I would play this card without the battlecry.

posted a message on New Neutral Legendary - Chef Nomi

Blizzard really hates fatigue and his own mana restrictions. Hearthstone never needed cards like this that generate 30+ mana worth of stuff on play, or super powerful cards to counter fatigue style gameplay.

Anyway, that's just another polarized card that requires specific and polarized answer. Shouldn't be neutral, same as Mecha'thun.

posted a message on This expansion needs to be deck defining and interesting

It would have been nice to have rotation a couple weeks before the expansion release so we could experience and share with the devs how it actually feels to play basic/classic + year of the raven without further new cards.

Sounds like old gods to me.

Is there anything new thematically is this expansion?

I'm bored. Release the trailer and card reveals already.

posted a message on People with OP decks who play in Casual

People need to stop assuming you are a netdecker/gold farmer the moment you play a decent deck. Many HS players don't netdeck, ever. It doesn't mean they play bad decks. And people also need to understand that netdeckers and gold farmers have the same rights as anyone to play casual. It's not like tons of options are available, it's either casual or ladder. If you don't want to play ladder, whatever is your decks power level you must go to casual mode and meet other people with other reasons to play casual.

I just built a keleseth quest warrior deck yesterday, I'm sure a lot of people were salty when they saw those 2 popular legendary cards on turn 1 and 2, but for me it was a new experience and I had a ton of fun playing and refining a warrior deck with 29 minions while contemplating my opponents trying so hard to play around Brawl and Supercollider.

Now I feel it's good enough for ladder and I don't care if I stomped casuals with "fun" (bad) decks.

The only time I feel bad about playing casual mode is when my opponent is an obvious new player with budget/basic deck, but this is the matchmaking fault, a 5 years hearthstone player like me with 90% full collection should never have an opportunity to play against new players.

Casual mode is just training mode, super weird decks belong to friend VS friend games imo.

Battlecry: uninstall Hearthstone because they are using the same minor character for the third time now, while ton of important WoW characters still haven’t seen the light of the day in Heartstone.

I find this argument so silly. Why do ppl get so upset? HS is based on WOW universe, it does not mirror it nor its lore. WOW uses same characters over and over to develop a story, maybe we can get something like that in HS with time as well, but not when ppl keep QQing about adding new characters and never developing the story of existing ones.

HS isn't a story driven game. We don't need Dr boom to come back every year to develop any sort of story in the pvp environment and I highly doubt this is the reason why Blizzard did this anyway.

I find his argument just fine, compared to yours.

Now, it's still possible that all the teasers refer to new solo content and we get cool new Wow characters and/or just new characters. That's my hope as I care more about art and flavor than stories.

Also, even if blizzard actually just printed hagatha/boom/togwaggle 2.0, they will be new cards anyway, only with poor flavor.

It doesn't have to be a story driven game to have a unique story. Other card games like MTG and Eternal have their unique story, so why not HS ?

Well hearthstone story is heroes of warcraft lore joining together in a tavern to play a card game based on various warcraft characters.

Many characters returned before, elise, ragnaros (twice) , Dr boom etc. We all welcome this.

But making multiple teasers to the new expansion of the new year only to showcase returning characters from the last year including one that has already returned, well that's a whole other level and I'm just curious and sceptical, maybe it's all for nothing and the expansion will be great, I hope ;)

    Meh.

I don't particularly like any of those villains. Togwaggle is just a kobold with fat belly and basic kobold traits. Hagatha is just a female orc with male skin. Rafaam is an ethereal thief okay whatever. Dr boom is just a goblin engineer with basic goblins traits, main character in 2 expansions already.

I just want new cards I don't even care about the trailer anymore, I already know it's the most boring expansion thematically.

The problem is with you sadly... Nothing will be good enough for you, because you are only a sad little cry-baby... I'm feeling bad for you

I am playing Hearthstone since closed beta, have preordered nearly every expansion and adventures with no regret. Lots of things are good enough for me. Don't feel bad, I have enjoyed HS more than you ever will.

posted a message on [NOT SALT] Shudderwock is still a big issue in wild.

I don't understand why they don't nerf dopplegangster the same way they nerfed chain gang ??

They acknowledge this combo as a power level issue AND a design issue, and both issues are aggravated in Wild. Yet, they only fixed chain gang that was going to rotate soon anyway? Why?

You cannot run a competitive shaman deck without shudderwock anymore. And when you do, you just stomp everything that doesn't draw in correct order because your deck doesn't even care about order, play everything, play shudderwock, waste 2 minutes of your time and mine, add 8 shudderwock with 1 mana cost to your hand, play all of them next turn for pure BM, waste 2x8 minutes, win the game.

You think you can dirty rat them down? Think again, they will dirty rat your dirty rat and shudderty rat your win condition and eat your soul.

I miss jade druid meta/pirate warrior meta.

Cloning gallery + coffin crasher + whatever removal = easy Hakkar trigger, whether it's in your hand or in your deck.

    Wild : priest. Obvious reasons.

Standard : hunter. I hate the hunter secrets mind game. Playing around the wrong secret for multiple turns, missing 20 easy damage, knowing it's your own fault ultimately.... Not to mention they are under costed cards by design, while mage and paladin secrets are not.
