imho consistently one of the most interestingly designed cards in hearthstone to this day. This card alone allows for the mill archetype people have played with various levels of success throughout every expansion. so few cards are such unique build-arounds as coldlight oracle.
I've had some great success with this deck in control and combo matchups, but has trouble vs aggro if you don't draw Sleep with the Fishes and a whirlwind effect card early. Medivh the Guardian is the starring card of this deck, after controlling a while the huge minion swing turns with the spellstones are crazy.
Try mine, it uses the quest as a side win condition, rather than being the main one, trying to gain value from already good minions and spells. I've won plenty of games with this deck without ever even completing the quest.
Priest has gotten the shaft a lot haven't they? Looking at the Un'Goro priest cards WITHOUT the quest I was trying to make something that wouldn't be completely helpless. Its a Thoughtstealesque card generating deck with flexibility and board clears, and its win condition is Medivh + Free From Amber to try and generate a sudden board swing.
Not bad on paper, but in reality Jade alone presses hard and swiftly grows larger than the things Medivh can generate. I played with this a bit and got about 50/50 win results so eh? That being said, I do wanna try out other ideas for Priest, I'd love to see some shared here to brainstorm how to make a not completely weaksauce Priest deck for Un'Goro.
Warrior has N'Zoth's First Mate, Fiery War Axe, and Upgrade! as early game weapons, and Rogue has their Hero Power and Deadly Poison. Early game weapons are essential to making the Pirate decks work and both Warrior and Rogue have a lot.
I think its that the only early game weapons Paladin has is Light's Justice (which is never used) and Argent Lance (also never used). Truesilver Champion is Paladin's only really good weapon card, and by design with its healing its meant for control. In a meta where only the most powerful cards make room in the tight space of a 30 card deck, Paladin's weak early game weapons just don't make the cut for pirate synergy.
It's the same reason Pirate Hunter and Shaman aren't really seen (even though they are tried). Yes, Eaglehorn Bow is a good card, but you'd rather have secret synergy or just powerful beasts, since there are no other good hunter weapons enough to warrant much pirate synergy. Same with shaman. On paper and in a void, Stormforged Axe is a good weapon, but no one uses it because more powerful cards outclass it. And with Spirit Claws you'd rather have Spell Power synergy with Bloodmage Thalnos and Azure Drake.

The only change I made was switching out the two Bladed Gauntlet with two Ironforge Portal for additional synergy with MVP Arcane Tyrant and Medivh.

This probably my favorite art AND favorite golden animation for the set, its a shame its for such an underwhelming card.
But who knows, crap cards have surprised us in the past.

maybe those dead Priest second turns will actually have value after being face smashed by Patches

Had some good luck pushing for face damage with this card in this deck:
