Important to note that the minions improving your hero power are beasts so you can more easily find them with the 1/1 that can discover beasts from your deck.
The best way to balance Theotar is to make it so that both discovered cards get discarded. This way it keeps the disruption aspect of the card while avoiding the swing it creates when you steal a card like Denathrius.
I haven't played many games yet against pirate warrior, maybe 4-5 with this pirate rogue deck but I am undefeated against it. The games end up very close everytime but it seems my deck is just a little faster. Region: Americas Usual Play Times: Mostly play on Fridays and weekends. Level of Experience: Been playing since the beginning of the game. Reaches legend every month. Preferred Heroes: Warror Druid and Rogue, if I go by most win with classes. But I really like Priest and Mage too. I’m Looking For: Mostly to watch and challenge a friend quest. Sometimes asking people what deck is currently working for them when they are on a good grind.
I was saying that going to the bottom of the deck is NOT irrelevant like you said. This is why I used this example. Obviously in later stages of the game you are probably looking for something better with Aquatic form. Druid of the reef is mostly a better card, but not strictly because of Aquatic form. If an aggro beast druid exists, it will want more then just druid of the reef as a one drop. People who will use Bottomfeeder will not be looking to go the long game, quite the opposite in fact.
Pretty sure if your bottomfeeder dies early, aquatic form into a 1-mana 3/5 on 2 is good.
"Why not fetch a better card with aquatic form?" is such a dumb question. You obviously don't know how to evaluate cards or realize that different game state calls for different decisions. What if on turn 2, aquatic form into this IS the best card? Also, do you know that dire mole was a vanilla version of this and was playable? HS has changed since then, but historically , we know 1 mana 1/3 are good. And now we have upsides. You say this is for bottom players, I'd be curious to find your rank.
This along with aquatic form can lead to some early big cheap minions. You could have this as a 3/5 on turn 2. If somehow you can find ways to discover more aquatic form it could get big really fast. I wouldnt be surprised to see this and aquatic form be part of some kind of aggro druid deck

If you had asked how to properly play the deck then you would receive constructive criticism.
Right now, you are just whiney about a very good deck you obviously have no clue how to play. Also, it is quite simple to play so that says a lot.

It deals 6 to three minions, 6 to each of them. This would be the worst 8 mana card ever if it did 6 total split...
2
Buffed hero power + rake = clear a big minion and a big hit to face.

Did those golden cards carry you out of bronze?

How do you match EVERYONE with their counter decks? This means 50% of players get good matchup have you realized that?

Wild player doing broken stuff complaing about other classes broken stuff. Hilarious!

With cards like Aquatic form, being on the bottom is not irrelevant.
