After playing mainly Control Blood DK in Standard since the expansion came out I want to play a faster deck for a change.
I consider to craft Pure Paladin for Standard. Here I am missing Kotori Lightblade. After playing against some Pure Paladins I can`t remember to see Kotori in action at all. I wonder how important this card is for the deck.
This doesn`t make a difference for me, because I play HS every week.
But I think this is still a nice change to give new and returning players a better chance to get (back) into the game. This way they can make a more reasoned choice how to invest their gold and dust. :)
Nerubian Weblord counters Pirate Warrior pretty hard and get fast on the board than the Warrior.
With a good draw you can swarm the deck fast enough so you can kill Quest Hunter faster than he can finish his quest. But you need a bit of luck. I think sticky minions with deathrattle or divine shield makes it harder for Hunter to clear your board fast enough.
Its Wild. Move to standard if u want to play competitive
Standard XD ... It`s even more messed up than Wild. In Standard it feels like 80% of all enemies are Pirate Warrior at the moment. I played to Diamond 10 so far in Standard this month and I will switch back to Wild and Classic now. I am so bored of all the PWs in Standard with no hate cards avaible in this format. In Wild there is at least Golakka.
If you want to ladder you will have to craft some cards.
Pirate Warrior should be easy to upgrade if you played Wild back then.
+ 1 legendary quest and 4-5 new pirates, the rest is old stuff.
It is a T1 deck at the moment.

Big Priest should be playable with 3-4 new cards as well. But it is T2 at the moment at best (more like T3 in my opinion). The game plan is still the same.

Also a "ok deck" from the past which is again about T3 "playable" is Secret Mage.

Two stronger but maybe a little bit more expensive to upgrade decks whould be Evenlock and Renolock.

So: How relevant is this minion in the deck?
Is it important, nice to have or even redundant?

Played to Dia 4 in Wild this month so far. I didn`t see any Pirate Warriors. Who plays this deck anymore?
Yeah, there were some Pirate Rogues, but I won against most of them. The deck is "good", but not op. So why nerfing it?
There are decks which are far more frustrating.

This will be such a balance desaster again.
I am not hyped at all. :(

I`ve got the same problem. Didn`t find a solution.
So I made a screenshot, deleted the deck and built it again. Costed me about 5mins.
Annoying yes, but no catastrophe.

Suck Forcerer's Apprentice!

For me Aggro-Druid works fine.

Play Odd Warrior!

Warlock is still "totally fine" in Wild at the moment. Renolock is again playable and Evenlock ist viable too.
3
And Quest Hunters which are destroying PW hard.

Another argument for Aggro Priest:
Just add a few more cards and it is a viable deck to ladder in Wild too.

You can play Aggro Priest without Mindrender Illucia.
Yeah the deck is maybe worse without her but still viable. I don`t have her in my deck too and the deck works for me just fine.
So craft Aggro Priest, see if you like the deck and if so add Illucia later.

There is Classic Mode at least.
If you want old HS play this mode from time to time. I do it myself.
