Yeah, the 50 percent win rate algorithm gets fucking obvious after a while. I was starting to call wins and losses before each game, regardless of opponent or deck. 

I have been around since beta and I think this is one of the worst overall metas I've been in. The incessant aggro is just soul crushing. Maybe there have been worse single offenders, like mysterious challenger paladin or whatever the dumb hunter card was, but fuck. Every deck is racing you for a turn 6 kill, and the constant DH and dragon hunters are even worse. I just gotta delete this game. Like, who the fuck thought it'd be fun to make sure that aggro has 2 for 1 cards non-stop. REALLY stoked that they all discovered the dumb fucking 2/1 "deal 1 damage give divine shield" at the same time as well. 

P.S. You mouth breathing DH and Hunter face decks; every time you BM with an autoplay netdeck your parents grow a little more disappointed in you. Its alright though, DH has joined face hunter in my "auto rope" category if I run into them in casual. And I love playing janky control in casual. Enjoy the 20 minute rope fests. :D 

Holy fuck am I done for a few days. I hate that fucking RNG roll that is preprogrammed in (the ActiBlizzard matchmaking patent bullshit); the minute you get a decent win streak going you run head first into a couple matches designed to reset you back to 50 percent. Almost to a rank 5 table, one win away, and I get a topdecking DH who stalled me off long enough (at 7 health) to bring me back down from 24 health to death. One card draw at a time and it was every single one of their "Do 5 things for you cause fuck balance" cards. And yet I can't draw a single out that would've killed him even though my deck is full of them. Okay, fine. Next game, galakrond control priest (i'm highlander dragon priest), and they manage to thoughtsteal and wit out the exact cards needed for every single board state (murazond 3 times, 3 reliquary of souls, stole my shadow madness twice, etc.) My thoughtsteals? I get their divine smite and that 1 mana heal 3 card. Its not even subtle when they decided to put their finger on the scale, holy shit. Honestly, if any dev broke their contract and spilled that fucking tea it'd be the end for Blizzard. 

Why do you have a necrium blade with only 2, potentially 4 deathrattles?  Where's the rush 3/5 dude? Hell, where's Siamat, Barista, and Togwaggle? And with all these dragons shouldn't you go for Frizz as well? I'd drop Mechanical, Cairne, Faceless, Necrium apothecary and blade, and Faerie Dragon. That's 6 spots for these much better cards that do what you want and have more impact long term. I would personally drop one of the 1 drops (pharaoh or battlemage) for Tesspionage and then drop the  Troll Batrider or Bloodsail (depending on Meta) for Tess herself. Lastly, shoving a Thalnos and a fan of knives in would help, but i think, again, thats more personal preference. I don't know how good Sap is gonna be in this meta; seems like most OP things are battlecries which counters the SHIT out of sap unless you have lethal. 

I love thief priest. Its so deliciously evil, and now theres enough steal options to get picky about it. I cut devour mind, radient elemental, shadow visions, and mind games. Alll of em were too slow. Subbed in mind control tech, cabal priest, the 4 mana steal a 3 or less attack for the turn that im blanking on, glimmerroot  and holy water. You keep stealing but these allow for more immediate fight for the board.

As you said yourself in the comments multiple times, this deck struggles so much in the current meta. 

Had a 19 wins 1 loss last season with this deck with a slight variance of cards. Now its down to a normal 50% winrate over 20 games, basically losing to every aggro deck that gets lucky.

Used to be able to control the board until they ran out of cards, tanking face damage until I knew it was the perfect time to strike without being in lethal range. Now the just reset their hand over and over while constantly doing face damage (especially demon hunter with all the shard cards)

Which is a shame, since this deck is fun and extremely skill based compared to most decks now. If you're not patient and manage your resources, you lose. Now it's just full RNG and hoping you're not against the insanely overstatted aggro decks of this expansion. Hopefully they nerf voracious reader and the shard tech a bit, right now they are just dominating ladder vs more fun decks

I was wrecked by this deck yesterday when climbing, he managed to perfectly steal the cards needed for a good token strat (Glowfly swarm, power of the wild and savage roar), like most decks in this meta it relies heavily on luck but it manages to add an extra win condition so it is powerful yet unfun to play against.

Having been around as long I will say the worst part of all this is that I can remember when it was a really good game. Then some bullshit focus group gave them the idea that new players found the game intimidating so they remove all thought and strategy to the point where you no longer actually play the game you just watch it. Perfect cards are spoon fed to you on curve, so-called RNG effects hit perfectly every time, discover cards only offer the best possible choices and top deck winners occur almost every game. ZTG pulled back the curtain and silenced all of those true believers that used to spout nonsense about how impossible it would be to program the game to read the board and pick the best cards. I truly miss the days when you had to think about what to do next. Blizzard is a business and I get that they need to generate revenue. I just wish they hadn't ruined a really good game chasing new dollars. 

Is there a way of beating DH though? that's the important question. I play all classes, but i'm going to focus on priest and warrior (they both have healing). Basically your hero power should "counter" any face agression, but it doesnt with DH.

I do not mind aggro decks, they've always existed and is a was of keeping combo/control decks in check. However, aggro decks ten to run out of steam during mid-late game. But not DH, it is a constant agression every single turn, you might heal back to 30, that theyll take you down to 15 next turn. Heal back up to 25? dont worry, they'll take you down again.

I believe it is not too healthy when a class can deal +10 damage (at least), every turn, coming from an empty board.

Thanks man, I really enjoy playing Warrior above all, I always played the Warrior deck no matter the meta, except for When raza hit peak and after that when Warlock was Cube god, but thats because I was coming back from a break an needed the grind. Galakrond Warrior is amazing sine I think it really fits te class theme, and now that you made a damaged version this js even more suitable! Thanks again, I hope I can climb to legend from Diamond 4 with this, I played enough OTK DH for a lifetime.

Almost all decks being played at the moment are aggro. This makes sense as the majority of these decks can win a match by turn 6 or 7 with the player literally playing whatever they have in their hand. I have tried to counter these with control decks but even then if they have a good starting hand it’s no contest.

The problem with the current batch of aggro decks is that they have so many options. You can slow them down to a degree but they will rapidly wear you down unless you have great card draw. Face hunter for example has its side quest and minions that damage when they die (I call this autoplay damage). But they also have a variety of supporting minions and spells to get the job done even if they don’t draw the autoplay damage.

The game favours these decks at the moment because silence isn’t really a thing and is usually too expensive (as is most AOE). This in turn favours new players to the game since these decks are also often the cheapest to assemble. I have finally tried face hunter and there is nothing to it. You just throw everything onto the board and if you have a mirror matchup it’s a coin toss. Games last a few minutes which therefore means less time grinding up the ladder. Great! But it is just so mundane and brainless. 

Unfortunately the game has almost always been like this and it’s never going to change.

Yo first of all this deck feels amazing to play, even if i don´t win that often with it (misplays, terrible piloting, bad card draw, etc) its is so much fun to play when you reach the mid-lategame. sometimes i feel like i have so many options to play but can´t decide which one to take haha but is it just me or does it feel like an unfair advantage when having chameleos in hand, seeing what your opponent has in hand. i mean with that card you kinda know how to counter some cards or play around your opponents combos, synergies.

Thanks mate that’s good to hear! Check my guide up above I have a little section about beating Rez priest, but what I’ll say is don’t steal his mass resurrections, steal his removal (plague and mass hysteria) the key is to make them run out of fuel.
