Been said before I’m sure, but a secret or a minion with a static ability that denies battlecry.
Alternatively just more ways to interact with your opponents turn in general, secrets are great and the Druid choose a death rattle minion was a step in the right direction, but I’m always craving some more interactive and disruptive cards.
Those shifting stat cards cause this bug because their stats shift at the same time as the card itself shifts, it’s kinda funny but you can end up with some nice minions this way if you’re lucky
It’s not fair, it’s a gamble with your coins to get more out of them
the low win end of the pool has a high disparity in power level that evens out near the jackpot, that being said even a bad deck is still capable of enough wins to break even in most cases
i can understand your frustration with it when being destroyed by a higher value deck but it’s also the risk you take with the gamble, you’ll be on the flip side of this as well just as often
Played a similar deck with Dire Frenzy and stitched trackers to get more recruits off, goes incredibly well with animal companion or any other beast you want to yoink out for good beats or defense.
Not big on secret keeper but I understand why you’d want it around, the value is nice but ultimately I wasn’t a fan of relying on any secret synergy cards when my real win push was my beasts
Its a fun deck though, you can get away with a lot of jank plug-ins and still pull off a good win rate
The answer is yes it’s a viable, the card either gives you full initiative if it goes off or forces a hard removal or silence from your opponent that could insure your other bombs go off
It’s important to know the timing and when it is appropriate to play this card in each matchup, even in a meta that’s full of silence and hard removal it’s still a staple imo
It’s possible in standard, I threw in the package in my taunt Druid deck just for some jokes and it’ll go off every now and then. I wouldn’t ever really count on it as a win condition however, it’s mostly for the jokes
Currently it’s mostly for fun in standard, pretty solid in wild. I’d personally keep it because it seems like it’ll have some even more busted interactions in the future
It performs pretty decent, thalnos is a very safe craft and aluneth is just straight gas to give you the push you might need to overcome a more defensive deck.
i wouldn’t recommend putting all of your eggs in this basket but if it’s your favorite style of play then by all means
Could be fun occasionally but I figure I’d get bored with it after a while, when I get on hearthstone I really just want to play some cards with other people

Not really hoping for anything else to be sent there, I like interactions with older cards even if it occasionally unearths a brutal combo

Made a holy paladin list just based around lifesteal and healing value to outlast the aggro and push up the ladder early in the season
Worked fine against aggro but warlock was just too much to handle so I canned it
the problem was it had no real win condition in the fatigue game against other decks built to last

No no no, my jank homebrew has to be able to compete with consistent win conditions! Tune the game down to my level

Little to no data usage, heaps of battery life drain

Ok Dollmaker Dorian or whatever his name is, I plug it into my taunt Druid and sometimes my warlock and never thought twice about it.
guaranteed doomsayer level of hard removal used on him or I net some insane value on my recursion plays

It’s not really a joke deck, it’s just not in its best form currently.
Doesnt mean it can’t see some success either, it just seems more like a cap at rank 5 deck unless you’ve got some major attrition
