What's wrong with being a Christian, no need to bring in my religion. To be fair Activision could do with some old fashion Christian values: One of the seven sins is greed, corporate greed in this case. And I will be glad to point that out on the forums if you like it or not even if it does hurt your snowflake feelings. Feel free to react to all my posts on this forum as you are clearly doing.
You might find humor offensive but it helps break down barriers and challenge prejudice. You might find it appalling. But I am just exercising my free speech, I am not the one offending anyone's religion, and I am staying within the boundaries of political correctness.
Very constructive Atramentar, I am sure you achieve greatness in life with that attitude! :)
I made this post because think the dust economy is one of the main reasons the game is so expensive. We all have pretty useless epics and legendaries we have rotting in our collections because disenchanting them feels extremely bad.
Being constructive would be suggesting something like:
Cut non-golden crafting costs by half: Because it feels really bad having to destroy cards to make new cards. The fewer you have to blow up to make new stuff the better, as it lets players hold onto more of their collection instead of constantly losing them to try and keep up. This allows cosmetics to still be money-makers and might even encourage people to make them more since they have to worry less about their collection
The pricing model is so laughably bad, I’m happy the community is finally catching on!
But what about the dust to crafting ratios? These are absolutely as terrible and one of the main reasons people feel forced to buy more packs. If you buy a mega bundle, you can’t even dust enough to craft a deck because the dust refund is 1/4 the value of an actual card. We should be up in arms about this too, it’s complete nonsense.
Complete with 5 wings, 5+ legendaries, a full set of cards, fun and challenging bosses, heroic mode, and 2 card backs. Remember when they took that away, Blizzard promised that each expansion would come with a full solo content?
there is a huge difference, the game becomes 35% more expensive, but you prob will need an example to understand. example: buying 3 expansions 3x $50,- per expansion now becomes 3 expansions 3x $50 and 3x $35 per mini-expansion from 150 now to 255 ! that is a huge cash grab! If you don't see the difference between the one or the other you are probably one of the ignorent hearthstone wales that blizzard shareholders enjoy so much. Keep it up for the next 5 years, your wallet will love you for it.
I like it, the meta quickly turns stale in between expansions.
The OP isn't saying he doesn't like new cards added, or a change of the meta halfway during the expansion, he is saying it makes the game more expensive! and it's ripping people off. And he is correct! Blizzard is already earning a lot of money with Hearthstone, this greed will make them a lot more! They will have really happy stakeholders If stupid people, like some whales, who already invested so much, will just keep paying for it. Activision fired more than 400 employers and with tricks like these, they will earn 30-50% more revenue!
And if you can't afford to spend MORE money it means you won't be able to keep up and minimize your games with fewer decks. Blizzard just said a big fuck you to you too! because you won't be able to keep up unless you play 12hours a day and farm as much gold as you can. Good luck with that!
If you think you lose because legend players are so much better, I have bad news for you; you probably aren't very good at the game.
Legend players aren't THAT much better than any other player. They just have spent more time climbing.
Spoken like a true player who probably never reached legend before! So many silly contradictions in this one statement... "If you don't realize that other Legend players are BAD, you are a BAD player" "Other legend players are just like other players, but you only good when you realize this..."
What a joke statement. If you want to become good at this game you got to put in the time! Look at your own gameplay and not at others. You don't learn as much from watching streams, not as much as when you play yourself. Take the time to learn a good deck for at least 60+ games.
Legend players improve on the micro-decisions they make in this game by grinding and playing many many many games. That makes them good. But you probably knew that already as the truly Legend player that you are :)
