I know not of any card game, where what you get in the packs, aren't determined when you get them. If Hearthstone follows the same model (which is highly likely) saving up won't matter, since the new cards, will only be in packs earned, or bought, after that date.
I think the best way to deal with Druid, would simple be to HoF Kael'thas. Without him, the deck is still strong, and have a lot of mana cheats, but it is closer to being fair. With him however, it is nowhere near fair. It's disgusting and evil.
...The issue then would be that it would leave the game as a full on aggro nightmare, which sadly, always tends to pop up. Especially after Demon Hunter started to pollute the game.
The neutral that draws up to three cards are not really anything worth mentioning for Paladin, in ky opinion. It's extremely rare I see a Pala with a completely empty hand. Usually more around 4-5 cards, unless they're murloc, which usually either wins or loses before this sort of thing becomes relevant.
Pala needs some draw that works regardless of hand size, like the weapon based draw card that Warrior/Rogue just got. Something like that would be what Paladin players are begging for.
That being said, I think Libram Pala got stronger. Some real good buff cards, and a few efficient minions for them, along with a real good dual class legendary to work with that facilitates it. Gonna look forward to trying mixing some of those in.
Seems like they're trying to push some sort of divine shield, self buff for Paladin? Is... Is this actually functional synergy with the Librams? Are they actually supporting something for Paladin?
To add insult to this card, consider this: Gift of Luminance could make this a bit better, by comboing and adding a second of Turalyon to rush in and hit a target, whilst giving them both divine shield. Which would make it a mediocre, yet better 10 turn card combo.
...If they hadn't priced this at 8, and Luminance at 3 which seems to be very deliberate, and frankly insulting. If this card ever got into a game, after being generated (no one would willingly put this garbage in a deck), it would die before there even were a second turn, and likely have little to no impact. Or just get ignored. Not like it have taunt or anything that makes it a wall.
If Turalyon wre priced at 6 mana, he might see play, but 8? Set exactly to prevent the only combo that might make him at best, mediocre? No. He's going up there as the current trash legendary of the set.
The basic set needs a rework, ditch the murloc cards ans return them to Shaman, and most importantly, they need to stick with a theme when they introduce new ideas, rather than put in the base stuff via an expansion, but not supporting it further whilst they move on to their next idea.
Paladin have become their beta class for testing purposes, though here's hoping it changed this time. Librams are interesting, but they still need more support (especially draw, and a board wide buff) to really shine.
Not confirmed, but seen as likely, judging by the history of shoving new Pala themes in and then ignoring them next expansion in favor of something else.
I've had some success running Murloc Paladin in standard, with a few dragons tucked in there with Scalelord and Bronze Explorer, but it's definitely not amazing. Like several others have said, Paladins have good cards, but that doesn't matter much at a time when *good* isn't enough to keep up.
Guys don't forget you get also 4 arena tickets with the mega bundle, so that's extra 4 packs and if you are successful, maybe even more than that.
5 actually, if you leave a current run at 2 losses, so you get a pack and a new ticket come Tuesday.
A lot of what else you get beyond the packs though, is still gonna depend on some degree of skill, and a boatload of luck. Can't do much if your draft picks are abysmal.
My luck was rotten. 90 packs, only 3 legendaries. -,-'
Kayn Sunfury, Lady Liadrin, and Teron Gorefiend. No duds at least, but still, bad quantity in a 90 pack.
Got 21 Epics though, with three being golden, so there were that at least. And I still have the gold for around 70 packs on launch day. Maybe more if Arena finally decides to throw me a bone during draft. So hoping the second round will be better than this.
I want toplay Pure Libram Paladin, as well as Minionless Mage, so any legendary that fits into those decks, basically. Mainly Evocation, Lady Liadrin, and Murgur Murgurgle.
I really look forward to this expansion. Especially looking at the Paladin cards, as it's just itching in me to make a Pure Paladin Libram deck.
It's a shame Paladin got the worst worst dormant minion for that, but I'm sure some Murlocadin are gonna find a way to make it work. At least the prime seems good.

Gonna have to try this in Spell Mage. Could help with a bit of strength in the later game.

If by bad you mean *Insanely powerful*, then I agree.

I still don't get folks playing Murloc Paladin. It's so dang easy to just erradicate the entire board with ease for any of the meta classes.
