If the Standard Priest deck is a little too rich for your crafting budget, here’s a stripped down variant that dispenses with the Reliquary and some of the slower cards to beef up early-game removal. Sitting on 9-mana board clears sucks when demon man is punching your lights out on turns 5 and 6 (truly, you are not prepared!), and the taunt of the Prime just gets ignored by DH kill-shots. Sketchy guide is included, give it a shot and have fun:
It seems we have at least a plurality - if not a full-fledged consensus - that face hunter is the most annoying deck in the current meta. Certainly that seemed to be 90% of what I saw played between levels 10 - 5 this month. So - what’s the best counter to that 5- turn killer? Anyone?
I’ll happily lose to every other deck for a week or two just to put that particular deck in it’s place.
So it's now Friday morning, and I still have no option purchase chapter 3. 1 and 2 are fully cleared, all decks unlocked, all hero powers unlocked, nothing left from the first chapters. So what's the deal? Anyone else having this? Any ideas?
Just got three - one RoS and two Classic - packs at 4:00 am EDT. Pretty fast turnaround, not sure why people are already up in arms. Give it long enough to resolve, people! Sheesh!
The Rise Of Shadows update means that Whizbang the Wonderful now uses RoS deck recipes. I played through multiple games until I got both decks for every class to confirm that they matched the full RoS recipes. Enjoy!
It's not just you. This deck works a treat if you get a perfect deal, your Barnes pull is perfect and you have an Ancestral Spirit to save the token, and your opppenent is playing a really slow deck. Really really slow. Otherwise, well, it IS fun to play as long as you don't mind going backwards on the ladder.
So on a whim I played this all morning and I'll agree with the OP - this deck is righteous and damn near unstoppable IF certain conditions are met:
IF you already have the legendaries (most of which are not worth crafting at this point in their life cycle)
IF you get a perfect starting hand.
IF you get Barnes out by turn 5 and get a perfect Barnesummon.
IF your opponent has a very slow deck. Like , really slow.
On the other hand, if you don't go four-for-four on those conditions, please refer to the first response to the original post. Much wisdom to be found there. Fun? Yes. Meta-anything? Dear gawd no.

Edited because of some Nova confusion. Reads better now.

Too slow, IMHO. Unless you get perfect draws you are dead before your 5 and 6 drops can hit the board.

Wow. Pogo Hopper battle. 8 games, 18 minutes, 8 wins. The last was mirror but going first still guarantees a win, so yay.
Someone didn't think this one through.
EDIT: Just beat the Pogo twice by being a complete arsehole playing the Pally Time Out and roping every turn. So there's that, anyway ...

No, they said 1500 packs each hour, for a TOTAL of 48000 packs over the four days. You might want to read the thing again.
