So far, in priest It's really easy to discount, this synergizes well with many cards, it made holy nova even better, deal 2 damage to all enemy minions, heal your board and yourself for 2 and discount a giant by 1. The new 0 mana card that deals 3 damage to yourself and gives you 2 minions back is really good in priest since even their 1 and 2 cost minions have great effects, in addition to discounting a giant by 1 for 0 and allowing yourself to heal again for another discount. They got rid of mountain giant because of those nasty turn 4 turns, I'm consistently slamming down an 8/8 on turn 4 with flesh giant with priest haha. Great card.

posted a message on Again control is dead in Hs

hearthstone replay shows that the top 7/10 decks are aggressive decks, all tier 1 decks are aggressive decks and furthermore it shows that priest and gally warlock are tier 2 and tier 3 respectively. Their win rates are significantly lower overall at 5% lower than the top rated decks. Now that doesn't sound like a lot, but when thousands and thousands of games are being played, 5% is a significant number. But people shouldn't complain, aggressive decks have historically shaped the meta from the very first Smorc hunter decks. Not everyone likes to play control, many people don't want to play 20 minute games. This is understandable. I think that following 2 years where control was the meta, the HS developers are trying to speed the game up so have printed a lot more aggro tools than control tools. I like to think that whats going on is that after all those hall of fame rotations and card changes they made, that we will see balance within the next 2 or so expansions. Control isn't dead, we are just in the middle of a transition and control has been heavily nerfed. I myself am a fan on control matches because I like to think during my matches, but I plan to be patient and see where they take the game in the future.
