The rule does apply only if you NEVER opened packs from an expansion. If you have opened before the rule it does count, so no guaranteed legendary for 10 packs. The guy who told you otherwise doesn't know what he's talking about.
Congrats for the lucky draw , enjoy them before disenchant, I'm doing the same with Boogymonster :)
that is not true, if so, then me, and my 2 brothers were very lucky to get a legendary within the first 10 packs we bough from each expansion after the update. i can assure you that it does work even if you already bought from that expansion.
You can assure me based on what ? That you and your brothers opened legendaries in 10 packs ?! Check reddit and this forum and see how many people who didn't bought wild packs after the rule and didn't get 10packs guaranteed legendary.
Just for the record, which legendaries you got? (my pitytrackers was 30+, so I do not bought)
you should keep in mind that you will get legendarys from TgT and GvG because when the 10 packs legendary rule came in, they were wild, so if you have not bought any of those sets since then than you will get legendaries.
some people say that it wont work for sets you have already bought from, but i know form experience that is not true.
That did not work for me. I did not buy any GvG or TGT packs after the change (even double checked in my purchase history) and I got no legendaries from those sets.
Because it doesn't matter if you didn't bought packs after the rule. The rule apply only if you NEVER, EVER bought packs for an expansion. If you bought any packs before or after the rule, you will not get a guaranteed 10 packs legendary.
So i purchased the 40 Wild Packs Bundle for 24.99 Euro...i dont even know myself really why i did it. It seemed cheap and i needed dust i guess.
Im playing HS since the start and so far i never seemed to get above averages rates with good cards (Legendaries, Epics ..) when i opened packs. In fact in most cases i invested money to buy new bundles for expasions, it was very frustrating.
So yesterday i openend my 4 * 10 packs and didnt expect to much, because the pitty timer doesnt hit in with different expansions... but then...
5 Legendaries (1 golden), 10 Epics (4 golden) and among the Rares also 5 golden.
Is that a way to make me more motivated in future to buy packs, or have i been just incredibly lucky? Most likely lucky i guess, but still it was almost unreal.
What i do is to dust the golden cards as long as i have 2 regular copies. I also dusted all the golden cards i had from before, when i found a regular card that completed my collection of 2 regulars (example: 1 regular Boar, 1 golden Boar...i found a regular so dusted the golden).
So in the end i got 5 new legendaries (mostly trash, will dust i guess), some epics that i didnt have yet and after dusting an amount of 6000 dust from 40 packs! That was for sure the best purchase i ever made :O
Anyone else who bought it had a similar experience when it comes to "luck"?
You are not luck for the leg. You gain 1 leg in 10 packs if you didnt buy them before. The pity timer is not shared in different expac
Only if you NEVER bought packs. If you bought before the rule, it counts so no guaranteed legendary from 10 packs. And he said he bought packs so he was lucky.

Only crap:)
Hemet Nesingwary (golden)
Skeleton Knight
Madame Goya
Hogger, Doom of Elwynn
Mekgineer Thermaplugg
This is ofc because i already posses the "decent" legendaries from those expansions.
I didnt know the 1leg/10pack applies since the rule was brought to the game. Because i opened already almost 100 packs from all expansions before.
In that case only the 5th legendary was lucky and the golden epics.

When cards are nerfed the first rule is to disenchant all of them. If you find out that they are still playable you can craft them anytime without loosing anything.
I don't play Quest Rogue, but anyone OMEGALULing at the concept of this deck having a high skill cap apparently dismisses as absurd the opinions of everyone on Omnislash. They have all stated it's the or one of the hardest pilots in standard.
As I've seen before, pointing this out only starts a race to see who can be the most petty in finding some fault in the pros and acting as if their opinions are invalid. Personally, I'll take a world champion's word for it.
For some people OMEGALULing is the best way do deal with things that they don't understand. In general those who are saying there is no skill involved in piloting a well known skilled deck are low ranks players or trolls.
