Hey guys, I was just wondering how often you actually proc the battle cry of Acidic Swamp Ooze. I tend to include it in most of my decks as a tech choice but proc it maybe 1 in 20 games because either I don't manage to mulligan it when I need it or it comes a turn late once the weapon user has gotten full value out of their weapon.
Hunters mark and equality and even keeper of uldaman are strong cards but are not flat removal. they require trading or the using of another card to completely eliminate the minion presence. Shadowflame and twisting nether are good cards but require you to sack yourself and are very circumstantial. The greater investment in the minion you sacrifice the greater your outcome but obviously a greater loss of mana on your part. Lets say i play a 2 mana minion with 3/2 stats and use shadow flame on it. That is 6 mana and 2 cards and reducing your own board presence for a 3 damage clear. Flamestrike is 4 damage, maintaining your board presence and only 1 card for only 1 extra mana. Similar effects different costs. Arguably a great cost for the shadowflame but it can be acticated earlier than flamestrike
I feel like with pirates I have a chance to catch them out if they don't draw perfectly. With jade, especially druid, I don't feel like I really have any genuine chance at beating that deck.
20-10 is fun zone. I play dragon paladin or buff hunter and yo-yo up and down. So funny destroying spuds playing net decks with 'just for laughs' decks
just versed a warrior. 2 alexstraza champions, 2 blood of ichor, 2 executes, 2 blackwing corruptors and a fiery war axe with an azure drake in his hand all the way. cleared everything I put down on curve then top decked his grommash on curve to finish the game. I've never drawn like that. never.
I run him in my Reno deck. Nothing shuts down a warrior or freeze mage like anubarak. He's very strong but you just need to be aware of when you're playing him by counting removals and silences. He isn't one of those cards you just throw down to make an impact, he's something you throw down to start pushing the game into an end zone you can freely control.
Terrible card. Goblin auto barber was as good a two drop as a two drop could get for rogue, and it still didn't see play. This card is much worse than barber if you take the playstyle of the class into account and won't see play.
It wasn't though. You needed a dagger out on turn two, then you could play it on turn three by which point you're being inefficient with mana
Yeah it summons based on the lower card. I've been running summoning stone in a kind of control tempo deck for the past few days. So far its consistent at about 50-50 (possibly closer to 45-55 not in favour) but I'm finding it hard to push it to a positive win/loss ratio.
To be honest I'm always adding people to chat about the game. I have a lot of close call games and I'll tend to add people after that to have a chat or laugh about it. Always accept friend requests, regardless of what they say it's just a game. Shouldn't let other people's venom scare you away from the possibility of making new friends.

Is anyone else concerned by the upcoming change in standard that will be removing some of the most important cards for pirate synergy? I certainly am.
