posted a message on Improving the System; Matchmaking

It can't be done like that.. unless you're ok with waiting 20 minutes for a match.

The reason you play against so many warriors and shamans is because they are the most played classes, you cant just assign probabilities as you wish, you need to consider the amount of people playing each class.

You can't have 11% of the match-up being against hunter or paladin because only 1% of the game population use them.

If you have 1000 people waiting in queue, and 600 of them are either warriors or shamans how can your matchmaker decide who will get matched against one of less played classes and who will be matched against warrior or shaman?

Blizzard tired of dragon priest, so they're pushing deathrattle priest with OP cards.

    Seems legit :P

posted a message on Idea to fix the wild format.

It will happen less after the next standard rotation, right now the difference between standard and wild is only naxx and gvg, so it's possible to put together a decent deck  (in wild powerlevel terms) without using wild cards, but in few months wild-only content will more then double itself with BRM+TGT+LOE cards becoming wild-only, it will be much harder to play against well built wild decks without cards from the 5 wild-only sets.

posted a message on How many total wins do you have?

Started playing in season 3 (more than 2 years ago?) 5242 constructed wins and 523 arena wins.

I hit the 100 gold daily cap only in the first few days after an expansion launch and when we get a fun\quick\easy tavern brawl (like this week or the chess brawl).

I used to get to at least rank 5 every month, but since LOE I'm playing much less then before, so I'm just doing the daily quest once every 2-3 days, usually I end up being rank 10 only by doing the quests, but sometimes I need to grind some matches in the end of the month to get there.

Why would you even want to dust reno and thaurissan?

They enable so many decks that it make no sense to dust them.

You do understand how averages work right? While you may be one of the few on either side of the curve, a vast majority regardless of skill sit in middle of that curve and it is for them that the game gets frustrating and boring. If you play your deck long enough the law of averages will catch up to you. Your anecdotal experience means nothing in the bigger picture.

It's exactly the opposite, by having global winrate close to 50% for all decks, you are free to choose whatever deck you want to play without being "penalized" for not picking one of the high winrate decks.
In fact decks with winrate higher then 50% promote a stale and boring meta,  it force people to play those decks or direct counter to those decks and nothing else.
A skilled player can get average winrate higher then 50% if he use a 50% global winrate deck easily, but a bad player will get average winrate higher then 50% only if he use a deck with global winrate higher then 50%,then how having all decks close to 50% global winrate is a bad thing?
Picking a 50%+ global winrate deck doesn't make you "skilled", you're simply exploit an imbalance in the game.
For example grim patron warrior had high global winrate in tournaments, so it forced every player that wants to actually win the tournament to bring GPW, but since everybody brought GPW you had to also bring handlock to counter it, so we got boring tournaments that all the participants played the same 3-4 decks.
