Wouldn't surprise me if the OP thinks of aggro as the days of pirate warrior, tunnel trogg shaman, or undertaker hunter. That those types of deck are gone is NOT a bad thing.
Aggro isn't like that anymore, but aggro is not dead.
The funniest, and saddest, part of this post is the replies by people who didn't read the OP text. Entitled generation who unfortunately will never realize that they are entitled.
While I feel the comparison to Spikeridged Steed is a fair one, I think when it's compared to "A New Challenger...", it's fairly good. Your stats are guaranteed, and it comes down a turn earlier.
Except this requires two cards (or a hero power) to activate, unlike New Challenger. On the flip side, it’s “fast” meaning you can use it immediately if applied to an existing minion.
I dunno, seems fair but fair doesn’t cut it these days. Spikeridged was better due to the two bodies and double taunts.
This won't see play. There's two ways people might play this.
OTK combo, which is waaay too convoluted and simpler OTK's exist for priest
Tempo to pull out high-statted minions. This is even worse because if you don't have this card in hand, your minions are going to be weak you lose. And once the minion dies or loses health, your advantage is over.
So, yeah, bad card.
your off the mark on this one.....I have one card especially in mind with this one....Star Aligner Abuddy of mine already has a decent Mage and Priest deck with Star Aligner, and this card will really give it a shot of energy! Ther are so many ideas using this casrd....you can play 1 mana chargers and swapthgeir health and attack for example as well.
Star AlignerPriest will be or can be a thing even easier now.
Everyone knows the high roll possibilities. Star Aligner is the first thing I thought of.
The problem is twofold. Can priest survive long enough to pull the combo off in the meta, and can a deck be good with a bunch of bad cards that require one legendary to not only be played but also to not die or be damaged? This reminds me of Lady in White, where everyone went nuts over it but turned out to be weak due to the two aforementioned reasons. This card seems even worse to me.
Solid little arena card, not good enough for standard cause there’s better 2 drops and it’s an eh pull from Bane of Doom but I’m just happy they’re adding in the unique demons
Also nice someone downvoted me for a simple comment that is a reasonable thought about the card, don’t see any reason to do so but alright
Because if a card is just fair (neutral to boot) and not game breaking in anyway, people get angry even if your review is “the card is just fair”. Basically, if it isn’t amazing in some way, then Blizzard is the worst money-grabbing company, the developers are out of ideas and Hearthstone is dying. And you’re just a fan-boy.

This is crazy powerful, you all realize he will be reborn with divine shield right? It will take A LOT to take this him down. Even with a silence you've used up 3+ mana and then there is still a 10/10 to deal with.
Or, you ignore him, go face, and get a free turn because the opponent spent 10 mana to summon him.
But so far the new Cards are promising... or at least more promising that the last expantion cards were
It's funny that you say that. In case you forgot, the last expansion's final reveal stream dropped all the cards for murloc shaman, secret paladin and token druid. And the last expansion had no real taunt cards before turn 5 while losing some big ones like Tar Creeper. Last expansion also had no board AoE. You should have been optimistic going into last expansion as an aggro player.
Control is much weaker than before too. So is Aggro. I actually think the level of relative strength between the archetypes is in a good place.
You are going to be a lonely man with that opinion. Opinions are opinions, if you liked that, then great. But most people think that was one of the worst metas. It was a coin flip of whether control drew Reno, and even if they drew Reno you could still lose. Aggro played identical /every game/ and had no decisions or skill required whatsoever. Control had no real decisions either, and just hoped he survived until turn 6 and drew Reno. This was the epitome of a no-skill, all-RNG meta, and Blizzard is clearly trying to make sure it doesn't come back. Thankfully.
Don't forget last expansion when they revealed massive cards on the last day for secret paladin, murloc shaman and token druid. While those decks had varying success, it was pretty jarring to see such meta shifting cards revealed so late. You never know.
So bad without the quest. Probably the weakest Choose One card we've seen yet. This would never be printed at this low a power level without the quest.
Kinda worries me that Choose One cards looks to be design-constrained by the quest now.
Seems bad. What would King Krush have to cost to be played? My guess would be 7 mana. Meaning you get a 2/4 body bonus for severely restricting your deck. And that's especially bad in Hunter, which has a lot of card synergy that has to play out for that class to be any good.
Only would see play if some 3-mana card combo was printed (i.e., 3 mana, duplicate a friendly beast) or in Wild Hunter, with Reno and Brann or whatnot. Otherwise, just put King Krush in your deck and pay the 2 mana for avoiding the deck restriction.

While I agree with these changes... have they ever HoF'd a card in the middle of a year?

Eh, 15 health is not easy, especially when the opponent knows you are going for the quest.

Apparently Blizzard didn't have PTSD after Star Aligner Druid

The Star Aligner of the set, a card that seems too convoluted and difficult to pull off, and then breaks the meta when someone figures it out.
