1. How would they rig it? Pair you up with an available player with a tendency to play a deck that counters yours, who is themselves not on the final match before Legend?
2. Why would they do it? Your path to Legend is no different to his, hers or mine and yet other people do get to Legend. So why is your progress being singled out?
Also, take some time to toss a coin a few thousand times. See if there are any sequences of heads / tails that look suspicious...
Maybe it's just a feature of the decks I tend to play but I have a miserable win rate against Celestial Alignment Druid in Wild. This gives me another chance to disrupt them and maybe win. Day 1 golden craft for me. :)
In terms of defending against this, the only bright side I can see is that the defence against these kinds of shenanigans is the same as against Pain Warlock. I'm not sure how much of a silver lining this is.
I think we're going to be seeing a lot of this card.
When I first started playing, the Brawl was a game mode that allowed me to do crazy stuff and also gave me a valuable free pack. These days I'm less desperate for new packs and I have Duels if I want to throw together some over-powered nonsense. As such, the Brawl feels much less relevant to me, which probably affects my opinion of it.
That said, it feels like a long time since we had an original (or interesting) brawl. I guess with all of the new game modes, it's harder to dedicate resource to something that doesn't drive any revenue and doesn't get a lot of play time.
I think we need to temper our expectations a little and treat the brawl for what it is, rather than what we think it should be.
On that plus side, I just netted a cool 40 dust from my latest pack! Radical!

Heh. Got it to work in Duels. It's win rate is maybe a tad low but there's more to this game than winning.

I'm sorry to hear that you're not enjoying the game. Luckily, no one is forcing you to play it, so use this opportunity to take a break.

If they start singing and throwing crockery, I'm changing channel.

At last! A Nat, the Darkfisher meta!

*facepalm*
Thanks for pointing that out, I totally missed it. :)
in that case, I look forward to seeing other people make the same mistake.

DECISION: Are you playing Extreme Aggro?

This is more interesting than I thought at first glance. It sets up a brutal turn but gives your opponent a turn to prepare.
Turn X: Ashen Elemental
Your turn. Am I holding a Brann Bronzebeard, a Coldlight Oracle and a Shadowstep?
(Yes, I am)

I'm certainly seeing fewer quest hunters, but now it's 60% pirate rogues between D5 and D1. I've yet to see a diverse meta. :)
However, if I can survive to round 6, I'm less likely to be OTK'ed, so I'm not complaining.

Grumble, grumble... Blizzard didn't nerf that card I dislike. :(

DH. Even when you factor it's recent release, it's still the class I have the least affinity for.

Doesn't really look like my kind of thing.

Oh, don't be so dramatic.

I guess being able to play with the new cards is a hidden pre-order bonus.
