My ONLY issue with using the phone vs computer is that sometimes on my phone I'll miss a weapon swing because the cards cover my hero when clicking the cards to play. sometimes I forget my life points for the same reason since I'm so used to playing on the computer other than that I think mobile hs is really good, wish cards didn't cover your hero portrait
Umm I kinda try to hit a benchmark i suppose. I came back after a very very long break. I started at day 1 hearthstone and played up until the grand tournament but I just used to farm low ranks for golden portraits and 100g. I'm now trying to see if I can make rank 5(at some point). Got to rank 10 4star after just coming back this month.
Looking forward to improving on that, also the rank 15/10/5 "floor" is an amazing change and made a huge difference on my want to try and push for ranks.
I guess I was thinking it was Blizzard who should care that both players have fun most of the time, for the sake of business.
I've tried to make this point earlier this week on these forums...and there's something people just don't understand about it...
I can understand business, sure. But the correlation between both players having fun being good for the business doesn't necessarily work that way. If both players are having fun, then neither player feels they need to change their decks to have abetter chance to win. If they don't want to change their decks, they wont need extra cards. If they don't need extra cards, they wont buy packs. If they don't buy packs, the business fails.
So by that logic, you can see it is actually in Blizzard's invested interest to make sure that at least one of the players is unhappy, because this breeds competitive spirit and remaining competitive is what drives players to buy packs and fund the game.
I dunno man, after coming back to hearthstone after missing a few expacs and deciding not to really invest money past buying the welcome back thing and the 40 old packs for 21 euro. I just used what dust I had in the pile to make an odd pala(had prince liam+baku already) and crafted rexxar to have a non spell focused midrange hunter and find its actually more fun just playing "competitive" HS on budget friendly but effective aggro decks. I think the people that are gonna open packs are gonna open packs regardless of the fun factor because opening packs is fun in itself really.
I think my thing about having every card before standard was introduced was so i could counter deck whatever was beating me at the time but now that im back i just kinda wanna play 1-2 competitive decks for cheap and if I lose, I lose, queue up and hope the next 7 turns are in my scumbag aggro favour :D I dunno, the rotation seems to have taken the fun out of having all the cards but I do think the rotation is very good for the game at the same time.
On a win streak so far with this deck but am only at rank 15 from 25 after coming back from a LONG break
- Havent had a chance to actually try prince liam yet. I understand exactly why hes in the deck but just havent faced a priest or warrior to use it with yet
- Cauldron won me a game by getting a hex which pooped on his megabuffed lynessa to win the game. I enjoy the RNG of it but I guess it's a flexi spot with divine favour if you prefer digging through your own deck for answers.
Great deck, its fast and effective which is all you can really ask from a deck!
I dont exactly get the most time in the world to play HS but usually before I sit down to some hearthstone Ill either have a workout finished, chill with the kids or gf for an hour, cook up some meals for tomorrow and then get maybe an 30 to 90 minutes to play if Im feeling like playing after the kids go to bed. Having a well rounded life usually means its hard to get bored of hearthstone because you kinda have to slot it in at the end of the day if youre not too tired XD

I've like 250 gold and about 5k dust.... No idea why they are so disproportionate but I'll be buying the pre packs anyway.
