A game without ranks?  Aye, I'd play that.  That's how I choose to play HS anyway.

I find it very difficult to commit my time to Ranked.  It feels that every time I decide to commit to it, a meta comes along which I just can't stand.  Mid-range shaman, Pirate Warrior, Jade Druid, Odd Paladin...  I know that the meta has been better recently but the damage has already been done. 

Blimey.  That all sounds a bit emo when I read it back.  I guess I'm off to write poetry and consider the deaths of butterflies...

Well, I play Priest.  That works. :)

Not to be one of Those People, but... so what if Shaman is bad now?  Every class has had its time in the sun, and times when it's much harder to play.  If you've played the game for any length of time, you've seen this happen any number of times.

So yes, Shaman is bad now.  You have to either put up with its weaknesses, play a different class or drop into Wild.  But give it time... soon people will be complaining about Shamanstone again.

And if I'm honest, some of us still bear the scars from mid-range Shaman.  *shudder*
