@Mackie264 just like you i don't want to be a dick but did you even bother to play standard in this meta after the nerfs?

As i have played all the top meta decks but Highlander Priest which i never will i do think my opinion on your raging ego is valid.

Just because you are not good at a game after a year of play does not mean that someone else who just starts and knows how to manage resources and make decks that have the win more potential as hunter does cannot reach the rank you bow down to and hardly get.

Hunter in the current meta has a very special place, if you queue in the right matchups it wrecks havoc. Sure it has some bad matchups but if you know how to mulligan and know what tech to use to win some matchups more often you can and not just net deck everything.

I've used Evolve Shaman, Midrange Hunter and Token Druid, aside from some other decks that didn't really work for me in the current meta (Control Warlock, Control Paladin, Handlock, Secret Mage, Jade Druid variants), on ladder earlier in the season and the same decks just weren't giving me the wins at rank 5 to push my way to legend. So a friend suggested i try Zoo Warlock and i managed to get from rank 5 to legend in 8-9 hours.

What i'm trying to say getting to rank 5 is no big deal as you have the option to get on a win streak and free to play decks have always been an option now and in the past. For example Face Hunter and Pirate Warrior were the main ones. Pirate warrior even lives now after the nerf, not so free to play friendly but it was in the past.

Now stop whinning about someone being better than you and give advice on how he should improve his deck for what the thread was ment for.

Managed to beat him first try with your deck, i just put in a Wickerflame and a random spell just to fill the space of the two Gluttonous Oozes. Thanks a bunch!

Managed to beat him second try once i figured how the deck works. Switched Velen's chosen for Power word: Tentacles and it worked just fine. Thanks!

I don't see the point of barnes because there is only 1 good target (Igneous Elemental).

Shadow strike is useless because if you have the need to use 3 mana for that you are alraedy too behind.

I removed the two cards mentioned above and put in Bloodmage Thalnos and a Youthful Brewmaster.

Because of people like you, who don't know what they are doing and don't even try to understand, some people can't get a win and have to play the brawl a dozen of times. Happened to me too, opponent could have killed the boss, he then emoted and let the party crasher kill me. Fuck.

Does the art of the cards which have the Adapt text change depending on which adaptation you choose? Or does it stay the same? Because if it does it would be the coolest thing ever.

I am asking because of the topic about adaptation mentioned above. For those of you who don't want to scroll back up i have provided the paragraph below.

I really like the fact blizzard is giving 12 free packs, we already received a free legendary and returning players who did not log in for the last 2 months get 15 packs.

100% agree with the other comments that say the Legend grind deserves better rewards. I can stop at 5 and earn 500 dust or make it to Legend and earn 550...what’s the point? Blizzard turns off win-streak at 5 and says: “If you win 30 more games in a row, or on average about 50-60 out of  100 you get a slightly better reward”! Yeah for some players it takes the whole month just to make it to 5 from 9. Got Legend already, not try-Harding anymore...

Pathetic. So when your mum uses a recipe for cooking,  she should feel sorry for herself aswell? Do you call every football player a scrub who is not inventing his own shots?

This game is about fun. Ok, so you like to challenge yourself and build your own decks, fine. But most people just want to open the game, play a couple matches and leave again. Plus most of us have to think through how to spend our dust and not everyone can craft „the darkness“ for the memes.

Friendly reminder: You are not special because you won a game with your dragonsoul deck on rank 10. Wake up.
