If you want to enjoy Wild format, you need to concede back to rank 20 whenever you get to rank 16, and concede against every druid and priest you ever come across. (Jade druid and Big priest are getting a lot worse in RoS, don't ruin your mental health trying to defeat them fairly)
It sucks but it's the only way to feel like you're playing a card game where choices matter, and see some off meta decks and cards, aka the true wild experience.
Not preordering because of this. It was a lot of fun to watch Kripp, Kibler, Toast and Trump playing against each other with new cards, but they literally RUINED the whole reason to buy a new expansion with these pre release streams. We already know which cards are good or bad, we've seen the new mechanics in action, we know which deck is better than other deck within a certain class, we know what we overrated and underrated.
Most of the cards in an expansion only see play in the first week of experimentation. Now that they have taken that away from us, why bother spending 80 dollars for 135 potential new cards of which 20 will see play in a refined meta ? I'll just craft the cards I want with Genn and Baku free dust, since I know exactly which cards I want before I can even play with them, thank you Blizzard for saving me money.
So this has Echo?! So they realy went this far just making up new text because they didnt want a 1x keyword in the set? wtf?
Blizzard developers really have some weird thought process going on inside their head most of the time. Or they are just plain idiots thinking they are acting "cool" making keywords this way.
They seriously need to consider the community reaction and realise it's a shit idea. It is supposed to be less confusing for new players (don't ask how) but it is more confusing for EVERYONE. And the "flavor" argument is just Blizzard Bullshit. There isn't a single human being on earth who cares about Echo being tied up to Witchwood and Recruit being tied up to K&C.
With 4 lackey generators you are very likely to have a lackey before you draw Togwaggle, I don't see what's wrong ?
By the time you get to turn 7, the odds of having drawn a lackey card are close to 100%.
Yoi should worry about the consistency of drawing Togwaggle, not the lackeys lol.
Though that may be, the power level of Togwaggle could make it worth it to hold onto a lackey until he’s drawn
What do you mean worth it ? Why would you ever play Togwaggle if you don't intend to hold onto a lackey? It's not about the power level. It's about the text explicitly saying that the card does nothing of you don't combo it with a lackey...
This is significantly stronger than Street Trickster. I'll try it. The comparison with Thalnos is pointless, it is obvious if you play this card you also play thalnos in the deck. Thalnos is a bad loot hoarder on curve, this can enable turn 3 spell damage quite easily.

Any deck that can abuse Vargoth will be dominant. So I'll say Druid, Hunter, Priest. What a nice and fresh meta :) hopefully I'm wrong

Found the hunter player.
I assume you weren't there in Vanilla and Naxxramas Hearthstone.
Hunters got a lot more than "just one year" of "shiny time".
Don't victimize yourself and the op wasn't unfair to anyone.

Of course I'm still going to complain about OTK despite the new tools.

Top 5 class cards : Plot Twist, Soul of the Murloc, Underbelly Angler, Underbelly Fence, Mana Cyclone
Edit : Honorable mention : Commander Rhyssa, Mysterious Blade, Blessing of the Ancients, Keeper Stalladris, Unleash the Beast
Top 5 neutral : Archmage Vargoth, Portal Overfiend, Sunreaver Spy, Hecklebot, Toxfin

Considering every class can trigger this card easily, I think it's safe to say it will see play somewhere in the upcoming meta.

My predictions :
Murloc Shaman and Secret Paladin are the new Tier 1 aggro decks.
Token druid is Tier 1.
Some rogue deck is Tier 1, I just don't know what exactly.
Shudderwock shaman, Spell hunter and Rush warrior are Tier 2 because of the hero cards.
Zoolock and Control warlock are Tier 2.
Tempo mage is Tier 2.
Big priest and silence priest are Tier 3.
Mech hunter is Tier 3.
Control mage is tier 3.
Eureka/Muckmorpher shaman is Tier 3.
Jepetto and Elysiana aren't played at all. Archmage Vargoth pops up in a ton of decks.

Members in this thread have an average age of 14. Kinda gives justification for the Jaina nerf.

It's reaaaally good with magnetize minions and Dr boom hero, but it's reaaaaaaaaally bad on it own.
This card is stuck in a weird place between defense and aggression.

Wow Corrupted Seer will finally see play.

Shudderwock synergy ? Shuffle 12 portals into your deck ?
