Whoa! Nice list. Do you mind explaining how you'd like it to work? Shadowcaster has a lot of amazing potential. Why Sprint over Gadgetzan Auctioneer (as an example)?
I think Kripp had a good idea when he said to raise the cost from 7 to 9 and buff the stats a tiny bit, but keep the effects. I think it called for this sort of nerf. I suppose you could still play it. Maybe not.
With the fall of bladefury, I really like the idea of the weapons you conceptualized in the first set. I'd love a blade that would work like foe reaper. It's less conditional than skulker, and people could play around it (because they see the weapon equipped)! Keep up the imaginative ideas. Love it so far. RIP Rouge (sic).
This is a really good description of the two styles. Decks DO tend to have modes that kick in at different times. For a freeze mage, the "push" happens at turn 12, for example. For Control warrior, it never happens. ResidentSleeper In seriousness, there will always be aggro decks in any card game, and to be ignorant and say that they're for brainless scrubs will end up putting you at loss every game against them. I like to browse the top decks and see what the experts who posted them have to say about their playstyle. There is always something new to learn. :)
Sounds about right! I felt like it was a branding that was a response to the "e" prefix. It made those products sound relevant to the boom of the internet age. At least, that was my impression as a kid, even though I was--and still am--a PC user. :) Steve Jobs was good at producing an image for his products.
Thanks for the great deck! I've been planning to craft Edwin VanCleef soon, but in the meantime I'm running an Earthen Ring Farseer instead. Someone said that Emperor Thaurissan is a good substitute as well, so maybe I'll give that a go. I've been playing Yagut's Oil Rogue for a long time and have found that I can't quite make it go nowadays. The Tomb Pillagers instead of Piloted Shredders seem to be nicer because they contest Sludge Belchers and other things really well, and also help curve out your hand a bit better. Anyway, thanks for the great deck!
Replying to add that it worked out for me in the end. Getting Alex from the Eye really helped, but the deck actively answers what Rafaam dishes out, instead of the passive reactivity from the control decks. Great job.
Every Rafaam deck I look at, there are plebs saying, "first try!", "second try!". So far, haven't been that lucky. Rafaam has exactly the card he needs for lethal. Anyway, mulligan guide? Just trying to get the deadlies? Thanks for the decklist!
Thanks for the reply. Maybe put that in the description of the deck? It's well thought-out. I might give it a go and see what happens. Reno seems harder to pull off on Rogue, imho. LoE has found itself with a lot of valuable cards that seem to fit well. :)
I threw Old Murk-Eye in the face hunter deck that was recommended. Worked amazingly. Nice little easter egg when you play him, too. He's much better than Leeroy Jenkins, though it probably wouldn't hurt to run both, since they are finishers.

Addendum: "Meta" being short for "metagame", that is, the game above the game. :)

You da real MVP. I see a lot of decent cards used in control and midrange decks that appear in that list. Exciting news, this card!

He doubled up scientist. He's just too good of value to have 1 of. Try and get him in your opening hand and you'll Reno just fine.

I'd love to know more about where this deck is going! What's the ideal win condition, for example?
