I hope they revert the change at least when it goes to wild. Every other effect except echo (or anything that can go infinite) was not broken with this card, but now a lot of combos have been made worse just to enable 1 new card to be costed at 3. Bad blizzard

Fluxflashor posted a message on 5 More Rise of Shadows Budget Decks That Won't Break The Bank!Posted in: NewsYep, and for the most part people only focus on full-on expensive meta decks at the start of an expansion which is unfortunate. The first few weeks is not the time to be crafting cards for players on a budget. Finding them lists they can enjoy and be competitive with at some levels of the ladder without breaking the bank is quite important!
I agree though, more mid-cost decks would be a nice addition. Usually they come in the form of taking a current meta deck and finding suitable replacements for legendary or epic cards while retaining the same core game concepts. You lose some power but if people like the deck they can go all in and craft the fully upgraded version which is pretty cool. Sadly with the way many decks are built now though and how unique legendaries are to them, there's not as many friendly-cost versions of meta decks.

HooliganPolygon posted a message on Rise of Shadows Launches Today! Here's Everything You Need to Know + Theorycrafted DecksPosted in: NewsI wonder what made Dekkster's decks into the list and left my Plot Twist Beastmaster Zoo out despite having 5 upvotes.
I don't want to sound salty but I have 4 theorycraft decks with 4 or more upvotes and none of them could make into the list. Dekkster is a famous streamer already. Put him among Regis & Kripp and save the space for real community decks.

samuellima91 posted a message on New Warrior Card - Dimensional RipperPosted in: NewsIt may not be the best card or even all that good, but it seems really fun to try building a deck around this. Ysera, Oondasta, Damaged Stegotron, Witchwood Grizzly, Amani War Bear, Big Bad Archmage, Blackhowl Gunspire (OH YES), Archmage Vargoth... There are a lot of possibilities. We will lose quite a few good survival tools, but i think we still have enough to make this work. I'm gonna give it a shot for sure!

Which doesn't matter anymore, since Baku is going to
HellWild.1
The thing is that it can function as both the shadow words. While being expensive to be SW:D, it's better than having SW:P vs a Big dude.
You exchange efficiency for flexibility.

Blizz, can you please take Chris Sierra out of videos, he's really annoying!

Actually, the new expansion looks great to me.
When the rotation hits, year of the mammoth is out and with that all those crazy OP cards, making the new cards and the cards of year of the raven relevant and not underwhelming anymore. It's gonna be a whole new game imo.
I'm looking forward to the nex expansion a lot.

This brawl is freaking AMAZING! Soooo good

Some people just hear what they want to hear in ANYTHING...

This will work, but over 2 turns, so it's counter-able after soooo many turns seeing hunter's poor card draw.
That's a terrible combo

Not me. Quests were too demanding and made gameplay too simular. Didn't like it, hope to never see it again. Maybe in a version of Rin it's fine, that was cool.

I wouldn't recommend that. Whizbang is mostly fun the first 2 weeks of a new expansion, to be able to play all the cards (without being a whale). The recipes showcase those. After that those decks usually aren't competitive enough to play much. Normal craft is good enough imo.

an issue in casual is players who farm dailies against you with meta decks. If you lose enough games your MMR will be low enough to miss out on those maybe. Conceding when you recognize a tier 1 deck is not always a fun but possibly viable strategy to keep it light and fun.
