I don't think that it will be really playable.

tomiathon posted a message on Curse of Naxxramas - Rogue Card Revealed - Anub'ar AmbusherPosted in: Newsinterestingly, this seems to be the 1st class card we can be pretty certain about which wing it will come from (arachnid). I suppose maybe the warrior one leans military, and perhaps druid in plague, but those seems slightly less certain anyway.

DescHearth posted a message on Curse of Naxxramas - Rogue Card Revealed - Anub'ar AmbusherPosted in: NewsThat would be an ideal scenario (even though you'd still pay 3 mana for 2 dmg). But 2 things need to happen in order for that to work. 1 Your ambusher needs to be alive the turn after you play him and 2 there needs to be something worthwhile to trade him into. All in all it seems to me to be easier for your opponent to avoid that situation then for you to guarantee it.

Jimbobway posted a message on Curse of Naxxramas - Rogue Card Revealed - Anub'ar AmbusherPosted in: NewsIts definitely meant as a drawback, but it seems easy enough to take advantage of. Play the Ambusher first then next turn play a combo agent then trade the ambusher to bounce the agent.

DescHearth posted a message on Curse of Naxxramas - Rogue Card Revealed - Anub'ar AmbusherPosted in: NewsI think the Deathrattle effect is actually ment as a drawback. 4 Mana for a 5/5 is obviously stronger then usual, and the effect seems like something the rogue would have to play around much more than an opponent would. And any possible combo's you could pull off with it would likely be over a 2 turn span.

WyvernV posted a message on Possible Naxx Pricing Structure LeakPosted in: NewsWow calm down we are all hearth-fans here. The way Blizzard commonly uses the term "unlocks" means it will be accessible without you doing anything more on your part ...as long as you complete the "unlocking" conditions that is. So basically, according to Blizzard way of doing things, unlock = free ...almost, as you still (can) pay for the other wings.

SonofLoke posted a message on Curse of Naxxramas - Rogue Card Revealed - Anub'ar AmbusherPosted in: NewsThis is a really solid card to have. The Rouge class really does not boast a lot of class minions and the ones that they do have, many of them see little play because their style of play is to situational for today's meta. I like this card, its a tempo card that could be used in a tempo deck given its stats and death-rattle.
I know people say this card will be good in miracle rouge but the thing is I believe that to be false. Yes you can use this card to get back Auctioneer but more likely then not you have ways of protecting him if you are going to play him (conceal, shadow step, a taunt). You will likely find yourself not playing this card because you don't want its effect to go off, plus you will have to get rid of something in the miracle formula to make room for this card.
Ps. With all of these effect cards coming out, please note that silence cards are going to be a must for at least 2 month after these cards are released.

Anub'ar Ambusher and Avenge have the *implication* of randomness just like Shadow Madness has the implication of Charge.

Hallo my friends, stay a while and listen...
This is my Version of an Aggro Deck.
I played it from rank 20 to rank 12 on a 15-2 (played some games with my Warri http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/53303-griekz-wbadd-budget in between).
As u can see, I run with Leper Gnome. First, cause I haven't the Young Priestess, but then I like the Gnome in this deck. Opponent always want the gnome off the board - trades a Card for it or take dmg with HP. And the 2 dmg deathrattle are secure (no one silence the gnome! :)). And the secure dmg can be so nice in lategame, when opponent gets his big taunts out.
pls trx and rate!

It would be nice, if the naxx-progress bases on skill...
