posted a message on Baku is sooo bad for Warrior.......

Shield Slam is pretty much an Execute since 4 armor per turn is hard to keep down outside of aggressive decks and most aggressive minions have 4 or so health. Also makes Reckless Flurry much stronger since it is more almost always a 4 damage aoe.

On top of that i see this more so in a deck like quest warrior to help survive early on while you complete the quest at which point you hopefully don't need the armor anymore and can take the offensive with DIE, INSECT!. Throw in Azalina Soulthief to refill your hand with tons of value and it seems like something is there to me. Of course we have to wait and see but if warrior gets some decent taunt minions in the odd mana slots I think some is there.

posted a message on New Neutral Legendary - Azalina Soulthief

Aggro either loses or wins by turn 7 so i doubt this sees play in there.

However there is something no one has mentioned yet that might make this insane in slower decks...

You get to SEE what your opponent has that in itself is extremely powerful (look at MTG and cards like thoughtseize which offers alot of power from you simply knowing what the opponent has). On top of that you also get their hand which is kind of like an Un'Goro Pack but way better since you're getting cards your opponent put in their deck. I think if control warlock remains relevant or any other control deck comes to top tier we're gonna see alot of Azalina Soulthief to help grind them out (Imagine your opponent plays Rin and goes through casting several of the seals and then you play this and only have to go through 1-2 before get azari). Also this would would be seen in a quest warrior to help refill your hand after you get the quest done which is something quest warrior always struggled with or simply a control warrior tool after you exhaust your hand.

TL:DR Knowing what your opponent has is nuts, the value is insane from this card, and I think if there are control decks trying to be greedy this is a must have in those decks.

posted a message on New Warrior Minion - Militia Commander

First thoughts are that this punches right through Tar Creeper and leaves a 2/2 on the board which quite nice. The body itself isn't amazing but 5 attack is that special number that might make it usable like a Jade Lightning. However warrior needs a good early drop that can be followed up by this to gain board control.

So since this says START OF THE GAME do i have play this first to get its effect or does it trigger at the START OF GAME?

    REAL QUESTION here.

it start of the game means it will work at the start of the game before you play any card like prince malchazaar.
But the real question is it requires your deck to have no even cost cards tho this card's cost is even so in order to make it work do you have to draw it  at your opening hand ?

Since when is 9 an even number?

shit I thought it is even cuz it can be divided to three lol.
Wtf is this? 3 isn't an even number either.....

For reference Sylvanas Windrunner . This card although slow (its a 5/5 for 5 mana that does nothing) can be a very powerful card in the right deck as it offers 2 deathrattles and a looming threat in summoning Sylvanas Windrunner back on any turn. However it still can be countered through silence or transform effects.

The card shows off the transformation of Sylvanas from when she was alive to when she was slain at the hands of Arthas (later known as The Lich King ) then resurrected to serve him in undeath.

My guess is those posts were teasers for the teasers of the announcement that's going to announce the next expansion. (and yes I just wanted this to be as brain warping as it sounds)

posted a message on I want to become a better player

I don't know if you use it but HSreplay is a great way to help improve yourself as you can see what cards remain in your deck while in a game, look at decks other people are playing, and can share replays with people like us so we can tell you misplays done on your part. It also shows you which classes are doing good right now which Shaman currently isn't so if you can switch to another class like warlock, priest, or paladin all of which have very powerful decks right now.

Other than that its simply knowing whats popular and building a deck to beat those decks (or playing net decks). Its different since you have a smaller collection but you should still be able to find decks that are cheap but powerful. Aggro decks like Murloc Pally and Zoolock are both relatively cheap and the legendaries in those decks are insanely powerful and used almost across every deck of their respective classes so it's safe to craft them. (Namely Bloodreaver Gul'dan and Sunkeeper Tarim)

Control Paladin has lacked a good win condition for some time now so i figured why not give them a bone? Most of the time you're going to be shooting for Tirion Fordring but if need be it can summon another card like Wickerflame Burnbristle .

posted a message on Non-Warlock nerfs that should have also happened

Spiteful Summoner is fine as is. It requires massive overhaul on any deck that is built around it, having none of the pressure, tempo, or board control offered by early and most mid game spells. It also provides adequate risk for the Spiteful Summoner player because the very earliest they could play the card is T5 with coin and T6 without (though it may be later), and if they draw any of those bigger spells the value of the summoner also goes down.

Well you also gotta realize that spiteful decks simply build a tempo based deck that ends up having little downside in exchange for possibly 16/16 worth of stats on turn 6. Priest simply uses powerful dragons to dominate the board and make up for the lack of spells with cards like Twilight Acolyte, Duskbreaker, and Kabal Talonpriest while still allowing them to play spiteful.
To me this is the same issue that Prince Keleseth brings in that both of these cards (along with cards like Patches the Pirate and Corridor Creeper) offers low risk high reward decks which can be seen in how drawing these cards (or in the case of Patches not drawing him) can dramatically affect the winrate of these decks. You can see here how crazy Keleseth is if drawn in the mulligan and here to see how powerful Spiteful is to the point that almost half of the time people are keeping a 6 drop in  the mulligan of a tempo deck (It has a higher winrate than Corridor Creeper and only Bonemare has a higher winrate when played). Of course that is only one deck on hsreplay but this holds true through any deck with spiteful and keleseth.
Overall, Spiteful Summoner is an insane card that offers a huge payoff for a slight deck building requirement similar to powerhouse cards like creeper and patches but the issue is that those cards are getting nerfed but kept spiteful in check since they were faster and could kill spiteful before it got going. Meanwhile spiteful gets away untouched which is going to really show off its insane power in the up coming meta since the biggest counter to spiteful decks (aggro with creeper) are taking a huge hit in terms of powerlevel.

posted a message on Let's Speculate: Upcoming Balance Changes

Right now I’m expecting these nerfs

Dark pact- The healing no on top of usually insane plays of summoning a void lord is just to much like the article said 2 mana or maybe a reduce in healing would bring it in line

Corridor Creeper- I’m gonna say this will go to maybe 9-10 mana making it much harder to get out early on while hopefully remaining playable.

Raza the Chained- Now this probably won’t happen but with shadowreaper running around it’s simply to strong a deck and in wild escpecially with Reno I don’t think any deck will be able to beat it.
