Oh dang, you’re right. I’m noticing some cards that are now in Battlegrounds (Muro and Steward of Time). However, I only found a few. It’d probably help if you sent time stamps (Though I do like a good scavenger hunt). It’s always fun to see Hearthstone reuse their art. Thanks for the facts!
Some people say Blizzard got worse from Ben Brode's disappearance, or Blizzard got better. But to be honest, I just think that Ben Brode was a smiling face that gave us an experience. Good or bad, we can still agree that Blizzard's improved since his departure. But in my opinion, Blizzard would be in its same state if he were still here. He'd just be there to rally the group up like he always did.
Has to be Dragon Breeder. Everything about that little fellow is cute. I'd pinch those chubby cheeks because of how freaking adorable he is. Oh yeah, the dragon he's holding is pretty sweet as well.
It took 2 years and Elise came back with a whopping +2 attack. It took 4 years and Mrrlgton came back with +1 attack. Stay strong, Mrrrglton. You’ll pass her one day.
Trend on retyping cards goes on. When we will see new interesting mechanics?
OH MY GOSH, YOU’RE RIGHT!!! They took a card that rotated out a few years ago, converted it from a spell into a minion with high stats, and changed its class. That’s basically the exact same card. Thank you for pointing this out, and I’ll be sure to dust it when I get it. If it wasn’t for you, I would’ve been putting this in my Healadin deck with High Priest Thekal. Thank you, again. I’d rather see new stuff.
May be good with Arch-Villain Rafaam. If you (somehow) manage to get Bertrug to survive a turn, you can then Rafaam and then hero power to get some instant goodies. Yes, there are some unfortunately bad Legendaries to summon without battlecry and just to die at the end of the turn (RIP for whoever gets Hir'eek, the Bat). But then you got the minions that have decent attack like Da Undatakah, or minions that wish to die (Dr. Morrigan in a deck full of Legendaries?). And let us not forget are beautiful Overkill cards (Oondasta on Oondasta anybody?). I'll definitely be freaking out in my seat if one of the cards in my hand happens to be Khadgar. But what I really want to find out is what triggers first?.. Bertrug's death effect or a Legendary's [End of Turn] effect. Either way, I definitely find myself making this deck. If lucky, this will most likely end with a fun victory.
I like to think of it as what Nintendo did for Smash. They wanted to take their best work from before and bring it back so everyone could relive it. That’s what I see in this expansion. I will admit it is a little faulty since one villain only rotated out just now, and two villains will still be in rotation for another two years. But it still brings back memories. LoE was actually the first ever expansion I joined Hearthstone in. The idea of Rafaam was insane. I still replay LoE whenever I’m bored. Then came Old Gods. I was intrigued by Lazul but disappointed when she didn’t get a card in one of the many slots. Now here she is, bringing back a mechanic that I wished there was more of. I will admit, perhaps you are right that the presentation was weak. But I’m letting their final expansion of this year decide whether they’ve gone flat or not.
I think Rafaam look a bit too cool for a warlock legend.
I'd say he's on Lord Godfrey coolness levels, which is great :D
I rather warlock get another godfrey as their mascot legendary, I dono why I guess Rafaam being part thief and looking like 1 makes him roguelike.
Got your point there - Though he's always leaned towards the idea of warlock with his dark presence. Even was given his own warlock card back in LoE which was Curse of Rafaam. Plus let's not forget that he only steals for the most power (I like your deck. I think I will take it!). One thing I can say is they did his battlecry pretty well. Brings back the memories of Elise Starseeker - But with no complex hunt for the Map to the Golden Monkey. Now I understand that it may not be the best card for Warlock, but that's to judge for later. What I hope for in this expansion's warlock? I hope that they take the chance to combine Rafaam's greedy nature - And one of the most interesting warlock mechanics (Card burning). We've rarely seen the power to STEAL cards from opponent's decks. I think we need Rafaam's help to set this goal.
I find it interesting that this is the first card to ever cast on draw and not draw in return. Sure - Otherwise, it'd mean first one to run out of cards instantly dies, but this new mechanic probably changes the view of many Mill players.

And from wording, appears that even if you're attacked by a 3 Health minion, you're taking that damage first. Good combo with Ice Barrier though.

New Quest Shaman: I think you mean new and improved Al'Akir the Windlord.

I'm guessing this is common knowledge, but this'll be fun with Reborn. Probably what they intended due to all of the reborns for Priest.

Lol. Wouldn't Gonk be happy because he's getting more attention due to the synergy?

Don't you disrespect me, little man! Don't you derogate or deride! You're in my world now - not your world.
And I got bombs on the other side!
