration, and due to the fact that i lost to Odd Paladin before some tweaks, so I had to remove cards.

I like Bonemare for the fact that it generates two threats. Nothing more. I don't like Level Up, because it has a difficult requirement, and such cards clog the hand (you already got Equality that is a setup card), which is bad for Divine favors.

Test, change, re-change and end up with a list. I think that any semi viable deck can get to tier 2 status, given that the player knows what he is doing.

    Have fun.

I don't get the inclusion of Genn. Why would you want the 1 cost hero power here. Your curve is all over the place, so I can't really find a tempo play that benefits from a 1 cost token generation. I'd easily drop Genn and Thalnos for two Righteous Protectors and add Tar Creepers or Stonehill Defenders in this.

Entirely like an aggro. Make your divine favors better by playing as many cards as possible earlier than 4. Try to go as wide, as you think you should (play around MCT against decks that play him or try to avoid Spreading Plague ending your dreams if you have 3 people well buffed and hitting).

Man, there are so many decks. Just don't be blind and test stuff that you like. Play off-meta, have fun, forget about laddering, and you'll probably even get higher in the ranks.

No matter how you see it, you can't make a deck that will beat ALL decks, so accept the fact that most decks cap at 55% WR and players can make it up to 60-65% MAXIMUM, and enjoy the game. 60% win rate, means that you are losing 4 out of 10 games, so ALMOST half of your games will be losses. The climb to legend is just a time grinding to get that nice win rate upstream before you start losing again :)

Don't expect the likes of the 6/6 monstrosity, but the deck has its uses. Also it takes advantage that even if people don't see Baku at the start, the play like they've seen it.

It's because it triggers Secretkeeper actually. The secret goes to your hand. Also he gives more redemptions that are amazing in this list.

How about redesigning the deck to be midrange with Call to arms? Paragon of Light+Dire Wolf Alpha (and buffs), Knife jugglers, earlier boards. And instead of trying to find a finisher, try to win with your sticky board?

Small heads-up. Trying this at Legend (1200-780) ranks, which is identical to rank 3 up to early legend ranks as it seems, and swapped The Lich King for Bonemare. The horse is just better in this list, and I'd urge everyone trying this deck to use it.

Bonemare helps to generate instantly two threats, or buff a ready to attack minion to god-status, I've been enjoying it a lot but I don't think I need 2 in here because the focus needs to be set on the early game.

Also a quick tip: Although hunter is one of the great matchups of this, don't go wide unless you have a clue that you are not facing spell hunter that they usually run Hounds. If you see a Tar Creeper or Stitched orc then play all your hand and watch them charging dinosaurs to Noble Sacrifices.

I'd cut down the costs. You need early board presence to soak up initial hate. You want to protect your Paragon, or Galvadon or Lynessa. In general try adding 1-2 stuff and adding Call to Arms for deck thinning and board creation. Beetles, Hoarders, Righteous Protectors.

I'd cut Equality to 1, and up the Pyromancers to two, since you do need early clears that is fine with Pyro+Many spells. By the time you want to push through the Druid wall, you should have drawn Equality (part of the reason Call to arms is great).

I don't like BoK here, so I'd keep my buffs to 1 Potion, 2 Spikeridged, 2 Sound the Bells, and I don't like the Uther DK or Fordring. They are too easily countered by weapon destruction and Silence that is present in all decks.

Haha, that's nice. However Call to arms is soooo important here.

Shudderwok is not that bad of a matchup though. However it's very dependent on you drawing Call to Arms :)

That's a point that deserves some discussion. Initially, i didn't run Tirion or Lich king. I had Vinecleaver in their place, just because the damage potential was too high, and we had a minor board creation every turn.

With the amount of card thinning/card draw in this, you will find yourself drawing a lot AFTER you have thinned your deck, so you need to draw something that is able to help you close the game OR reset your threats. Vinecleaver did fine, but it had no synergy with the secrets/Hydrologist, so I needed a minion. Any divine shield minion is double trouble with Redemption, so the natural choice was Tirion. However, he was underwhelming, and i noticed that he didn't have a big impact in games that I wasn't winning decisively. The Lich king was better, because it added a card that could potentially threaten even after he is gone.

If Paladin had a more relevant DK to midrange (like Rexxar for instance) able to generate infinite value, then I'd go for it in the spot. Right now that one or two spots in the deck is better suited for cards that can drive your game on their own, so I went for Tarim and Lich king. Having said that, you can be innovative with this one or two slot and try stuff like Argent Commander, The Black Knight, Tinkermaster to battle Hardonox etc.

@ColinThePyro: Tarim helps a lot, call it buff, call it debuff, call it a 3/7 that plays as an emergency button against two giants, Tarim is the single Paladin card that I'd definitely use in every deck I played.

It's a shame that it doesn't work with Secretkeeper though. Although he is amazing for his cost. It's a fish for 2 cards, 3/4 at 4 that creates a board that needs solving if you are leading. Not bad for 4 cost.

Edit: Also, it would help if the new Paladin secret didn't suck.
