The monthly countdown of the top Hearthstone streamers/YouTubers is here!

Here are some highlights. Click here to read the full article.

    #10: Amaz
    Last Month's Ranking: #7
Earlier this period, Amaz went to London to participate in a Magic: The Gathering Grand Prix tournament. He's also branching out into other titles on Twitch; this period, Amaz streamed seven different games (though his primary game remains Hearthstone). In less exciting news, he was being hounded by a stream sniper - something that many streamers have to deal with.

    #6 (Tie): Kolento
    Last Month's Ranking: #10
Kolento placed 13th - 16th at the Hearthstone World Championship after going 0-2 in the group stage. It was a disappointing end to his World Championship run (here's what he had to say about it), but I'm confident he'll bounce back!

    #5: Savjz
    Last Month's Ranking: #5
Since we last checked in with Savjz in late January, he celebrated his birthday (which included a surprise party organized by some familiar faces in the Hearthstone community) and changed his Twitter name from @LiquidSavjz to @Savjz. Fun fact: Savjz was an avid Warcraft 3 player back in the day.

    #2: Thijs
    Last Month's Ranking: #2
Thijs' most recent tournament win came not from Hearthstone, but from poker. Congrats on winning the Esports Battle Royale poker tournament, Thijs! Earlier in February, he went on a massive streaming run and logged over 100 hours in two weeks. Judging by this series of tweets, Thijs had a positive reaction to the recent balance update.

    #1: Disguised Toast
    Last Month's Ranking: #1
Disguised Toast managed to hold on to the #1 rank despite not uploading any new YouTube videos during the current period! His dominance in the new Twitch followers and stream views categories helped him overcome the YouTube handicap. Toast also reached 100k Twitter followers in mid-February.

Here are some highlights. Click here to read the full article.

    #10: Kolento
    Last Month's Ranking: #12
Kolento's been extremely active on the competitive front. In late December, he placed 9th - 16th at the Hearthstone All-Star Invitational 2017. In January, he competed in the coveted HCT World Championship in Amsterdam, which concludes on the 21st. Sadly, he was unable to make it out of the group stage, and finished 13th - 16th.

    #9: Day[9]
    Last Month's Ranking: #13
This edition marks Day[9]'s first Hearthstone ranked appearance in five periods. These days, Day[9] allocates most of his on-air time to Hearthstone, StarCraft, Dota 2, and an assortment of indie games.

    #6: Brian Kibler
    Last Month's Ranking: #6
As of writing, Brian Kibler and co-caster Frodan are working their casting magic at the HCT World Championship, which concludes on January 21st. Kibler's HCT commitments will likely result in a nearly two-week absence from Twitch, but you can still drop by his YouTube channel for daily uploads.

    #3: Kripparrian
    Last Month's Ranking: #2
Kripparrian fell to #3 after a period of abnormally low gains in YouTube subscribers. He achieved a monumental milestone in January: 20,000 Arena wins on one account! Click here to read some of the other associated stats he compiled in the account. Kripp is the only ranked streamer nominated for a Shorty Award in the Twitch Streamer category.

    #1: Disguised Toast
    Last Month's Ranking: #1
Disguised Toast tops the rankings for the third straight period. In 2017, he ranked in the top 10 in Twitch viewer hours. In December and January, Toast has shifted his YouTube focus to his second channel, which was created on Nov 13, 2017 (as of writing, the last upload on his main channel occurred back on Dec 14th). Toast's second channel has amassed nearly 150k subscribers in its first two months of existence

    #9: Dog
    Last Month's Ranking: #12
Dog's had a busy end to the year. Recent accomplishments include placing 2nd at Trinity Series Season 2 (with Team Liquid), 1st at the WESG (World Electronic Sports Games) USA qualifiers, and hitting #1 on the NA ladder.

    #6: Brian Kibler
    Last Month's Ranking: #4
Brian Kibler is doing something cool on Twitch during the holiday season; everyone who gifts a subscription to his Twitch channel will in turn be gifted a sub to another channel. Get the details here. Kibler is in the midst of a five-day break from streaming, but he'll be back after Christmas. In the meantime, his YouTube channel will continue to upload videos.

    #5: Thijs
    Last Month's Ranking: #3
In December, Thijs placed 5th - 8th at SeatStory Cup VIII and 7th - 8th at Trinity Series Season 2 (with team G2 Esports). Like #7 ranked Savjz, Thijs is optimistic about the direction that competitive Hearthstone is heading in 2018. As of writing, Thijs is in Taiwan for the 2017 Hearthstone All-Star Invitational.

    #3: LilyPichu
Last Month's Ranking: New to list
LilyPichu, a newcomer to our list, has been learning the ins and outs of Hearthstone from fellow streamers like Hafu and Disguised Toast. During the current period, LilyPichu's two most-streamed games were League of Legends and Hearthstone.

    #1: Disguised Toast
    Last Month's Ranking: #1
Disguised Toast ended the year with a two-period run at #1. His recently-launched second YouTube channel (for Twitch stream highlights and other miscellaneous content) has greatly contributed to his YouTube stats (including a whopping 128k subscribers gained during the current period).

Here are some highlights. Click here to read the full article.

    #9: Kolento
    Last Month's Ranking: #11

Like Firebat, this period Kolento clawed his way back into the upper echelon. Incidentally, both creators streamed just over 70 hours of Heathstone during the current period. Kolento is fresh off a 2nd place finish at the Gamegune Major 2017 (#3 ranked Thijs placed 9th - 12th at the event). You can read Kolento's quick thoughts on his placement in this tweet.

    #8: Hafu
    Last Month's Ranking: #7 (Tie)

Hafu has earned two straight ranked appearances, something she hasn't accomplished since early 2016. She made this period's list despite spending a good chunk of it vacationing in Hawaii with fellow streamer Becca. Hafu will be participating in Amazon’s Champions of Fire invitational during the weekend of December 2nd.

    #6: Amaz
    Last Month's Ranking: #9

Amaz gained three ranks thanks to a stronger showing on YouTube compared to last period. As of writing, he's less than 2,000 subscribers away from reaching the 500k milestone. Amaz recently made a semi-joking tweet about not being given a Kobolds and Catacombs preview card. Regardless, he's been reviewing the new preview cards on YouTube.

    #2: Kripparrian
    Last Month's Ranking: #1

This period, Kripparrian experienced a dip in new YouTube subscribers and video views. In fact, most ranked creators experienced a similar drop - most likely because we're in the lull before the next expansion.

    #1: Disguised Toast
    Last Month's Ranking: #2

Disguised Toast reclaims the throne! It's been a trying time for Toast, who had to contend with YouTube erroneously shutting down his main and new second channel. Thankfully, the issue has been resolved and his second channel is now racking up new subscribers and views. In happier news, Toast met Conan O'Brien at TwitchCon. Watch the epic moment here

    #10: Dog
    Last Month's Ranking: #11

Dog returns to the top 10 after a one-period absence! He's been quite the globe hopper in recent months, with stops in Germany, Korea, Japan, and most recently California for TwitchCon, where he participated in the Oktoberbrawl team event. Dog, #4 ranked Thijs, and J4CKIECHAN won two games to one against #2 ranked Disguised Toast, Reynad, and Alliestrasza. Bonus TwitchCon pic: Dog dressed up in a Murloc costume

    #4: Thijs
    Last Month's Ranking: #3

Thijs is quickly approaching 400k Twitch followers, and he should easily reach this milestone before the end of November. In less exciting news, he suffered a bout of food poisoning during his flight back from TwitchCon. As of writing, his fans are evenly split on whether or not he should stream constructed or Dual-Class Arena.

    #2: Disguised Toast
    Last Month's Ranking: #1

Kripparrian may have retaken first place, but Disguised Toast had arguably the more eventful month. Highlights include subbing for Kripp at TwitchCon's Oktoberbrawl 3v3 event (wearing his patented toast mask!) and getting hailed as "the greatest name in gaming history" by Conan O'Brien.

    #1: Kripparrian
    Last Month's Ranking: #2

Kripparrian will be giving away twenty BlizzCon Virtual Tickets. It's likely that other top Hearthstone creators will be doing the same, so it wouldn't hurt to keep an eye on their Twitter feeds during the next few days. Earlier in October, appendicitis took Kripp out of commission and prevented him from attending TwitchCon. Thankfully, he's now back in action after a successful surgery.

    #10: Kinky
Last Month's Ranking: New to list
Hearthstone memer Kinky makes his first ranked appearance. The Druid controversy following the Knights of the Frozen Throne release has given him plenty of content fodder. Watch this video to see Kinky's most popular upload of the current period, a tongue-in-cheek interpretation of how Blizzard was handling the Druid situation.

    #9: Kolento
    Last Month's Ranking: #7 (Tie)
Kolento, famous for creating the Miracle Rogue deck, has already qualified for the 2017 Hearthstone World Championship (by way of placing 2nd in the Spring Championship). As of writing, he's the only ranked creator who's booked his ticket.

    #5: Brian Kibler
    Last Month's Ranking: #5
Brian Kibler celebrated his birthday on the 7th. In lieu of asking for anything, he set up a fundraising page and encouraged his followers to donate to those affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Sadly, Kibler was not on hand to cast the HCT Americas playoffs because he had prior commitments.

    #3: Thijs
    Last Month's Ranking: #4
Thijs and #2 ranked Kripparrian are currently participating in Blizzard's Oktoberbrawl. This team-based event requires competitors to start a brand new account and spend the next month building their collection from scratch, before competing at TwitchCon on October 21st.

    #1: Disguised Toast
    Last Month's Ranking: #2
Congrats to Disguised Toast for reaching #1! The last creator to usurp Kripp was #8 ranked Reckful, who accomplished the feat back in July 2016. This period, Toast went toe-to-toe with Kripp in new stream views and topped our rankings in new YouTube subscribers and Twitch followers. He also hit 500k YouTube subscribers.

Here are some highlights. Click here to read the full article.

    #10: Dog
    Last Month's Ranking: #14 (Tie)
Dog returned to the rankings at an exciting time: Team USA made it to the semifinals of the Hearthstone Global Games before falling in a heartbreaking fashion. In the end, the Czech Republic took the matchup four games to three. During the week leading up to the finals, Dog shut down streams and YouTube uploads in order to focus on the prize. He began streaming again on August 28th.

    #9: Day[9]
    Last Month's Ranking: #14 (Tie)
Day[9], fresh off his hosting gig at Dota 2's The International, is enjoying life as a gamer. He'll have his hands full next month with the Starcraft remaster, his Dota 2 games with coach Purge, and the new Hearthstone expansion.

    #6: Savjz
    Last Month's Ranking: #4
This period, Savjz reached 400k Twitch followers and more recently 200k YouTube subscribers. During the current period, Savjz is averaging one YouTube upload per day and has streamed roughly 175 hours of Hearthstone.

    #4: Thijs
    Last Month's Ranking: #5
Did you catch Thijs's exclusive Hearthstone raid stream from GamesCom? If you missed it, check out the video here to watch him recap the new raid game mode. Initial reactions in the Blizzard forums and on Reddit appear lukewarm, but there's still time for Blizzard to tweak things.

Here are some highlights. Click here to read the full article.

    #9: Trump
    Last Month's Ranking: #8 (Tie)

Trump, a Hearthstone veteran who has been uploading videos since 2013, was one of two ranked creators to lose YouTube subscribers during the current period. During San Diego Comic Con, Trump made an appearance at the Knights of the Frozen Throne themed Frostside Gathering.

    #8: Hafu
    Last Month's Ranking: #14

Hafu, who last appeared four editions ago, returns to the top 10! Impressive stat: This Arena master has streamed over 200 hours of Hearthstone during the current period. She also streamed five other games during this period, but none for more than a couple of hours.

    #6: Amaz
    Last Month's Ranking: #5

On July 18th, Amaz announced on Twitter that he'll be pausing streams until August as he travels to a few Magic: The Gathering tournaments. As a result, he logged 26 fewer hours of Hearthstone than he averaged during the previous two periods. Thankfully, you can still get your Amaz fix on YouTube; he banked enough videos to continue regular uploads during his travels.

    #5: Thijs
    Last Month's Ranking: #6

Thijs and the Netherlands' Hearthstone Global Games journey has come to an end. They were defeated in the quarterfinals by #7 ranked Kolento and Team Ukraine. They had a great run, and it's sad to see them bow out of the competition.

    #2: Disguised Toast
    Last Month's Ranking: #2

Disguised Toast is quite the popular streamer; his meet & greet session at HCT Shanghai drew a huge crowd. On July 19th, Disguised Toast donated $5 for every game he lost with his Quest Mage deck. He lost a total of sixteen games (which amounts to $80 in donations), but ended up contributing $500 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital thanks to some help from his Twitch viewers.

Has anyone tried it? Do you know if it's legit? I began wondering since first post here dates back to Oct. 2015 and it had a Lootcakes link already (in the table image itself), but their site still says beta, after almost 2 years. Seemed to me a tad long time for a beta, but might still be OK...

Hey there, the beta was launched December 2016. Prior to that, the site was taking sign-ups to enter the beta, so it's been less than a year since the beta actually launched. Yes, it's a legitimate site. :) If you want to talk more, feel free to send me a PM.

    #10: Dog
    Last Month's Ranking: #8

The Hearthstone Global Games continue! Dog, #7 ranked Firebat, and the rest of Team USA placed 1st in their group during the round of 48. Up next for the crew is the round of 24. We wish them the best of luck! Last period, Dog also participated in the DreamHack Austin Grand Prix, where he placed top 8. All in all, it was a pretty good month of results!

    #7 (Tie): Trump
    Last Month's Ranking: #5

Trump may not be participating in the Global Games, but he still had a busy month; he placed top 4 at Dreamhack Austin and took some time off to learn and participate in the first tournament for Gwent (a new online card game developed by CD Projekt RED).

    #4: Brian Kibler
    Last Month's Ranking: #7

Another busy Hearthstone creator, Brian Kibler casted the HCT Europe Playoffs (with Frodan) and created content for the eSports media network Omnislash - in addition to running his own channels and blogging on his website.

    #2: Savjz
    Last Month's Ranking: #4

Savjz returns to #2! He and Disguised Toast have frequently jostled for the runner-up rank; over the past six months, each have three #2 finishes. Savjz uploads daily videos on YouTube and has streamed over 150 hours of Hearthstone during the current period.

The monthly countdown of the top Hearthstone streamers/YouTubers is here!

    #10: Kolento
    Last Month's Ranking: #13

Kicking off our top ten is Kolento, who returns to the list after a three-month absence. Kolento recently reached 400k followers on Twitch and is nearing thirty million total channel views. He is representing Team Ukraine at the Hearthstone Global Games.

    #9: Firebat
    Last Month's Ranking: #10

Firebat and #8 ranked Dog are both representing Team USA at the Global Games. In one of their recent matches, Team USA took down #3 ranked Thijs and the Netherlands.

    #6: Amaz
    Last Month's Ranking: #4

April has been a busy month for Amaz: He celebrated a birthday and got LASIK surgery. Although he took a couple of days off to recover, his YouTube and Twitch numbers actually increased compared to last period. Nonetheless, he fell two spots as most ranked creators experienced a bump thanks to the release of the Journey to Un'Goro expansion.

    #2: Disguised Toast
    Last Month's Ranking: #2

Disguised Toast and Brian Kibler may not be representing their respective countries in the Global Games, but they nevertheless found a way to team up and destroy the competition. The duo plus Cydonia formed Team PogChamp and took 1st place at the Red Bull Team Brawl.

    #1: Kripparrian
    Last Month's Ranking: #1

Kripparrian dominated this period's viewership numbers, generating nearly twenty million new YT video views and more than four million Twitch channel views. In IRL news, Kripp and Rania are building a greenhouse. Follow Kripp's Twitter for periodic updates!

The monthly countdown of the top Hearthstone streamers/YouTubers is here.

Here are some highlights. Click here to read the full article.

    #10: Firebat
    Last Month's Ranking: #9 (Tie)

Birthday boy Firebat turned 21 in March! In other news, he parted ways with his team, Cloud9.

    #9: Hafu
    Last Month's Ranking: #12

Hafu makes her second ranked appearance of 2017 (she also made two appearances in 2016). Like many other ranked creators (including Firebat), Hafu made her way to the Bahamas for the Hearthstone Winter Championship, which took place from March 23rd - 26th. Unfortunately, none of them qualified for the tournament.

    #5 (Tie): Thijs
    Last Month's Ranking: #5

Thijs had an exciting March: He reached 250k followers on Twitch, was selected to represent the Netherlands at the Hearthstone Global Games, and attended the Hearthstone Winter Championship.

    #5 (Tie): Brian Kibler
    Last Month's Ranking: #4

While the other ranked creators attending the Hearthstone Winter Championship were merely spectators, Brian Kibler had casting duties. His casting commitments were a big reason for his lack of streams during the latter half of March.

    #2: Disguised Toast
    Last Month's Ranking: #2

Disguised Toast's trip to the Bahamas (for the Hearthstone Winter Championship) was a success. He half-jokingly noted that he spent most of the time indoors. Speaking of tournaments, the Hearthstone community was amused by Toast's disqualification from the PAX East Hearthstone tournament. The reason: He overslept! It's a shame, because Toast was actually poised to make a run in the loser's bracket.

    #1: Kripparrian
    Last Month's Ranking: #1

Kripparrian is approaching two very impressive milestones: 1 million YouTube subscribers and 1 million Twitch followers! Although champagne popping isn't quite imminent, at his current growth rate we expect Kripp to celebrate both achievements at roughly the same time, later this year.

Here are some highlights. Click here to read the full article.

    #9 (Tie): Firebat
    Last Month's Ranking: #8 (Tie)
Firebat's participation in the two-and-a-half month Hearthstone Trinity competition has come to an end. Thijs, our #5 ranked creator, also participated. Firebat and his Cloud9 teammates (StrifeCro and TidesOfTime) finished near the bottom of the pack with a 2-5 record. Better luck next time! Check out Firebat's stream below.

    #8: Amaz
    Last Month's Ranking: #5
Hearthstone isn't the only digital card game that Amaz has been playing: he's also streaming Eternal. During the current period, Amaz has logged over 100 Twitch hours on Hearthstone and 30 hours on Eternal.

    #6: Trump
    Last Month's Ranking: #4
Trump had a busy run of tournaments during the current period. He placed 3rd - 4th at the ONOG PAX South Major, losing to the eventual winner Leadpaint in the semifinals. Trump was also one of 64 players to qualify for the HCT Americas Winter Championship. Unfortunately, two early losses quickly scuttled his chances of advancing. We hope to see Trump bounce back in next season's championship!

    #3: Savjz
    Last Month's Ranking: #2
Fun fact: Savjz has been a partnered Twitch streamer for just over three years. As of writing, he just broke 300k Twitch followers and is nearing 150k YouTube subscribers. Savjz has been consistently averaging 100k or more views on his Hearthstone videos; as of writing, only two have failed to reach 100k since December 2nd, 2016.

    #1: Kripparrian
    Last Month's Ranking: #1
Kripp has been Mr. Consistency on Twitch. He streamed 141 hours of Hearthstone during the current period, which is nearly identical to his three-month average of 143 hours. Kripp also topped January's Arena rankings in the Americas region. The competition was fierce; only .04 average wins separated Kripp and the #3 ranked player.

The monthly countdown of the top Hearthstone streamers/YouTubers is here.

Here are some highlights. Click here to read the full article.

    #10: Hafu
    Last Month's Ranking: #16
Hafu returns to the rankings after a ten-month absence! Since last check-in, she's gained about 50k Twitch followers and 10k YouTube subscribers. Earlier this month Hafu was invited to the HTC Vive Summit, where she got to check out the Vive VR headset.

    #6: Thijs
    Last Month's Ranking: #4
It's been a busy couple of months for Thijs. In December, he won the €25,000 eSport Superstars tournament in Germany. This month, Thijs is participating in ESL Gaming's team-based Hearthstone Trinity Series. Thijs and team G2 have hit the ground running with a 2-0 record (as of writing). The tournament will run through March 2nd, with each team playing once a week.

    #4: Trump
    Last Month's Ranking: #5 (Tie)
Fun fact: Trump placed 23rd in the Americas region in Standard Season 33. He recently announced his attendance at PAX South, which takes place from January 27th - 29th. Trump also recently won the Pandaria Cup.

    #2: Savjz
    Last Month's Ranking: #2
Last month, Savjz placed 5th - 8th at SeatStory Cup VI, a 32-person tournament that featured a few other creators on our list: Amaz (placed 5th - 8th), Firebat (17th - 24th), and Hafu (17th - 24th). This period, Savjz began dabbling with the Wild format.

    #1: Kripparrian
    Last Month's Ranking: #1
At the beginning of January, Kripparrian took a small break from Hearthstone to play other games, such as Path of Exile. Don't worry, though - he jumped back into the Hearthstone fray during the second week of the month! Because Kripp took some time off, a couple of his accounts decayed to level 20.

    Last ranking of 2016!

Here are some highlights. Click here to read the full article.

    #1: Kripparrian
Kripparrian, who dominated the rankings in 2016, once again claims the throne. Fun fact: According to a recent post by Hearthstone game director Ben Brode, at one point Kripp could have crashed Hearthstone's servers by mass disenchanting his card collection. Read this post to get the amusing details: http://www.hearthpwn.com/news/2086-kripparrian-could-have-killed-hearthstone-by

    #2: Savjz
Congrats to Savjz for reaching 100k subscribers on YouTube! His channel has grown leaps and bounds during the last half of 2016. Until five months ago, his regular YouTube videos rarely broke 20k views each. This period, his least-watched video broke 50k and his most-watched broke 460k! Savjz and 5th ranked Amaz both claimed top 8 finishes at this month's SeatStory Cup VI tournament.

    #7: Brian Kibler
This period, Brian Kibler participated in the second edition of Firebat's Batstone tournament. Unfortunately, Firebat just missed out on a top 10 rank. Fun fact: Kibler streamed four different card games during the current period (Hearthstone, Duelyst, Elder Scrolls: Legends and Eternal), the most of any ranked creator. He also broke the 250k YouTube subscriber mark.

    #8: Kolento
Tournament commitments caused Kolento to stop streaming for a week. He recently traveled to China to participate in the TOP Nation Cup, where he lost to #4 ranked Thijs in the finals. It came down to the wire, but in the end Thijs prevailed by winning four games to Kolento's three. To add insult to injury, Kolento's return flight was pushed back a day due to weather issues. Here's hoping his luck improves in January!
