There's of course going to be a lot of core cards that will be similar to any Lightshow Mage but looking at both your lists, my list has quite a few differences. I always make my decks from scratch and also live stream my process on Twitch so you can see how I make my decks and that I don't copy anyone. This particular deck took me like 20 versions to get to this final one here so I've kinda tested everything lol. And Lightshow Mage has always been one of my favorite archetypes so I've been playing with various lists for a long time :).
The only card that really matters is Steam Cleaner so I left it open for you to decide what you'd like for the other slots like a tech card or duplicate of another card in the deck! :)
@CodyShaman There's actually not that much difference between "low" Legend and top 1k Legend. I make a lot of decks which means experimenting and losing ranks a lot to refine them so sometimes I can drop into low Legend (especially when I meme around) but also frequently climb into 1k with them too and my highest is 140. I've noticed you really only see a big gap in player/deck skill level at the very top legend ranks, everywhere else in Legend is still competitive enough. And that's why I tried to get a decent sample size with the deck just in case of variance! :)
Yep! I found that the silver hand recruits are great to fight for board in the early game against aggro decks and when our Tyr's Tears is forged we still get 3 good minions from it even if it hits a Silver Hand Recruit.
So far I have a 64% WR, 25-14, in Legend so it's definitely ladder viable! And a 2/2 Lead Dancer pulls our Amitus now! I did try a Rivendare package and pulling Rivendare from Kangor or Masked Reveler against aggro decks often lost me more games than I won vs slow decks with it. And especially in this faster meta felt like more of a liability than a win condition. But if you've been having success with it, then that's great and keep it up! :)
Always tough to give crafting advice cause I don't know your collection or preferences but if you're looking to climb then probably not. Thaddius is a very fun card tho in a few different decks like this one and while I personally did well with this deck it's probably not one that's consistent to climb with overall and is meant more for fun. Hope this helps!
...says the guy that just made a new account to troll all my decks and downvote them lol. I don't know what I did to upset you so much but I can assure everyone else that I never have nor will I ever manipulate up/down votes. I mean, I don't need to I just let my decks and the community speak for themselves!
I actually thought this thread was serious, but looking at your profile it looks like you just call every deck useless that you lose with and then make new accounts to troll and downvote them... yikes lol. Everyone else can rest assured that I've never "bumped" or manipulated anything, nor will I ever. Don't know what I did to upset you so much but please stop trolling me as I work very hard to make sure all my homebrew off meta decks are as competitive and fun as possible for the community :)
This being a theorycraft deck, I wanted to err on the side of too much draw rather than not enough especially with it being a Renathal deck but I could definitely see taking out the 2 Arcane Intellect for something else!
I actually don't disagree with you on a lot of this lol. Overheal Priest does lack a few things to truly be top-notch, like a solid win condition besides Hedanis and Heartthrob but like you said it feels like this is the best it can be for now until it gets a bit more support. It is hard to fully support every archetype after a new rotation too so it'll only get better! I had a 60% WR still, so perhaps not the most ideal to climb but you can still pull out some great wins while having fun doing so! :)
Oof, yeah Paladin is definitely the worst matchup too lol. All the divine shields can be tricky. But sometimes you can line up some big clears with Defile or Darkvein!

On the contrary, it's actually the best deck in the world right now according to the stats on HSreplay!
