Hearthpwn

I never feel like i lose because i got outplayed, it always comes down to who draws better and gets better minions or spells from RNG generation effects. It is a serious problem and I'm only back on Hearthstone until LoR's new content releases at the end of April. Then this game goes right back in the trashcan.

itll get nerfed in a cpl weeks so not really bothered, but yeah, its busted

i try to use garlic bread before quest is done that way you can get value off of both hero powers and kronx. if you miss a plague of death you could replace it with a large minion or possibly a mind control. ive thought myself about trying mind control but ihavent played a  lot this week. its still a work in progress of course and any suggestions or additions are always welcomed! 

it IS the holiday season. I suspect they wanted to start with light changes first to see if it is enough, then revisit it after the holidays with more permanent solutions. I know it sucks but this is more than likely why it happened like this. 

i think it may just be best to get away from garlic bread altogether. while playing this deck i think i may have stumbled upon something really fun....

going to try leaving garlicbread in just for kronx activation and the armor buff pretty much. you could also hero power a cpl times if you get it off before your quest completes for some extra cards

yeah. it just depends on what youre going to be playing against though. if you have to use him early to help control the board and mess up your Mass Res then so be it. I do struggle with early game cards when it comes to that though. i just think the game calls for early game at this point though so you kinda have to play around it

i did notice when i played that when you swap over to garlicbread you can really need healing so i was thinking maybe running quest might be good and adding some more healing effects to trigger so you can swap your hero power again after youre garlic bread, what would you guys think? I try to run the cards that get used most and make the most sense in the meta mixed with the best lot of the new cards as well as sticking to what the deck is supposed to do best to achieve a win. of course priest either wombo combos or stays alive for 15 years mostly, and this deck was meant to be the more annoying never gonna die type XD so im thinking quest might help since it can also buff those mediocre minions you get from garlicbread hero power as well. let me see what i can cook up.

its a rough meta and im still trying things out, sorry for slow replies ive just been kind of waiting for the nerfs since shaman is so strong and it was pretty inevitable that they were coming.

i actually just forgot to remove him from the deck when i posted it i think haha

ever since this game came out i thought it would be so cool if they printed Diablo or Starcraft cards as themed expansions. Like if you did a diablo one, you could call it Soulstone, sell Heroes for each class(example; li ming as a mage hero) and theme cards around the diablo universe with the same mechanics etc that are already used in the game, or bring in new ones not yet introduced. there are just so many little things within something like that, that could make the game feel fresh and fun again without really doing much work or changing anything at all. Just the simple fact that you could see zerglings fighting warcraft creatures and so on would cool enough for me to want to at least attempt it.

and while we are on this subject, i really hope eventually they add new classes still. that is another way to make this game feel new again for the core play.

i have probably played against more shaman since DoD released than i have in my entire time playing hstone.

it just isnt fun to play against. I play highlander hunter and beat it most times, but after facing around 10 in a row on ladder you just have to laugh at how ridiculous it is. How many broken cards did they think they had to print to make the class good? its been like 3-4 expansions and they print over statted cards for it each time, which would be ok if it was like 1-2, but its like 4-5.

it is a hero card. it gets better the more invokes you play. However, and i didnt know this at first myself, when you invoke it triggers the Garlicbread hero power each time as well. with that said, some of the vanilla trash you have to play becomes actually very powerful cards. all in all, garlicbread feels both gimmicky and powerful at the same time imo. will it last past this expansion? probably not, but then again, almost every HS release has a mechanic that gets left in the dust as soon as new releases happen. if they happen to print more garlicbread cards in the next sets and make them better, then it will probably live.
