Very cool deck, fits my style very much, first thing I thought also was: Where is Hadronox?

Skaduush1 posted a message on Quest paladinPosted in: PaladinI'm playing just one Paragon and one Peacekeeper in my deck, no Faceless, 2 Kings (bigger Lynessa and pressure against control decks, often forces a silence or transform effect.), 2 Acolythes of Pain (great with Pyromancer + Bells, or buffed up to get more draw), Two Truesilver Champions (mostly because of Rogue) and one Ooze.
I did run a Baleful Banker for another Lynessa/Galvadon in the deck, but it was too bad of a draw in a lot of matches.
Tyrion is often discovered from Stonehill and sometimes you don't want to replace your weapon.Just test out which cards fit your playstyle, tinker around, Questadin is great!

Pumpkin03 posted a message on Control Heal PaladinPosted in: PaladinSpellstone is not necessary. Instead I would run at least one CtA and double Dire Wolf Alpha for Paragon of Light and CtA. So i would cut Zola, Righteous Protector and a Loot Horder IMHO

Hites05 posted a message on Splintergraft Taunt DruidPosted in: DruidThrow a bluegill in there and splintergraft it. 10/10 charge without the beast tag. Swap in a couple faceless and/or ixlid, and you can even turn hadronox taunt druid into otk taunt druid.

Kwakdizzle posted a message on Splintergraft Taunt DruidPosted in: DruidQuote from Kwakdizzle >>Quote from ChickenwithOkra >>Splinter is greed. Hadronox works wonders without it, it just needs the spirit bear taunt which your list is lacking...
Cause, you know, hadronox is a combo card, it's not going to do much for you if you just play even more greedy and lose to aggro.
If you're talking about Witchwood Grizzly, then you're mistaken. The current flood of taunt druids do not run that card because it is a beast, and the purpose of the deck is to constantly flood the board with the deathrattle of Hadronox which can be resummoned through Witching Hour. The risk of messing up the resurrect is not worth the taunt.
About Splintergraft, I agree that using it for Hadronox is greedy and overkill. What could be considered as a janky combo is including Happy Ghoul. If you can copy it, and heal yourself with Rotten Applebaum. then you have free 10/10 Happy Ghouls to spam. That is obviously very difficult to pull off and almost most definitely not worth it.
I know Splintergraft is greedy, I just want to try it in a deck. I also can copy a Primordial Drake if I need a board removal. Just experimenting with this card, but thanks for your suggestion :)No problem, good luck trying it! Let me know how it goes. As far as greedy cards go, it is an 8 cost 8/8, which is not the worst (see: Emeriss), so it could work out as an extra taunt generator for those mirror matchups! -

HyperOrange posted a message on The Shifting Sands: a custom expansionPosted in: Fan Creations1.INTRODUCTION
Time is changing, literally! After the disappearance of Nozdormu a time vortex has brought itself into existence in the Tanaris desert above the Caverns of Time. All sorts of creatures from many places and times are appearing in the outskirts of the vortex, which has given them strange powers and properties. Upon arriving at the battlefield they produce a Resonance, an effect that will trigger in the future if the creature hasn't been destroyed by then.
Resonance is accompanied by a counter which decreases by (1) at the start of your turn. When it reaches 0 its effect triggers, much like a Battlecry or a Deathrattle would. Some Resonance cards have some of the most powerful effects you'll have ever seen but don't worry, you'll have at least a turn to try to destroy your opponent's resonant minions negating their effect or you could also play around them, minimizing their impact.
But that's not all. Some spellcasters have already been able to infuse some of their spells and weapons with resonant powers, and once a resonant spell is played, there's no going back!
All 132 cards have already been designed months ago so I could post them all right now. However, I think it'd be a lot of fun if I revealed the rest of the cards during the next weeks the same way blizzard reveals their expansions. This way you aren't overwhelmed with more than a hundred cards at once and feedback on balance and general opinions can be focused on a few cards at a time. If you have any questions about how Resonance or any or the cards work or if you think a card's balance is off feel free to ask down below and I'll be happy to answer as best as I can. Thanks for reading and I'll see you soon with the next set of reveals.

Birmill posted a message on Control PaladinPosted in: PaladinI like it ! I wouldn't know what to cut of it but what about Corpsetaker ? You have taunt/lifesteal/divine shield already and they work pretty well buffs.
But the deck seems very good like it is, I don't think Corpsetaker would improve it, it's just an idea. (that actually makes me want to make it more midrangy, a bit like OTK Pala was laxt exp)

Merry Christmas people! I hope you receive a lot of legendary cards in future pack openings (not the meme ones xD)

Yes, I was wondering about Chief Inspector, I think I will remove it. I will also add 2x Twilight Drake and some other changes. Thanks :)

I just played 2 games, and 2 wins so far against Even Shaman and Odd Rogue.

Hi people!
First, I want to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and I hope you have a happy holidays!
As a Control Mage fan, and due to the addition of some dragon synergy cards, I tried to build a Dragon Control Mage, and here is the result:
I added Chief Inspector because of the huge amoun of Hunters on ladder. Some advices will be very appreciated :) Thanks

I'm glad you mentioned The Voraxx, one of my favorite cards.

I really don't understand this topic.
Are you angry because there are a lot of different decks on ladder?
Do you prefer that all the people play the same deck? Everyone playing Zoolock, for example?
The world is always surprising me...

It can be good in my Quest Heal Paladin :)

I'm trying to make Quest Paladin great.
In general, I would like to see any kind of Control Paladin being viable to be played on ladder :)

It is similar to Obsidian Statue
