Quote from crazyferrari >>(zoo is an aggro deck people, just admit it)
Except, it isn't. Not even close.Aggro decks ignore the board state for the most part and only kill minions that can kill their own without attacking (like an enemy Knife Juggler). They rarely go for anything but face and use removal for taunt creatures and the like, not because it's a threat.
Zoo on the other hand trades. Almost always, unless they are pushing for lethal (and at that point, even control decks rather go face). Zoo creates value by buffing their own minion to up-trade, effectively trading a 1 drop for a 2-5 drop or even higher. That generates tempo and you keep board control. That's what Zoo is about: Keeping board control. It's just effective at what it does, so you rarely need to trade all minions and always have enough on the board to ALSO get some damage in. This effect is currently enhanced by the existence of Councilman, which can snowball pretty hard if not kept in check. Zoo could be described as a tempo/flood deck first and foremost. The only reason why the current zoo lists don't play a bigger mid-range minion, is the simple fact that there aren't any that are worthwhile to run. There are a few mid-range zoo'thun lists that incorporate a core mid-range C'Thun splash, so you have Twins + C'Thun available (and let's be honest, those two are the only worthwhile mid-range neutral options in the game at the moment).

user-13037754 posted a message on Timer Abuse (slow play / roping)Posted in: General DiscussionThe game gives each player 90 seconds to act out their turns. What they do with that time is irrelevant. You might be annoyed, but it's perfectly legal to do absolutely nothing with your turn. Deal with it.

DoubleSummon posted a message on Is it to early to craft princess HuHu?Posted in: HunterQuote from DoubleSummon >>Oh I was about to craft her good thing I read this thread then.. Do you play N'zoth in hunter though?
It's a viable recovery option, but normally the highest cmc in your deck is going to be the two Call of the Wilds. Hunter has always had a card time staying alive long as enough due to the inherent hero power being "go for face race". Back on topic: N'Zoth is a tech card you can run if you want to mess around with it, and if your decklist isn't extremely tight like mine is. No one should be telling you "thats a bad card" as long as you're running enough Deathrattles to make it worth it.Hhm.. So I guess I will craft 2 call of the wild and just go for it without n'zoth or huhuran.. Well that saves me 3200 dust for now. Might still craft Nzoth for paladin. -

mk572 posted a message on Help to chose one deck for each meta!!Posted in: General DiscussionThe meta keeps changing all the time. Unless you're a pro player and your next paycheck depends on winning the next tournament, don't worry about it too much. Craft the deck that looks the most fun to you. Once you have that deck, craft the next.

Kaladin posted a message on Cards you hate for no real reason.Posted in: Card DiscussionQuote from DoctorGreenThumb >>"Mind if I roll need"
should have been weed damn it. Missed opportunity Brode.
From the wiki:"Roll need" refers to the loot system in World of Warcraft. When splitting up loot, players roll a simulated die to see who gets the item. Generally, only players that need the item will roll, thereby "rolling need". A player is a Loot Hoarder (aka Loot Ninja) if they claim to need an item that they do not.[1]"So actually no. "Roll need" is correct. I know you're joking but 'roll need' is an actual thing, FYI. -

Truly sad when this non-class specific card is the best card Rogue got this set.

I brought the same budget I used for Heroic Kel'Thuzad that I haven't deleted yet... Not terrible?

BMing is the biggest reason it was removed for "wow" iirc.

Because it's a quote unquote combo deck, and draw power to have all the pieces in your hand is pretty vital.

First, just play all of the classes until you unlock all of the basic cards. (Get them to level 10)
Afterwards, you should have a general idea on which classes you enjoy playing. Adventure modes are great, as you are guaranteed certain cards for completing them. Whether you buy them with gold or cash, it's a good investment either way. Afterwards just complete your daily quests and buy many Classic card packs. Cards in the Classic set are the core and foundation of your decks, and I have opened over 300 Classic packs and I still don't have everything from that set.
edit: For Daily Quests/Playing in general, remember to play on Ranked. Just by reaching Rank 20 each month, you are guaranteed a new card back when the season ends + other things.

Because aggro shaman is easier to build and play.

While I loved Journey Below at first for its versatility and being a turn one drop option, overall I found its space is better filled with other, more consistent options. I would not run Twilight Summoner. Being an overall 4 mana for 6/6 worth of stats is nice, but the card is way too slow. Admittedly it is the best target for Raptor, but still too slow. Anyone that knows the meta who sees a Rogue playing Twilight Summoner is going to pop it asap, as they know the Rogue player will want to follow it up with a Raptor to clone the ability. I would also replace the Squidfaces. Not a bad card, but just not good enough.
Here is my own list if you want to compare. A card I actually advise putting in N'Zoth decks for Standard is Infested Tauren. Having Taunt on a Deathrattle card is huge for N'Zoth, while still allowing you to swarm the field and not die the following turn. (or helping in that, anyway)
