posted a message on A good time to stop playing?

I've actually just returned from a hiatus myself, from Gadgetzan to mid-KFT. Got really screwed over by Blizzard on 50 Gadgetzan packs, due to the high frequency tri-class bug, and my account wasn't recompensated.

If things looks stale for you, switch between Standard and Wild... however Highlander Priest is cancer in both formats.

Good idea on saving your gold. Maybe try out the Dungeon Run before you go though?

posted a message on Obsidian Shard

Blizzard needs to correct the card's text to:

"Costs (1) less for each card you've played from another class this game."

For the sake of consistency, and ease of understanding for new players. Cards such as Bolvar Fordragon clarify that their continuous effects only trigger in hand, while Arcane Giant includes the "this game" clause, as that's what it does. Due to Obsidian Shard behaving more like Arcane Giant (in that it keeps track of how many "another class" class are played that game, without being in-hand,) it having just two more words would add much more clarity overall.

Seeing as you just made your account, I guess you wouldn't know. The parenthesis indicate the period for HS. "Triggered" was the time frame before "Marin's Treasure."

posted a message on Why are some so extremly upset about losing in Hearthstone?

I mean, it's not that hard to understand.

When you spend a lot of time on something, it's natural that you'd want to be good at it. To spend hours on something and still fail will cause frustration, especially on Ranked/ladder.

The part I fail to understand is when people will rope/be salty on Unranked. Like, there's no consequence for losing in Unranked, so BM-ing on there is just being an asshat.

I'll wait until all the cards are revealed before making a decision. I got screwed over with Gadgetzan, and hope no one else repeats that mistake.

posted a message on What is your favourite "non-meta/meme/troll" deck?

I'm surprised no one else has said Barnes + Y'Shaarj in Druid and Rogue, as their favorite meme deck.

The cancer meme deck used to be good in Druid due to being able to Innervate our Barnes on Turn 1, but after the Innervate nerf, it's lost more consistency.

And the Rogue version is also good because of Gang Up and Conceal

    Leroy, Shadowstep, Leroy.
    Combo activator, Vilespine, Shadowstep, Vilespine.
    Keleseth, Shadowstep, Keleseth.

In non-tempo Rogue, you can Shadowstep your N'Zoth, the Corruptor on the same turn you play him, securing him in your hand for reuse. Shadowstep can also serve as "heal" of sorts, if you want to keep your Arcane Giant around for a while longer.

Overall, it can be conditional, but it's a very good card.
