Of course Waggle Pick can't be nerfed because it's one of the very few good cards of the new expansion, instead blizzard killed the only good card of the last expansion.

"People have a much easier time with “Teach it 2 Shaman spells” or “Get a fantastic Treasure” than with “Lifesteal, Rush, Windfury.” "
WTF? I think exactly the opposite. Rush or Lifesteal are much easier effects to learn and they are in at least 10-20 cards. Compared to The Lich King which everyone thought it'd give one of the DK hero cards when it was first revealed.
"If you don’t know a keyword, you just don’t get the card. In client, you can mouse over it but that creates an extra burden "
Deck slots argument all over again *Facepalm*

+1 pack is only when a player advances, not for every winning match. Viper still has to win 1 more to get to the quarterfinals and earn you +1 pack.
Jan 31, 2019Posted in: Card DiscussionShaman's core set is already super bad, this nerf makes it even worse.
Kind of lame but Even Shaman was very powerful in wild. Probably had to thanks to Genn being a thing (and Blizz being not willing to nerf neither him nor Baku).
Wild even shaman is OP because of 4 mana 7-7, Thing from below, jade cards etc. not because of this card or 1 mana hero power

I seriously consider uninstalling the game after reading all those irresponsible, destructing nerfs with 0 concern about the balance of the game. Rotation is their last chance for me.

RIP druid 2014-2018
Seriously rotation would be more than enough to kil druid in standard

Not going to read thru 5 pages of a nerf thread, but responding to the OP, I will say I sincerely hope they don't do that. I have to humble brag to make a point, but forgive me, because I think it's germane to the topic at hand.
They have created a meta in which warrior has unfathomable lasting power. I just finished playing 2 games with control warrior that speak to this situation. The first was against Conjurer's Mage, in which he plays Luna's Pocket Galaxy on Curve and manages to generate 7 fireballs with Antonidas, hit me twice with an 8/8, and generate a Pyroblast off Kalecgos. I won that game. It involved magnetizing a Wargear and a Zilliax onto a standing Devastator, but I DID win that game.
The second game involved the dreaded bomb vs control warrior match. This time, I got 9 bombs shuffled in my deck, got hit for 15 in boom bot damage, and his Archivist Elysiana gave him Sea Giant, Onyxia, Crowd Roaster, and Grommash. I won that game. I won that fucking game.
Now, I was happy to win these games, don't get me wrong. But upon further reflection, I started thinking about what it takes to beat Control Warrior. Obviously aggro decks can always God draw and get there against anything, but 7-8 out of 10, that doesn't happen. Mech Paladin can do Kangor's tricks and get there, but the new trend is running double silence in warrior, which dilutes the pool badly and turns Kangor's into a coin flip. So what's left? Mage and Dire Frenzy Hunter.
I call it Dire Frenzy Hunter because that is the only relevant card in the deck against warrior. And like mage, it gets there against warrior because it can play tricks with the rules of tempo.
One 8/8 will never get there against the full control version of warrior. You need to be able to create multiple board states where the warrior will have to brawl and then single kill something on the same turn. And the worst part is, you have to do that multiple times most games. Khadgar into 4 8/8's just simply won't win the game on its own most of the time. So when people advocate taking "twinspell" away from Conjurer's Calling, that would destroy one of two major advantages over warrior in this meta.
A reasonable response to all this is, "yeah, nerf warrior too". The problem with that is you have murloc shaman and token druid ready to sweep over EVERYTHING else in the meta the second the bulwark that is Control Warrior disappears. Metas are fragile ecosystems, and a change to one effects everything.
Just a thought.

Im going to be in the minority i feel judging by these and reddit comments but, i really don't care about this stuff.
I'll agree some of the card art is worse, but that is prob just a biased opinion after knowing these cards for so long.
I do prefer the mistre.... sorry, queen of pain's new art though, the name change is just funny to me.
At the end of the day though, i dont play the game to look at the card art. Not anymore anyway... Looking forward to the 100 petitions that will change nothing though.

As a spectator of Hearthstone e-sports, I have to admit that this is the most boring format to watch. And it's good that control warrior is one of the strongest decks right now to proove that!
You are watching 2 hours warrior matches, in which both players have 50 health on turn 30. But not only one time (remember the odd warrior mirrors), no but 2-3 times! This format has do die right now! And yes - I am salty.

Sounds like OP plays control warrior.

Probably Ragnaros the Firelord. He was so good that Blizzard changed their entire design policy and on top of that created Hall of Fame to get of similar problematic cards from the Standard rotation :) And he is still being played in Wild, so yeah.

So with the release of SN1P-SN4P, we have a new Echo card printed, the first since the witchwood released. Blizzard has stated that they won't be using Echo again for one-off cards yet prints this? Do they honestly think Echo is a hard concept to grasp for new players if they take 5 seconds to hover over a card text to see the keywords explained? The difference between Charge and Rush is probably just as complicated for brand new players to understand as Echo (or Magnetic) is as a mechanic. Is the new legendary with Echo, Magnetic, and Deathrattle all on one card supposed to be "easy to understand" for new players or something?
I'd really like Blizzard to stop treating everyone like a 5 year old and just make consistency changes to many cards that need it, such as:
These small inconsistencies do matter in very fringe cases, but they are cases nonetheless. For example, unstable evolution and witch's brew may be obtained by a Thief Rogue playing against a Shaman. The rogue may have a Mistwraith on board and start using evolutions, yet no buffs occur when it behaves exactly the same as Echo, and even has the same graphic effect.
Charge should simply read "Give a minion Rush", or just rename the card completely to "Rush". The only fringe scenario I can think of where this would matter is if a Warsong Commander is in play, preventing the minion from getting +1 attack. But uh... yeah.
Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound should read "At the end of your turn, Recruit a minion from your deck". I understand Y'Shaarj came out before Recruit was a keyword, but it's not hard to just update the card to get with the times, especially since it's a played card in Wild.
Just pretty annoyed that Blizzard made a case for messing with keywords then completely go back on their word.
